Find Hotels in Pokhara, Nepal

I've stayed at 3 different hotels in Pokhara and this was my favorite. Lovely setting on the lake and away from the noise of the road along the Lake Side. The style is a little outdated but still has charm. Would definitely recommend it and return.

This is a must-stay-for-one-night-at-least hotel in Pokhara. It would take you a bit of hiking up to the top of the hill but you'll know it is worth it when you reach there. Unbelievable view of the Himalayas! The best view comes at sunrise and sunset, there's no where else to get the amazing view other than Raniban. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I do need to thank them specially for helping me with a short video shooting for a project at work. If you can see this, you know who I'm thanking:)

We stayed in Temple Tree Resort for 3 nights. We planned 1 night after our trek but that changed due to weather and we decided to go back earlier to Pokhara and we booked another 2 nights here which was the best decision ever. Our stay was just perfect. After getting engaged in the mountains we wanted to treat ourselves a bit. The food in the hotel was so good and they even helped us to take the breakfast to our room. We also had a massage there which was very good. All in all, the hotel is perfect and worth the money. We definitely recommend the hotel and we will come back here for sure.

We kept coming back to the Dahlia throughout our stay in Pokhara, finding it by far the best hotel in terms of value for money. (Not much different from hotels almost twice the price!) The staff were consistently so friendly and helpful, the rooms were well presented and the breakfast was fantastic! A wonderful buffet selection of nepalese and continental food. Very interesting. It's slightly further down the strip from all the main hotels and restaurants, although only a few minutes walk away and much quieter at night than hotels we stayed 5 mins walk down. Would happily go back here.

Stayed at numerous hotels in Pokhara, and this was by far the best, and great value for money. Modern rooms with large bathrooms, some rooms with balcony overlooking pool. Clean, modern and roomy rooms.

Spent 2 delightful nights at Hotel Barahi. It's definitely one of the nicest hotels around Pokhara Phewa Lake. I am most impressed by the amazing mountain views of our rooms - you can see the Fish Tail / Machapuchre Mountain just from your balcony. Also, they have a really nice swimming pool - definitely a great way to relax after a day of hiking / trekking. The travel desk is helpful, you can book many activities from them (hiking, sunrise at Sarangkot, paragliding, hiking trip, ultralight etc). Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend time in Pokhara

I toured many hotels in Pokhara and ultimately picked this one for the loveliness of the rooms and grounds and for how quiet it was. I worked with the staff to pick the quietest room that also had a “big bed” rather than two twins pushed together to create a big bed (common practice in Nepal). When we arrived, however, the family that had been in the room we had reserved had asked to stay another night. Rather than asking them to move to another room if they wanted to stay another night, the hotel placed us in a room right above the noisy pool (even though quiet was on my short list of requirements). I complained. Immediately, the hotel staff found a quieter room with two twin beds and moved those beds out and moved a big bed in so that we could have a quiet room with a big bed. The next day they offered to move our stuff to the original room I had picked. I found the staff super sweet and helpful and I really enjoyed my stay. Breakfasts were great, the mountain views were spectacular!

Very nice Hotel in Pokhara. We ended up in the Honeymoon Suite, which is very spacious, clean and well decorated. Check in was nice thanks to welcoming staff. Nice terrace on top floors. In the room: clean and hot water. Bed was very comfy. Bathtub was supposed to offer jacuzzi and hydraulic mechanisms (big asset for the room), but it was not working and the hotel did not advise us on this problem. Attached restaurant is quite expensive for Pokhara but food is good and is worth the price for tourists. Included breakfast is a nice (fresh and good quality) buffet. Spa was out of service, but hotel proposed to use an external Spa company services (they booked it for us and proposed freely a taxi to the spa - return taxi not included though). We highly recommend this hotel for people who are not on a budget trip, as it remains quite expensive. Quality is definitely an asset in the Hotel for Nepal.

The hotel is near Phewa lake and the shopping area. The shopping area is across Phewa lake. My room is on the fifth floor (the first floor is not the ground floor). I have two balconies. My room faces the lake and the mountains. The hotel is nice and clean. I really like the hotel. However, the staff made my stay there outstanding. One staff in particular, Ms Ameera Shrestha, was outstanding. She was able to advice me on my itinerary and politely answers all my queries. She know the hotel well and was able to arrange suitable accommodation for my family and I (we had various arrangements due to needs). On her own initiative, she made checks to ensure that we had the best stay in Pokhara. Well done, Ameera!

Pros: very clean, very nice and helpful staff, walking distance from shops and restaurants, nice view of mountains Cons: limited hotel parking, a/c wasn’t cold (probably just needed servicing), bathroom floor stays wet because tile is sloped the wrong way I’ve stayed in more expensive hotels in Pokhara, and I am willing to put up with these minor things to save $50-70 a night.

The setting is beautiful - waking up to that view in the morning is amazing- everyone is so helpful - from the second we were collected it was perfect - the rooms are lovely and so well mad with the biggest beds!. The dinner was delicious the variety was great - I have to say the mushrooms we had were insane I would love to know how to make those! we went to trek up to the peace pagoda in the morning which was a great walk - took about 3 hours there and back. I wish we had longer to stay here as I could have done with 3 or 4 nights! we loved that the staff were all local. if you are wanting to be next to pokhara it is a bit further out - we spent one night next to the lake in a cheap hotel to see the area and boat on the lake so for us it was perfect to relax before we went on safari. wish I could go back now!

My father and I got many complimentary the other hotel in Nepal could not give us. Free airport shuttle, snacks during the day, and even free espresso because we checked out too early. If we ever have a chance to return to Pokhara, Pokhara Grande will absolutely be our place to stay.

I would like to highly recommend the Trekkers Inn Pokhara. I had one of their drivers take me from Kathmandu to Pokhara. He was very safe, the car was new and had seatbelts. One of the owners of the Trekkers Inn, who spends most of his time in Kathmandu, personally met me while I was in Kathmandu. I was very impressed with this. He physically came to a random hotel I was at while in Kathmandu. He informed me of the details regarding their taxi service and was also quite interested in my stay in Nepal. Taking his time to meet me in person was a nice gesture. The location of the hotel is great. Very close to the lake plus it’s not directly on the main street, therefore not feeling as busy. Also excellent mountain and lake views from the top balcony. I appreciated the well-kept yard surrounding the hotel. A nice fountain as well as pretty plants and flowers decorate the area. My room at the hotel was big, with a tv, nice bed, large windows, private bathroom with shower, tub and hot water, a phone, refrigerator, small desk and closet. Breakfast was included and was tasty. The staff were great and attentive. Especially Sudarshan, Ram, Shova, Monica and Jibon. They were all very helpful and friendly. Sudarshan is a clown!!!! He will make you laugh. While Shova is an absolute sweetheart with a great big friendly smile :-) You will be missed Shova. Overall, the mixture of humor and great customer service makes for an excellent stay in Nepal. Well I stayed here for 2 nights during a stay in pokhara. I wasn't let down really. The rooms are large, clean, with a refrigerator and balcony. The bathroom was a little worn and the hot water was only warm. The breakfast and food was of good quality and changed on different days. You can have eggs any way you like, there is a buffet of pancakes, naan bread, lentils or chick peas, vegetables, cereals, fruit, curd(yogurt) and toast. The swimming pool was a welcome delight especially in the heat. The staff were friendly too. Definitely one of the better hotels in pokhara.

We stayed this hotel from 5th Nov~ 9th Nov 2016 and we spent really nice time. Although it is a little far from Pokhara city (takes 30 minutes from Pokhara airport by taxi) and wifi connection is not so fast, the view from the hotel and hotel staff are awesome! You can enjoy very beautiful mountains, lakes, and good atmosphere. Hotel staff(Mr. Sujan and Mr. Vino) are really kind, they taught us some areas which we should go and also they arrange some activities. We really appreciate it. Since this hotel was really nice, we want to go Pokhara again!

We stayed here four days. The hotel is located right on the lake with easy access to everything in Pokhara. We had a first floor room with stunning views from the balcony where we sat and watched sunset over the lake. On clear days, the Annapurna peaks can be seen behind the hills. The hotel organized a tour, taxi and flights for us very efficiently. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. There's a restaurant there also on lakeside but we only used it for snacks once. Breakfast was OK buffet style but you can ask for eggs freshly cooked. We highly recommend the hotel and were sorry to leave.

There are two tuki resort one is a new building having deluxe room and above and other is old building having standard room. The two buildings are facing opposite to each would request any one who is booking a room their to thoroughly check the rooms and in which hotel buildings are they going to reside.

This newly built hotel in Pokhara is part of the KBH hotel chain. The location of this hotel is out of Pokhara resort being further along the lake and so it is very peaceful. The walk into the resort is a 15 minutes stroll along a rough potholed road but is not lit part way at night. It is very muddy in the monsoon season. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. We found all staff attentive and helpful. Charges for internet reasonable, though many other hotels offers this service free of charge.

The suite room was spacious and a good home away from home. Service was excellent and management was flexible in changing our booking when we arrived 3 days early. We have stayed in this property 4 times in total and would go back if we went to Pokhara again. Room needs a little refurbishment tho. Nothing major.

We stayed at the Tara hotel for 11 days. We were very happy we chose this hotel and will return again later this year. The entire hotel is clean and comfortable. This would easily be one of the nicest hotels in Pokhara. The showers were so good, very hot and fantastic after a long day out. Easily the best showers we had during our stay anywhere else in Nepal. The food and service was good, we had breakfast every morning and also ordered to our room a few nights, very good service. The hotel also helped us book hotels and transport for other parts Nepal, the prices were good and everything worked smoothly. Thank you Hotel Tara, we will see you again in October.

This is the second time I have stayed here (first time December 2015). For about $19/night (a bit less if you just show up and can bargain well), the City Inn is fine value. Water pressure (in early November when I stayed for three nights) is excellent; hot water = excellent. They have a generator so during critical hours (6am to 9am and 5pm to 8pm), you will have electricity even if there is a power cut in Pokhara sector. Breakfast (included in price) is the usual omelette, trekker potatoes (oily as they are everywhere)...coffee, toast and juice. TV works great (can get CNN and BBC). Reception of WiFi is just ok - when too many people stay here the reception is very slow with frequent line drops - but this happens everywhere in Nepal. They do have their router powered by a generator so even when there is a power cut in Pokhara sector, you can log on. Overall, you can find less expensive in Pokhara (about $10 is the cheapest single room in town), but if your budget allows, the extra money is well spent here. As others mention, the view from the higher floors is great! And not to forget Khem and his staff who are patient, professional and will run to do anything (within reason) for a guest. Khem looks over this hotel (and the other across the street - he manages very well). If any problem, go see Khem - he will sort it out...Overall, I like Khem a lot; and city Hotel is about the best of the mid-range hotels in town. Highly recommended.

I want to say thank you again to the staff of Da Kuti. 1. When I arrived Pokhara it was dark in the night, I cannot find the hotel. I called them and they send a car to pick me up. 2. I threw an old bag but I did not notice my credit card is still in that back. But the staff doule checked the bag and find it. They gave it back to me. They are more thoughtful even than myself. Oh, by the way, the food is also tasty. Thank you, Da Kuti.

We were traveling with a group of five friends in Nepal and Pokhara served us as a base for our trekking and rafting trips. The Hotel the Coast was an ideal place to stay and we booked this hotel three times. A very good decision. The hotel is very hospitable. It is clean and we got a lot of attention. I felt very free as a guest. The owner Tek and his young and very helpful staff, we have closed our hearts. We are very satisfied and have received much more than expected. We would also like to thank our trekking guide Tek and his brother. The Hotel the Coast and its owner has also organized the professional and inexpensive Poonhill trek. A fantastic journey was made possible for us. I would like to advise each guest: also book your tours on the hotel The Coast. Thanks a lot .. we will be back. Very close to all the nice restaurants on Lakeside, this hotel is an ideal pad to explore Pokhara. The staff is helpful and friendly, the breakfast is tasty and the rooms are big and clean. My tip - please take the club room; it is big and has an awesome bathroom. Try and take the lakefacing one because construction of other buildings on the mountain facing side makes it a bit (just a bit) noisy during daytime.

I've visited in nepal the coldest season, december... Before the this hotel, i stayed some hotels that were more expensive than this hotel. But, room was very dirty, some lights already broken down, staffs weren't kindness. But, this hotel is absolutely ditterent!! At first, staff whose name is buspe is very kind. Always kind and smile. He always ask to me what happening, or what do you need, or what do you want. Next, room is very clean. I think that this hotel is renew lately. Maybe, someday.. I will come again with my father because he wants to around annapurna trekking. At that time, I will stay this hotel and call the buspe again. Oh... Near the this hotel, many hotel are construct now.. So a little nosiy. But, at 6 pm. There are finished. So no problem!! Anyway, this is the best hotel in pokhara point.

It was like in a dream, couldn’t believe that it came true in undeveloped Nepal full of bad hotels and services. Breath-catching views from multiple big windows, huge and nicely decorated rooms, some interior design details were also hypnotizing, beautiful garden to walk and look around from the hill top, very helpful and competent staffs. I will definitely come back, it was above all my expectations.

The staff is kind as they helped a lot on my itinerary which helping avoiding redundant time, especially during the last day where there was a "Banda" which means Local people having a strike due to political issue. It is greatly influenced on tourism as shops are closed and transport are all prohibited from operating. Thanks to the staff I got catch the plane on time. There is a nice rooftop area where sun bathing and mountain/ star viewing is available whenever the sky is not hazy. The hotel is located at the northern crowded area with a lot of bars, cafe, agencies etc. I would definitely visit them again if I go to Pokhara again.

First of all very good staffs very polite and helpful. Good property 10 on 10 for cleanliness. Property located in a high up Pokhara and if the weather is Clare view is absolutely amazing unfortunately when we were there it wasn’t in our favour. The WiFi is very poor you only get the connection in lobby area. And on the website says free transfer for airport so I emailed and called then and they kindly arranged a pick up transfer for us from Pokhara airport but when I requested for drop off they charged me 1000Nr which isn’t too bad but there is a misleading this is how I felt! At last I want to thank you to all the staffs for making us feel comfortable in Himalayan front.

This hotel offers complimentary one way airport transfer. Hotel is exactly at best location of lakeside pokhara accessible anywhere within 10 to 15 mins by walk.

We stayed in 2 other hotels which were nice (pokhara choice & the coast) but this was even better!  Everything is clean and the staff are great. They have pour over organic coffee which is awesome and the breakfast was really good - lots of fresh fruits etc  Showers had warm water all the time (seems rare for Nepal) and the room was a good size.  The location is ideal, being a bit further back it is much quiter for a good sleep bur still close enough to the center of the strip. Staff even gave us our request for room with a view and helped us with a taxi to bus Park - highly recommend!
