Find Hotels in Texel, Netherlands

Wij zijn 4 dagen in dit hotel verbleven in de zomerperiode (hoogseizoen). De kamer en badkamer waren ruim. De badkamer was ook goed schoon. Pluspunten: Mooie ligging in het centrum van De Koog. Eigen parkeergelegenheid. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Mooie grote kamer met grote badkamer. Minpunten: Veel geluidsoverlast in de nacht van jongeren. Handdoeken werden op ons verzoek dagelijks verschoond, maar we kregen steeds onvoldoende handdoeken terug. Dit gebeurde meerdere keren.

Love the quiet area surrounded by so much greenery around. Also very close to the beach which is excellent. Love the breakfast too.

English conversion of menu would of been a bonus as my dutch was very limited to greetings and basic words.

This is not strictly speaking a hotel but is more of a b&b as they only serve a buffet breakfast and no other meals. There is no night porter or facilities during the night and no fridge, microwave or kettle in your room. You can hear the other guests (above and in the room next door) doing their ablutions during the night and I could hear music from a room. some four doors away. at the end of the hall where I was staying crystal clear. That said, the accommodation is very good and cleanliness is second to none. the staff and owners are very efficient and personable but you do have to travel a bit to find something to do other than going for long walks on the beach or dunes. The photo on this site is also misleading as the hotel is situated in a much more cramped location and is obviously shot through a fish-eye lenses.

I needed a room for a night while I wondered in the wilderness of Texel. This Hotel was perfect. Easy to find, near the centre, clean and good breakfast.

The apartment didn't have any bed sheets or towels. We were not told this anywhere so we asked the guy and he said he would give us some. Thought it was nice of him but... at check out he was angry and wanted to charge 40€ for sheets 14€ for being a tourist then €168 instead of €135 our tax invoice told us when asked why he said his Computer was down so he roughly said that price. Its really sad that a company can try fool people and lie like this. I would recommend ppl go to a proper hotel and pay the same fee at the end at the beginning and get the genuine service.
