"Okay, so it's not the best hotel in Siem Reap, but it is fantastic value for money, especially for short stays. There is so much to see in Siem Reap, you don't need all the facilities that the big hotels / resorts provide. It is close to the markets and Pub Street. It does have a pool, free wi-fi in all areas, a room safe, and all the facilities necessary. It doesn't have car parking, child minding and all those extra trimmings. The staff were fantastic and helpful. I wish that we had stayed our full 4 nights here rather than moving to a resort after 1 night and saved heaps to be able to spend more on the fantastic food around the city. The beds are very firm / hard, but this seems to be normal in SE Asia. Our room had a balcony and we were entertained watching the streetscape below and trying to figure out the local road rules. Would definitely stay here again as the value for money is fantastic."

"Our stay at Lub d Cambodia was fantastic. We booked a private room that was facing the pool, which can be quite noisy at night. We requested for a different room and it was granted immediately. The staff was very friendly; they took care of all our concerns and answered our questions well. The place was located near Pub Street and other interesting places in Siem Reap. Getting around on bike, which is available at the hostel for rent, is the best way to see the town. We’ll definitetly go back!"

"Firstly, the staff at Sabara are amazing, so courteous, friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. This is one thing you will find with Cambodian people and Sabara is a perfect example of this. The hotel itself is very nicely presented with a great pool which gets the sun all day if you want to take a day or two out relaxing. The food is amazing! and about as good as you can get as a tourist, I've stayed in other much larger 5 star hotels in Siem Reap and the food at them doesn't compare to the quality at Sabara. The hotel is very new and the last few rooms were getting finished off but to be honest that made my stay more enjoyable as most of the time I had the pool to myself which I enjoyed very much. The beds are extremely comfortable and the best I've slept on in S.E Asia. It's a little outside of the main Pub Street and Old Market area (10-15min) but the hotel put on a free return tuk-tuk service whenever you want to go to the centre. Thank you Sabara - I will be back!"

"I highly recommend this place! The hotel staff were great - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are nice - including the outdoor pool. There is a cheap internet place across the street and also Lucky Mall which has a grocery store, ice cream shop, ATM, etc. Hotel is a 15 minute walk to town (or $1 US tuk tuk ride). Definitely head to town (Pub Street) for dinner. There are a lot of great, inexpensive places to eat (and drink). We really enjoyed our stay here and in Siem Reap and highly recommend the hotel. "

"Our first visit to Cambodia was made even more special by the amazing staff at King Rock Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathtub is absolutely amazing! The lovely swimming pool is a necessity especially after a day exploring the temples. The hotel is located about ten minutes walk from the main strip (Pub Street) and markets. There are two convenience stores within a stone's throw away, restaurants too (and wow, the food is amazing, whether Asian or Western). We were impressed by the helpfulness and kindness of the staff at King Rock and the attention to detail they gave us, especially with the children. For breakfast, they serve a la carte when there are not many guests and buffet style when they're busy. We arrived when it was a bit quiet and my eldest daughter (she's 6) loved the chicken noodle soup for breakfast which they always prepared for her. Midway through our stay, it got really busy so they switched to buffet breakfasts. But, alas! No chicken noodle soup! My daughter was disappointed but was happy to eat the pastries instead. A few minutes into our breakfast, the staff came bearing a bowl of chicken noodle soup on a tray especially for my girl! And they did this for us every morning without fail. Special thanks to Mr. Witchit, Mr. Bonat, Miss Nich and to the chef who made our breakfast every day, I forget his name, for your kindness and your helpfulness. This boutique hotel will be on our favourites list! And we hope to come back again one day soon!"

"We have absolutely enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this hotel. Memoire d Angkor has exceeded all of our expectations that a boutique hotel could offer, the BEST i have experienced so far. Hotel's location: 9/10 Hospitality: 9/10 Ambience: 7/10 (some renovation outside the hotel is ongoing) Comfort: 10/10 (GREAT beddings and pillows makes our return trip from Angkor a relaxing one) Room size: SPACIOUS WIFI: 9/10 Breakfast: 8/10 Minor touches: free laundry, mini bar service. They even decorate our room to a special honeymoon ambience ;) Being a first timer in Cambodia, this hotel has made our stay/ honeymoon the best experience ever. From our arrival reception by Mr. Pisid in Siem Reap International Airport to friendly hotel reception by Ms. Samlei (plus points: accommodating our early check-in; warm welcome refreshments; room/hotel briefing; Angkor Complex ground arrangements), friendly and knowledgeable Mr. Chan Sophanet (great hospitality; passionate & informative guide on Cambodian history, Khmer empire and Angkor complex appreciation; great refreshments on our return trip from angkor) our tuk tuk guide Mr. Cheng (humble, patient with our quirky needs) and not to forget, Mr. Khim (attentive banquet boy). All of the above names are worth mention as they have made our stay a memorable one. Our 5 days stay in Siem Reap is a very, very short trip and we will definitely come to this hotel again. Thank you Memoire d Angkor Boutique Hotel, a hidden gem of Siem Reap"

"We stayed here for 2 nights. The lobby was quite dark and we got the room in the old building even if we requested for the new building and we got the 1st floor despite requesting for a high floor. Room was clean and complete. We had a nice view of the pool from our balcony which made up for us being on the 1st floor of the hotel (better pool view). I stayed already in 2 other hotels in siem reap and I can definitely say that their breakfast is the best. It was something my bf and i look forward to when we wake up. Though most hotels offer free breakfast, not all offer buffet type breakfast. Another thing we appreciated was the fact that we checked out 12noon but since our flight was still 1030pm that day, the hotel still allowed us to use their pool and shower at the spa area when we got back from sightseeing. good service.
