Angkor Pearl Hotel
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"Angkor Pearl A Pearl at Siem Reap Angkor pearl hotel surpassed our expectations. It was located in a quiet street but very near the main road and 7-10 mins walk to pub street and night market. Everything is within 5mins walking distance (bank, Lucky mall, KFC, spas), but the street is not too busy and noisy. They dont have a lift so those with problems going up stairs should stay on the ground floor but the staff are there to help you with your bags. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and furnishings consistent with its old khmer motif. You get a welcome drink, a fruit plate in the room, complete toiletries, fresh smelling towels, compli bottled water, coffee and tea and a pair of rubber slippers. There was a ref, TV with cable and the AC worked fine. There's wifi and 3 computers at the lobby. The bathroom was clean although a little old. the bath tub had scratch marks and the shower curtain should be changed. Unfortunately there was a construction ongoing at the building beside the hotel that you could hear the metal works during the day. The staffs were very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was impressive for the price we paid with soup, bread, butter, jams, eggs, rice, pancakes, several main courses, fruits and flowing juice, tea and coffee. they changed the main course every day. They have their own tuktuk and a car with driver that you can hire. I think the best asset of this hotel is their resident driver Sam. He was very nice and very fluent in English. He picked us up from the airport with his camry, brought us to the hotel and took us to pub street. The next day, he took us on a tour to all the temples with free ice cold water and towels in his car, then he took us to a restaurant for lunch, brought us to a dinner place and back to the hotel after dinner all for $25 for 5 persons! He even arranged for our taxi to Phnom penh and reserved our bus ticket from PP to Ho chi minh. The best cambodian i ever met at a great hotel in siem reap."

Sabara Angkor Resort & Spa
Kruos,Siem Reap - View on map
"Firstly, the staff at Sabara are amazing, so courteous, friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. This is one thing you will find with Cambodian people and Sabara is a perfect example of this. The hotel itself is very nicely presented with a great pool which gets the sun all day if you want to take a day or two out relaxing. The food is amazing! and about as good as you can get as a tourist, I've stayed in other much larger 5 star hotels in Siem Reap and the food at them doesn't compare to the quality at Sabara. The hotel is very new and the last few rooms were getting finished off but to be honest that made my stay more enjoyable as most of the time I had the pool to myself which I enjoyed very much. The beds are extremely comfortable and the best I've slept on in S.E Asia. It's a little outside of the main Pub Street and Old Market area (10-15min) but the hotel put on a free return tuk-tuk service whenever you want to go to the centre. Thank you Sabara - I will be back!"

Apsara Residence Hotel
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"I went with my family including my parents, and booked 3 double rooms. The staff at the hotel were kind enough to upgrade one of the rooms to villa for my parents. The service was excellent, staff were very very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean. The location was great as well, just 5 mins walk to pub street/old market. Just 1 minor thing to point out - the sockets in the rooms cannot cater for 3-pin plugs, which is quite unusual. I have stayed in a couple other hotels in Siem Reap and am currently working in Phnom Penh. All such places have 3-pin sockets, and due to such reason, we did not bring any international adapter, thinking that the sockets in this hotel would cater for 3-pin plugs as well. That said, the hotel staff were nice enough to allow us to charge our power banks overnight at the reception desk area, which we greatly appreciate. Thanks again! Overall a great stay and it is definitely value for money."

Le Tigre Hotel
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"i loved this place. the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the pool was a welcome respite after a long day of hiking/biking and the complimentary breakfast exactly what i was looking for. i've seen some other reviews that mention it's a "bit far" or that the dirt road was a big problem. i disagree: it's a 5-8 minute walk (or $1 tuk tuk ride) to the center of evening entertainment in town and the market and, while the dirt road is bumpy, it is not that bad (at least in the dry season!). i'd recommend le tigre to anyone and stay there again, should i find myself in siem reap."

HARI Residence & Spa

"We had a wonderful stay at Hari residence Hotel and spa. Even they managed to pick us up at the airport. Our flight was delayed but the driver waited for us with our name in his hands. When we arrived Kimnang was the one who acquainted us with our bookings, even escorted us to our rooms. She was the best. Made us feel like vip. U could ask her anything and she could provide the info u need. The hotel was awesome. Pool, restaurant, gym and spa everything is on the 5th floor. The amenities we had in our room was amazing, we had our own tea sets, coffee pods machine, bath robes... bathroom essentials.. etc. Thought the lobby was a bit warm. But not too overpowering. Maybe thats the style here in Siem Reap. We had our experience ar other hotel in siem reap with similar style. Location is not far from pub street and night market. U could walk (7-8mins) or grab a tuk tuk. Use e-hailing Theres a small french cafe just in front of the hotel, they had this delicious curry chicken sandwich."

Tara Angkor Hotel
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"This hotel was absolutly exellent in every single way, the room was big with a huge king size bed. Breakfast was amazing! Honestly I have never seen a buffet breakfast this good and it was included in the room rate, they have fresh fruits, pancakes, bacon, stirfry, theres a chief that makes fresh omelets and Khmer soup that's not to be missed in front of you, And so much more. Honestly the hotel felt a little to posh for me and my girlfriend at times. It was definatly one of the fanciest hotels I have stayed in. The staff were all great. Its a 2 USD tuk tuk ride to town, or you can get a tuk tuk to the temples all day for 12-15 USD depending on the circuit, the tuk tuk drivers will always try to get you as a customer the next day, they will be pushy and anoying at times. So we alwayr tried to pick the more humble drivers that wernt in your face and also had different drivers every day to spread the money around a little. If you are here to see the temples of Angkor I would definatly recommend at least the 3 day pass as there are so many temples and Angkor wat itself can take all day if you are into this kind of history, bayon temple is not to be missed and also the prymid temples are pretty mind blowing. 1 day just wont kut it in my opinion. Anyway if you want a super fancy hotel at a super reasonable price, stay here. From my experience most hotels in siem reap will be amazing value for money. Everything is very cheap in siem reap but don't bartter he locals down too low on things and try to tip what you can afford as they aren't very rich in Cambodia, 1 doller goes along way to them. So best to be generous while your here and the people will appreciate it. Cambodians are generally super friendly also. A smile goes a long way."

Sarai Resort and Spa
Sala Kamreuk,Siem Reap - View on map
"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Sarai. We booked through AGODA because i read their good reviews. I am glad to write that all the good reviews are true. Our booking with agoda did not include airport pick up. I tried to contact the hotel because we will be arriving late at night. They replied immediately that they wikk pick us up at no charge. Philip was there with our name on a board and a van waiting for us. There was cold water and cold towel. The hotel was about 30 minutes away. On our way, Philip asked for my booking details and check us in through his tablet. So when we got to the hotel, the front desk asked for a copy of our passports and after signing was given the key to our room. The room was big. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. There were toiletries, hair dryer, robes and tub. Breakfast was a selection of western and asian. Plus bread, fruits and yogurt, and your choice of coffee or fruit juice. The staff were all polite and gracious all the time. Whether its early morning, mid day or late at night. Every thing is one tuktuk away at $2. Mr vanna , tuktuk #5 was very helpful. Dont bother changing your money at the airport can pay in $ in Siem Reap. Special mention to Ziffan from the front desk who did not tire of our questions on where to eat and go. Oh tickets tothe national museum is available at the hotel with free pick up. Sokunthea of the goat tree restaurant majes good drip coffee. And to Philip. Thanks guys for making our siem reap vacation a wonderful experience. Angkor wat was magnificent!"

"I loved my stay during my short stint in Siem Reap. The staff were very welcoming. Because I wanted to catch the sunrise at Angkor Wat, the staff thoughtfully prepared my breakfast for me to eat while on the way to Angkor Wat. The room was lovely and I love coming back to my room to find a different animal made out of towels lying across my bed. All in all, a fantastic stay. Will definitely be back!"

Khmer Mansion Residence

"Khmer Mansion Residence exceeded our expectations! My friend celebrated her birthday in Siem Reap and we decided to book 5star hotel. The value of money is really great. They offered good deal and their service is way above that. We were welcomed during check in and provided welcome drinks (that’s one of the best welcome drink I’ve tasted). Their staff also helped us a lot with everything. I like the room and everything this hotel has to offer. I will definitely recommend this to all my friends visiting Siem Reap. They also provided us cake for my friends birthday and a little souvenir when we check out. Definitely one of the best experience!"

More about Siem Reap

Siem Reap is one of Southeast Asia’s friendliest tourist cities. Located north of Tonle Sap Lake in western Cambodia, this city attracts numerous travelers with its budget accommodation and ancient temple sites renowned throughout the world.

The Angkor Archaeological Park is the city’s biggest draw. Its centerpiece is Angkor Wat, and also included is Angkor Thom and Pre Rup, a crumbling 10th century Khmer temple. Covering hundreds of square kilometers, this site will surely keep many visitors busy for days. In between visits to these ancient sites, Pub Street provides excellent mingling and dining opportunities. Regional treats such as snake and frog can be sampled in a karaoke joint or a classy Khmer restaurant. Eco-tours are also popular in the area and make for great tropical excursions. Visitors can take a peek into the city’s past as well at the sobering land mine museum. Markets open throughout the day and night provide some excellent local shopping opportunities.

International flights to Siem Reap land at Siem Reap International Airport, a 15-minute drive from the center of town. Hotels along Siem Reap Airport Road have the fastest access to the airport and are still convenient to the town center and Angkor Wat.
