I'd like to book NH hotels cause ist great breakfast.This one offers also good breakfast.And Location also great very easy to reach from Rotterdam central Station.But the shower room dosn't have doors so it is easy to get water everywhere after you take shower. And it is very weird that you can not set the morning call according to the instruction on the telephone in your room.But it is much mooooore weird that you informed the reception About this,so they record the morning call time for you but next day still quiet Nothing called!!!!! My phone was broken during the time i was in Rotterdam,so without Clock without morning call i can not wake up on time,it is a big Problem. So this really matters!Why the reception didn't give me the morning call????

I came here as a solo traveler in June 2017 to see the city of Rotterdam. I can say it was a nice place to stay. It was in a good location and it was not too far from the central station, so it was easy to get around without public transport if you wanted to. I do recommend renting a bicycle though, since it's the best way to get around in the Netherlands. My room itself was quite spacious. I had a small double room, but it was more than enough space for my suitcase and laptop bag. The only downside was that there was a lack of power outlets in the room, and also no desk so I had to use the bedside table as a desk for my laptop. Overall though, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you want a cheap budget hotel to stay in when you visit Rotterdam.

Fantastic! Great stopover hotel for Rotterdam, within short driving distance to Kinderdijk and the surrounding sightseeing areas. Good service from friendly staff. Strongly recommended.

my stay in nh atlanta rotterdam was quite pleasant. the léocation of the hotel is ideal. it is hardly 10 minutes from rotterdam central station. it is actually the center of rotterdam and one can walk up to the harbour. shopping places are a few feet away. rooms are well kept and the staff is hospitable.

i stayed for 2 nights in manhathan hotel and the location is excellent. this hotel is very easy to find for first time visiotrs like me to rotterdam as is right next to the rotterdam central train station. more importabtlhy, it is also next to the metro station in rotterdam. you can bascially travel to any place in rotterdam from this hotel easily. shopping is great as the hotel is the start of the stretch of shops.

This hotel is close to the Rotterdam Central Station (around 500m - 10 minutes walk with suitcases). We arrived in Rotterdam at around 10am and the friendly staff allowed us to store our luggage before we came back for check-in in the evening. There are 3 elevators in this hotel. Our room is not spacious but it is clean. Electric kettle and hairdryer are provided. Decent light breakfast is being served after 7am during weekend.

Breakfast option to be added. I could not find the breakfast option included. But, you could have food in your room by room service. There is a lot of dishes and price is reasonable. The bar in the hotel, there are many kind of drinks and food. Also the price and service is good. When you visit Rotterdam, i recommed this hotel.

The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the train station and the train ride to Rotterdam airport train station (schipol) is about 2 hours. The hotel has large room with good clean bathrooms and large windows. All hotels in Rotterdam have a no-smoking policy. The restaurant was big and food was average.

Lovely hotel overlooked an old waterway close to Rotterdam Blaak station and the Market Hall. Rooms are clean and simple with no fuss. Staff were fantastic and always went the extra mile to satisfy our needs, usually for warming up baby food or hot milk. Always happy and smiling and with great local knowledge and tips. Personally, we didn’t take the breakfast as there are so many places to eat in Rotterdam and across the road at the market hall. We did enjoy the relaxed bar area for chips, coffee and a few beers. The barman David was a top guy. Overall, a lovely 4 nights at the ibis Rotterdam city centre, which I would Highly recommend

The hotel is very easy to find by way of Rotterdam's excellent tram and metro system. Make sure you buy a Welcome card at airport as this also covers airport bus and gives you a map and substantial discounts at attractions and restaurants. A basic one day travel card is only 7.50 euros and well worth it. The hotel is in a quiet street and caters to business people. Only problem I had was with the room TV; but one of the staff managed to sort it. Mini-bar empty when you arrive, but you can buy contents from reception if you want. Good variety of buffet breakfast and most attentive waiters. Don't miss visiting the 0ld (fifties design) SS Rotterdam or the Maritime Museum. A really different city with loats of interest.

For its design, the cube-shape building is really amazing, so is the view over the irregular window frame. My room can see the old bridge and the river. Walking down the stairs, there is a plaza with day market on it and a large kanthal building with all kind of foods, flowers and goods in it. Over the other side of the stairs, there are coffee shops that you can enjoy your lunch, dinner or a drink before bed. Walking a bit more distant, you can enjoy the breeze and water reflecting the sunshine at the riverbank. The architecture and the location are too good to recommend for a stay. I enjoy it so much that would like to liver in it again if I get a chance to stay at Rotterdam again.

Campanile Rotterdam Oost is abt 8min brisk walking distance from Rotterdam Alexander station. Unfortunately, it is not easy to locate so be prepared with map as we found many at the station do not know where it is (the station does not have information counter and the staff at convenience store do not seem to know). The area which the hotel is located in is peaceful and nice as especially for daily walk to and fro the station. The staff were really friendly and helpful with our travel queries. The room is clean and surprisingly large for the price, although the external common areas can be improved with more cleaning. There is a great shopping mall nearby which houses large departmental stores like Primark and international brands for those would like to chill after a day of visiting the beautiful suburban and cultural sights in the Rotterdam City Centre.

If you looking for the reasonable price of hotel near Rotterdam Central station, I strongly recommend the hotel. It just takes 10mins walk from Rotterdam central station. You can find more closest hotels near the station but I recommend this hotel since the price is reasonable and you can esily access the shopping center. Moreover, you can take breakfirst with warm and clean atmosphere. But if you have a lot of baggage and don`t like walking, it is too far from your choice. Feel the Netherlands while you take a walk to the hotel. Then you don`t feel any complaint.

Pros: I was a solo traveler for my visit to Rotterdam. The hotel was great. The staff were friendly. The location was quite centralized! I walked everywhere, never needing public transportation. Cons: For a five star hotel, the beds were terrible, especially if you have a bad back. They were way to soft and looked like something that would be purchased at Ikea. Forget about laundry services.... It's like 5.5€ for a pair of underwear to be washed and like 9.5€ for a shirt. NO COMPLIMENTARY water in the rooms either.

the hotel is right next to the rotterdam airport terminal, and with the price i paid for the room, 89 euros, it has a very good price /quality ratio.

A good hotel in Rotterdam with reasonable room rates, it's quite convient to go to downtown or Euromast/Denshaven harbour town with tram. And it's just 3 stops from central station by metro. The only pitty is the size of the standard room. But it seems to be normal in Europe.

Feel good to stay in Hilton Rotterdam, worth every single cents. Hotel is located in the center of the city, 5 minutes walk to center station, nearby shopping streets, restaurants, and only 15 minutes walk to the famous "cube house". Wide selection of drinks and nice snacks offer from 6pm-10pm in executive lounge. Free wifi and computers usage in lobby and executive lounge. Great breakfast,feel like 5 star range although the service in the breakfast area is bad as the waitress are always busy and not smiling. The only negative part should be they charge euro20 for in room wifi.

Great little hotel at a fantastic price. Pleasant helpful staff & clean well equipped rooms. Free on-site secure parking. Has a Restaurant & bar with a small menu cooked fresh to order at reasonable prices. Negatives are that it’s too far from bus, tram & train stations. We walked 30 mins to get a Tram to take us another 15 minutes to Vlaardingen Central Train Station. Taxi is around 17 Euro from station to hotel. Also; our bed was not the best, the mattress was worn out & we could feel the bed base beneath, we didn’t sleep great but was only there for 2 nights, in hindsight we should of asked to change rooms to see if mattress was better in a different room! If your taking your car, then try to avoid the rush-hour as the roads nearby can become very congested; it took us 1 hour to complete the last 3 kilometres to the hotel on our arrival.

Modern, very clean and very comfortable. Really spacious room - you even get a working desk. Convenient location close to the highway exit, several shps and fast food restaurants.

Excellent accomodation Everybody of the staff was very hepful and polite Can only give the ss Rotterdam the highest recommendations Connection to Central Rotterdam is very good I used the watertaxi from the Rotterdam to the Veerhaven and from there by streetcar into the City All in all it took me only 20 minutes. The watertaxi can be booked through the reception on board for any specific time Cost is only Euro 4, 50 per person. A BARGAIN.

We had just spent two weeks on a bargein France and Belgium and although charming, we were a bit over being cramped, taking a showers practically on top of the toilet, no room for two people to stand up and get dressed at the same time. A bit fearful that we had made the wrong choice to stay yet again on a boat. We were completely surprised by the H2otel Rotterdam! Large rooms with a mix of antique replica desk and modern bedding with a great large round window (doesn't open though). I could have held a party in the bathroom! Rooms were quiet. Dining area again an eclectic mix of leopard covered Louis XIV style chairs, modern art and a great view of the canal. Soft jazz in the background. If only it had had a tub..... My only complaint and this applied all over Europe is that the material they make the shower flooring of is EXCEPTIONALLY slippery. So just be careful anywhere you stay. I'll be back!!!

Pros - within walking distance to downtown and attractions - value for money considering breakfast is inclusive - friendly staff Cons - basic amenities. No hairdryer. But considering price paid, this hotel is still highly recommended for stay. It is after all categorised as 1 star but it’s much better than 1 Star.

we stay there for five days and most of time we can travel around netherlands and belgium. the location of the hotel is not too bad, but it needs to take two metrolines to the central station. the room is basically clean and the staff is helpful. reasonable price with simple breakfast. although it is not in the centrum area which has a lot of attractions, it certainly provides a good accommodation and less money.

Very nice hotel the owner Jan en his spouse Gabriela made our trip extra nice and give us full of attention. Rooms with nice view. Super fine shower and bathroom.The owners have put a lot of work in to their hotel. Really a good place to stay. Centre at 3 stops metro in the middle or the city. i stayed in hotel van walsum for 2 nights. i am very satisfied with my stay overall. the location is good, about 4 tram stops from the central station and is in a quite area, but close to the main shopping area and the attrations of rotterdam. the breakfast is also good and make a good start for the day. the wi-fi is free and the connection is good. rotterdam is small and can be reached on foot. the museum quarter, close to the hotel, has a few small museums worthy of visit.

The hotel was perfect for us. It was not right in the centre, however, with a couple of bikes everything was easily accessible. Our room was loft style and was very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
