The Sunshine Coast is well worth the time for a relaxing getaway. With the variety of activities - beaches, shopping areas, nature reserves/zoos, museums and scenic drives, there is always something to do, even if it is sitting in a cafe area watching the people go past.
The Sunshine Coast is a great family destination with a laid back feel and your choice of doing nothing much at all or being very busy with all the markets, shopping and natural attractions.
Very good road conditions, so many things and enjoyments to do, perfect place to go, the only disadvantage is the cost too much.
Great spot for friendly relaxed locals. Good food great beaches, Island adventures and fresh water waterfalls all close by
The Sunshine Coast is about 1 hr north of Brisbane and is a lot quitter than the Gold Coast. The beaches are great and the restaurants are excellent.
There is plenty for all in this pretty place. Shopping, beaches and plenty of restaurants. If you want to just relax in your apartment you can do that with food delivered.
We went from Australia Zoo to Maroochydore to stay for one night-found the cinemas, it was in the centre of a very lively restaurant and water area-our favourite chocolate place San Churro was there, the Aztec chili chocolate drink is thick and wonderful-cinema has lots of theatres-best place in Maroochydore
Sunshine Coast has many attractive beach and water sports for tourists to explore and enjoy. The beaches are clean and the locals are very friendly.
Explore both the beaches and the hinterland. The beach is great place to have fun in the sun and the hinterland has good mountain views such as the glasshouse mountain.
