Conrad Seoul
Yeouido,Seoul - View on map
"Conrad Seoul Hotel is located in a very beautiful places with wide roads, parks and a big river. as to those love jogging, it is a perfect place. The mall under it is modern and there are so many food choices in the supermarket. Most of the employees in the mall can speak English. The staff of Conrad Seoul Hotel are ready to offer help any time. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. It's a pity for me to stay a night there. If I have a chance to go back to Korea, it will be my first choice. "

Millennium Hilton Seoul
Myeong-dong,Seoul - View on map
"About 8 mins walk to Seoul Subway Station, Millenium is strategically located. It's got good ambience and relatively quiet surroundings, but with the convenience of restaurants and shops located within walking distance. To go to Seoul subway station, we had to go down the stairs from the backdoor of the hotel, which opens you to a nice garden area. During winter, the stairs could be slippery though. As we went there during winter, we were able to make a little snowman in the garden area just outside the back door of the hotel. Most of the hotel staff speak English and this is definitely a plus point for English-speaking tourists. The breakfast is great, with a spread of fresh juices, smoked salmon, pastry and dairy. However, it was the most expensive hotel we stayed during our trip to Seoul."

Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong

"Right between Jogyesa Temple and the artsy street of Insadong, you can start your adventure to Korea. At the time of the booking the hotel was still incomplete, but I expect it to become a more high-class hotel in the future."

Mondrian Seoul Itaewon
Itaewon,Seoul - View on map
"Well designed, perfectly operated, friendly and attentive staff. I'm here on my own, and I can't stress enough how refreshing it is to have staff say hello, remember me, and treat me like a human being. Was a bit worried about location as it's a reasonable walk to the nearest subway. However, there's enough choice of F&B within the hotel development, that actually I don't need to leave. "

More about Seoul

Seoul is a city of enchanting history and economic success, a destination worthy of both the leisure and business traveler. International travelers are introduced to the city via the Seoul Incheon International Airport. Short term travelers have the option of modern airport hotels, but it is only a 30-minute ride into the city from here.

Those looking to experience the city’s culture have much going for them. The highlight here would be Changdeok-gung, a royal palace dating back to 1405 and a World Heritage Site. Between the grand sites are a collection of royal shrines, Buddhist temples, and museums. The DMZ, or de-militarized zone separating North and South Korea, makes for a worthy day-trip as well.

Shopping is undoubtedly available in abundance here. The areas around Insadong Street are some of the most famous in South Korea, offering gift shops, art galleries, and traditional tea shops. Myeong-dong offers up-market shopping amongst a collection of Western-styled hotels. In Gangnam, visitors will find the upscale dining and entertainment venues. This district also boasts the city’s latest shops and hotels.
