When I booked it through agoda it was the cheapest displayed on most of the hotels in Perth CBD...I stayed for 7nights I was surprised how big the room was it was very clean & the staff was very helpful & friendly...the location is the best close to everything from shopping center to all the best cafes & restaurants you can think of ...I have stayed in hotels in Perth many times this is without a doubt the best ...I am definitely coming back here ..I am here on business trips & this hotel is a GEM...

Chose to stay here as we had a bad experience at a cheaper hotel near by last time. For a extra $20 we got a 5 star experience. Super huge comfortable bed, ultra clean room. This hotel is no spring chicken, but fairly well kept. Quiet location off the highway. My first stay here and have already booked for my next trip with a late arrival into Perth. The menu was a little on the expensive side so we ate elsewhere ( put off by negative comments about restaurant also). Bit far from dining options but we drove the 6km to Albany Highway, Victoria Park where there are plenty of choices, even on a Monday night.

Don't normally stay at older style properties when on business trips but all the 5 star Perth hotels were waaaaay over budget. Ambassador Hotel was pleasantly surprising. Lobby and restaurant are dated but rooms / bathrooms have been renovated. Food in restaurant good and with economical options. 24 hour lobby mini bar (great idea!) and. Ending machine. Guest laundry onsite excellent. Staff wonderful. Onsite Parking cheap as chips!! If you don't like paying the ridiculous prices most other properties in Perth are charging then the Ambassador Hotel is a great option. Will return, definitely.

Great place to stay when in Perth. Very friendly staff. I booked 2 bedroom apartment, and they upgraded me to 3 floor town house with 3 bed rooms. Walkable distance to Perth city center. I parked the car at the hotel, and then just use cat bus to go around Perth city.

Small, cosy apartment hotel with lovely and relaxing view of the pier. Really loved the location. We got recommended a nearby restaurant called 'Propeller' which is in our opinion, one of the best in Perth! What's even more awesome is that hotel guests get a 10% discount off the bill. Really appreciate the friendly reception ladies and them going the extra mile to receive a parcel I ordered online for delivery. Everything was well taken care of! Will be back definitely :)

I was a little apprehensive about the overall facility and the sound insolation of the apartment after reading from the reviews as this property was our 3rd choice after all the ones that in our 1st and 2nd choices list was taken up. I was wrong (so many of the reviewers were unfair about their comments) as the property fits our needs and requirements perfectly. The staff service was 5 stars as they had fulfilled our requirements for a unit away from the main road facing the highway. The staff placed us at back unit (apartment 206). As we were arriving late after their office hours (they closed at 6pm), they had dropped us an email detailing where to collect the key if we were to arrive after their operating hours. Similarly, as we were checking out before midnight, they had requested that we only drop the key at the security box. Amazing, all thought of to ensure guests have hassle free check in. Despite the building looks a little aged, but the cleanliness of the property and equipment (including cooking utensils, cutleries, oven, cattle, bread-toaster) are dated. One very plus point (which my wife is appreciative of) is the unit comes with washing machine and a dryer; this certainly helps when you are traveling with kids and many days away from home. The unit size is sufficient with sofa, dining table and very comfortable bed for a family of 4. As for the location, it is very ideal as it is rightly located at the boarder of CBD and south-Perth. Be it if you are going North of Perth, South of Perth and Fremantle, it sits centrally. I will certainly go back to this apartment if I am back again, and yes, I would truly recommend everyone to stay there.

The location of the hotel is in West Perth, not far away from the hustle and bustle of the city if you drive. The best part of staying in this hotel is the free parking that comes with the booking. The parking lot is just a couple of blocks away, roughly 3-4 mins walk. The public parking lots outside the hotel are free after 6pm/before 8am and on weekends, so it's quite convenient as well. The room is clean with decent amenities like a small gym. The only comment that we have is that we don't always see the staff at the front desk, perhaps they were in the office located behind the desk. This makes it seems weird (like lack of hospitality and human touch) as most of the hotels we stayed are manned 24/7. There was a fire alarm which went off at 6am but it turned out to be a false one which the hotel had no control over. I thought the incident could have been handled better as we did not hear any evacuation message over the PA system & there were no fire wardens guiding/updating guests.

We did an overnight after flying in to Perth. Hotel was easy to access and check in. Apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We walked up the road and found 3 restaurants close by. In the morning we had time to take a free bus in to the city, shop and have breakfast before we returned to the hotel to heck out at 10:00am. So convenient we will stay here again.

It’s not the newest hotels in Perth , but what you get for your money is brilliant . + location ( lots of Asian restaurant within walking distance ) + 10 minute walk to cbd + on-site Parking ( extra fee ) or parking on the street ( free on weekends or between 18.00 - 08.00 ) + Bar / Restaurant with happy hour every day ( 17.30 - 18.00 ) Most the times I booked this hotels I paid around 80 -100 $ per night . Compared to other hotels I stayed in the cbd + the parking stress this is why I review the great southern hotel like this . It’s a good budged Hotel , if you want a bit more luxurious this is not the one .

Convenient location just a short bus ride from the central shopping area. Yellow Cat (free bus on a city loop) stops 50m from the front door. A great price for the space provided. After hours check in was straightforward. Appliances, furnishings and fittings were all well maintained and very clean. There is a small IGA supermarket across the road that stocks everything we needed at reasonable prices - otherwise, we caught a bus from a few blocks away on Adelaide St, that took us to Belmont Shopping Forum where there is a Woolworths & an Aldi, along with Best & Less clothing and other stores. A 10 minute walk from the WACA and a 15 minute walk to the Perth Mint.

Very pleased with the hotel. We stayed one night on our arrival in Perth and booked to stay the night before our flight home because we were so happy with the facilities. We will definitely stay again when we next visit our Australian family.

Located in East Perth and with free parking , it's good for those with car. Booked a 1 br and paid another AUD 15 per night at the counter for the extra bed set up in the living room for my kid. I walked to Perth CBD centre too and it's quite a straight forward walk of about ten to 15 mins. For good and value Italian food, the Italian restaurant at their Bailey's Motel a short 5 mins walk away is a great options and which we had 2 of our meals there over the 2 Nights we were in Perth city centre.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in Australia. Location won't be a problem if you will rent a car in Perth! Great clean room, so comfortable!! Love the shower!

Stayed at the Waldorf block; albeit a short walking distance from the main reception area although there was a small reception at the lobby of the block but only opened Mon-Fri. 1 bedroom apartment was comfortable. An extra bed was put in into the living room area. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was large (together with the laundry area). A relatively quiet part of the city but yet easily accessible. A big plus point was the availability of a free car park bay, which is a rare find in Perth. Although free wifi could be provided as well. A very secured establishment; needing an apartment card key to get around. Very close to King's Park by climbing Jacob's Ladder (200+ steps). A haven for avid health enthusiasts on a Saturday morning. Within walking distance to the Perth CBD, although it took a slightly longer time of 35 minutes to Northbridge, where the restaurants are located.

Not the staffs fault but being aware of the backwards thinking of perths hotels still thinking that they can charge for wifi as some kind of extra privelage with some of the worst speeds in the world....was gobsmacked to be caught out by the hotel boasting a carpark then giving me a ticket for the adjacent carpark which was great....until was charged $30 a night for the privelage!!! Lesson learnt WAustralia still has the worst hotel service .....apart from that clean room...nice staff and great location!!

if you book through Agoda, the room is already inclusive of breakfast. Among all hotels in Perth I can say that Miss Maud has the best breakfast spread. And now they have a lift! previously it was difficult to manage especially with big bags. Good thing they have the lift now. I will continue to make it my preferred hotel when in town.

Love staying at the Alex and was remembered when I checked in from my previous visits...I was even given my favourite room to stay in as well. Great way to spend Australia day relaxing with friends and drinking wine before heading up to the rooftop garden and watching the Perth Skyworks show. Breakfast included the following morning and served to 11am and while the continental options are still free, there is now the option to have a hot breakfast as well (extra charge). And I also love the fact that unlike a lot of hotels in Perth, checkout isn't til midday!! So loads of time to sleep in and have a late breakfast and not be rushed to leave the hotel! Cannot wait for the next time to stay at this hotel!!

Location is superb! Near to CBD where you can enjoy weekend night at CBD squares. Night market on friday nite. Near muslim restaurant. Insan Cafe just beside the hotel and Love & Care Cafe at the corner. Ispa Kebeb about 500mtrs if you lazy to cook! Perth underground was about 500mtrs for us to explore Fremantle & Mandhurah by train. Caretaker needs to spend more time to check on cleanliness of the kitchen esp at night. Parking was at aud22 per night & very expensive if you just need to park at night. Overall one of the best backpackers hostel!

Front desk staffs was polite and approachable, able to explain details of available amenities. Apartment hotel room well maintained with basic facilities and kitchenette for simple cooking. Bathroom with available washing machine. Blue CAT buses (Francis St.) within walking distance heading to CBD area for connecting to other parts of Perth from Northbridge. Few eateries/cafes located within couple of buildings along hotel for a some snacks. Corresponding communication with apartment hotel staffs were excellent, as we've arrived out of standard check-in time and follow up. Daily apartment service provided timely, except bottled water was not provided unless requested, as it was complementary upon arrival (as informed by the housekeeper).

A stone's throw away from car rental (Bayswater) and the bus stop right in front is where we take bus 380 to the airport. The red CAT bus is a 5 min walk to the street at the back. To walk back from the Perth Underground station takes about 15-20min. The front of the hotel is an old cathedral which is really special and beautiful. There is a small but equipped gym and a free laundry for guests which is open round the clock. Wifi was strong. Size is adequate for 2 people, not exceptionally big but acceptable to me. There is a cooker and hob, with enough utensils and cutlery and crockery. There is also an oven toaster and coffee plunger. In one side of the wardrobe is a big vertical tank (water heater? I'm not sure), but this is the first time I have seen it in a hotel room in the wardrobe. Bed is comfy and everything is clean. Checking in and out was quick and fuss free. The reception was not rude but definitely the least warm one I encountered thruout my stay in Perth.

My 2nd stay for the trip before leaving perth. The courtyard unit seemed to be better than std 2 bedroom unit for its size. This unit is much bigger than the std unit. It is still very clean, and homely. Left our luggage with them on the last day, and we tour around Perth. After returning the car at Adelaide TCE, we took a public bus to come back, and took their airport shuttle to go back to the airport. Big savings on the shuttle! There were 4 bus that can get to city easily at AUD4.20 for 2zone price. The nearest coles is about 7-8mins drive away at Maylands/Belmont. No problem if you have a car. Their wifi is also very good, best throughout my whole trip in Perth.

Location was perfect to my needs as we were up in Perth for country week bowls and our venues was staggered out both sides of the hotel. The breakfast being from the bain marie was super as it was ready soon as you walked in . Our view out over the Swan river was impressive and when I use the venue again I probably will go up to the 9th or 10th floors to have an even more super view over Perth, I have given the Metro hotel in Perth a 9.5 rating as one of the classiest units for the value ever.

I adore this hotel. I look forward to staying here everytime. Amazing bed and pillows. Massive TV and on-site parking avaliable. Spotlessly cleaned rooms and friendly staff make this and many I knows first preference for a hotel in Perth.

My experience at Nest was very good. Since I am a business traveler and travel to Perth quite often, I mostly stays at Nest and happy to recommend the same to family and friends.

this is an older style pub hotel (maybe that’s why bedroom and bathroom are in one space), but very clean with nice decore. our room was a good size, very comfortable, had relaxing decore with a spa. we got a special deal! we tried the hotel restaurant – the food was pretty good. there is a large balcony where you can enjoy a drink and watch the passers by in the street below. there are also lots of cheap asian restaurants nearby, including a vietnamese across the road from the hotel. i definitely can recommend it. the perth cultural center (art gallery, museum, etc.) is about 20 mins walk from the hotel, but a taxi there wouldn’t cost you too much. after 2 stays at this hotel, i’m pretty happy with it.

Right in the city centre, walking distance to all facilities. Holiday Inn doesn't have a gym, pool and all the fancy little extras, but what it does have is convenience, cleanliness, 24 hour front desk team, who greet you every time you pass by, I know it's probably in their contract, but it did seem genuine. Fantastic buffet breakfast, great value or you could just purchase a hot drink & muffin, which would probably be cheaper if that all you need. The room was just like the picture on the website, no glorious view only 8 floors,which was great not waiting forever for the lift. The room was perfect for what we needed, clean, modern and housecleaned everyday. Good night sleep,with pillow choices and big soft comfy bed. This is the second time we have stayed in a "Holiday Inn" hotel, we like the brand and went for what we knew and it paid off, we have no hesitation in recommending "Holiday Inn Perth City Centre" Thanks for a great week in Perth

The location is 1 minute from the Cappucino strip. If you go by car book a car park, it is 25 per day but it is worth it. The Hotel is ideal for Business people not really for holiday makers. Free Wifi is good, as free coffee and fruits. Always good for a visit of Freo and Perth, from there you are in 15 minutes in cottesloe or downtown Perth.

The Mercure Hotel in Perth is in a great location for the walking tourist. Within 5 minutes we could walk to the harbor to catch our cruise to Freemantle. Or within a 5 minute walk the other direction we would be in a wonderful pedestrian only shopping mall area full of outdoor cafes and wonderful courts and statues. It was only about a 10 minute walk to the central train station which provided service to all of the surrounding area. The staff were always courteous and went out of their way to help us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious with extremely comfortable beds. The price of the food was the main drawback. Though there was a pool, it was located behind glass panels on the roof and didn't really encourage lounging.

We were in a group of 3 couples and we took the 3 bedroom apartment. This is probably the best located apartment in Scarboro. Seashell hotel and apartment has all rooms facing the sea, and its true. All rooms are air-con, master bedroom has a very big bathroom(Bathtub) and toilet, with a common bathroom for the other 2 rooms. Big kitchen, big living room, two balcony. U will be greeted by the beautiful indian ocean every morning, a view i will remember for a very long time, and end the day with a beautiful sunset. We rented a Hyundai Imax which cannot be parked in their basement carpark due to the max height of 1.94m, so we parked at the carpark right outside of the apartment. The carpark is free, and do not have to worry if the car would be stolen, as its very safe in scarboro. Within walking distance from apartment, you will find plenty of restaurant, which open till around 9pm. If you are looking for good food, try Grill'd, its very very nice. They served the best burgers in perth in my opinion, and the burger is not that big, just nice for a small guy like me. I would totally recommend anyone to stay at Seashell hotel and apartment for all the wonderful reasons i can think of.

stayed for one night, staff where welcoming and helpful. room was modern, good size, clean and tidy. i had hoped to make use of hotel parking, but was unable to book ahead, parking is allocated on a first in basis. overall great hotel, having stayed in other hotels in perth this one is excellent value for money, great location, good staff, parking.... up the road!
