san diego mixes both old world charm and new age effieciency in a grand city. transportation and shopping areas are good, ppl are v friendly and rule abiding.
I would do more then 5 if i was to really get to enjoy and look around, San Diego is a impressive city, lots of lovely people.
San Diego has just about everything you could want in a city. Great downtown nightlife area in the Gaslamp district.
I am really impressed by the multi-options of the food and restaurant in San Diego downtown. Gaslamp quarter is a must for visiting.
quite a comfort city , but nothing special beside the few attractions sucs as zoo , sea world, uss midway, and etc
San Diego is very close to Los Angeles, it took only one hour-driving. Recommended for getting another sight of america as here you can find many Mexican people as it's so close to Mexico City.
There are so many things to do! outside of the Gaslamp area it's not convenient to taxi everywhere- make use of the trains/trolleys where possible.
Read "Invention and Reinvention: The Evolution of San Diego's Innovation Economy" for a full report. Available at a discount on Amazon.
Beautiful city, I'm definitely considering my next and longer stay. It's much quieter than the cities in used to therefore I felt as f I could unwind and just enjoy my stay.
Picturesque, tranquil city. Very safe. Lots of history. Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, and the Gaslamp Quarter all provide family/group fun and entertainment.
SD was such a lovely city! Great food, a nice 'town' feeling and a lot of things to see and do. Visit the zoo, drive to mission bay and have a fish taco and work on your tan, drive 20 min south to Las American Premium Outlet for shopping etc.
A city with zoo and safari for animals; nice harbour and cruises to explore; relax to dine in a restaurant by the seaside; close to Tijuana for mexico experience.
Surprisingly clean and attractive city with good sightseeing. Weather was good even in December. Not very crowded.
Party town. Outlets just by the Mexican immigration. Whale watching. Beaches - sun, sand & the sea. The Zoo & LegoLand for the young children
This was my first real look at San Diego and the area. I found the people to be very friendly and a surpisingly LGBT and alternative friendly community.
The transit system in San Diego is easy to understand and use. It's also very cheap. Spend some time working out the system and you could basically travel around San Diego quite cheaply without a car.
Not a bad place is your expectations aren't very high. Nice bars and clubs, and good nightlife for the younger set.
