Its expensive but its normal value in tokyo for a hotel. But the location is really great as it will give you the best access for all other attraction in tokyo. Hotel is also a partner of Disneyland and they have FREE shuttle to disneyland park. All in all its the best hotel to stay in shinjuku japan.

The room was very spacious compared to orher 5-star hotels in Tokyo. Hotel like this would cost much more but through agoda i got pretty good deal so i definitely enjoyed my stay at Cerulean hotel.

The superior twin non-smoking room is considered a decent size compared to most smaller rooms in Tokyo hotels. The Daiba train station is right in front of the door step of the hotel. Getting in to Tokyo city merely take about 15 minutes, ie from Daiba station to Simbashi sation, Simbashi is a major connection to other lines of the subway system in Tokyo city so it's fairly convenient. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom comes with a full size tub which is rare in Tokyo hotels. The room is newly renovated, with a nice partial view of the Rainbow bridge. The hotel lobby is grand. There is a convenient stall in the hotel (operates 24 hours). The hotel provides free shutter bus to and flow Disneyland and Disneysea (half an hour bus ride, got to book online in advance). I would definitely return to this hotel for my next Tokyo trip and recommend this hotel to friends.

Absolutely the BEST place to stay if your not doing tours and just "wingin" it by yourselves. Subway was about a one minute walk from the hotel! And every city we went to was less than 10-15 minute subway rides. Ginza and daiba have the best shopping spots and akihabara is electronic and anime central. Roppangi is the bar/Clubs night life City. Tokyo tower is a must see, you can see the whole city from the observation deck. Don't take a taxi for anything, use the subways and enjoy the walking you do there. it's definitely a work out but the places you can find on foot are worth it. the most expensive part about our trip was food, but we did so much in our 4 days we barely got hungry so only ended up eating about once a day. But Starbucks and mcdonalds are right outside the hotel for a quick coffee/snack to take on the sub. Subways were not hard to figure out if u can follow a map and pronounce names easily. All we did was tell the ticket masters at the train station the city we were trying to go to and he'd tell us which ticket to purchase. Very very inexpensive by the way. Of course it adds up but definitely less than renting a car and paying for parking everywhere u went. The hotel was very pretty, our room wasn't too small, pretty big for Japanese standards. Bed was semi uncomfortable but we'd be so tiered by the time we made it back to the hotel that it felt like heaven. Don't eat at the hotel, too expensive. And also don't eat at the buffet in Tokyo dome that's located across the water fountain in the shopping area behind the hotel. Without showing us a menu with prices They had us pay AFTER eating their nasty cafeteria type food and for two people came out to be about 65 dollars. If your al Italian lover like us capricciosa located in that same area is some of the best Italian food I've had in Japan. Being from up north in the states, Tokyo made me feel very at home and I did not want to leave. We loved it so much were planning to come back in December

Whenever I stay at a hotel, it is always the staff that makes a difference. The counter staff, concierge and bellboy remembered me when I returned from my outing. I like their personalized greeting. The general manager's personal note and little gifts like Bvlgari chocolates and traditional Japanese red bean cakes inside the room also made a huge difference. Among these, I wish to personally commend the male middle age concierge (who I unfortunately forgot to take his name). He was very professional while providing me advice for my trip, and always took care of little details to ensure my trip is perfect. The hotel is perfectly located in the beautiful Tokyo Station which is a tourist attraction by itself. As it is located in the Tokyo Station, you can easily travel to places like Shinjuku or Shibuya, or out of Tokyo (this is a huge plus point since I needed to travel to Yokohama, Kyoto and so on). It is also located near the Imperial Palace which is also a major attraction. The hotel has a lot of famous restaurants located within, and the toiletries are the branded Gilbert and Soames. I will definitely come back for my next stay and I will strongly recommend this best Tokyo hotel to everyone. Last but not least, the general manager sent us off personally during my last day. I was so touched.

Before the departure to Tokyo we needed a driving license translation in Japanese and the hotel arranged this for free. We arrived too early for check-in, about noon. The staff was sorry we had to wait two hours in the beautiful bar with garden fountain view and upgraded us for free in a marvellous 60 sq mt suite with Tokyo Tower panoramic view. The hotel and the service are really 5 stars. There are two subway stations very close to the hotel (Akabanebashi - 3 min walk, Shibakoen - 5 min walk) plus free shuttle to Hamamatsucho railway station, which make the transportation very easy. Don't miss Katsura Kobe Restaurant on the 1st basement. In two weeks in Japan we ate 5 times Kobe and Hida beef and this one was by far the best. The Kobe steak is very expensive, about 130 Euro for 150 gr, but after it the best filet mignon or prime rib will seem to you without taste. The next time we'll go to Tokyo we'll stay definitely in The Prince Park Tower.

We stayed 5 nights in a superior twin room. Our room was bright, comfortable and well appointed. Tokyo hotel rooms are small, but this room was bigger than most and used its space well. It was easy to live comfortably out of our suitcases here. Bathroom was lovely and well equipped. The hotel was convenient to at least two Metro stations (Shimbashi and Gonzaga) and an easy walk to the Imperial Palace and Tsukiji Market (among other tourist highlights). Shopping, restaurants and nightlife all conveniently nearby while not in a loud area. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. We did not eat breakfast or other meal at the hotel. Would strongly recommend for anyone considering the Ginza district.

This is a wonderful five star hotel located across from the Imperial Palace, close to Tokyo station, and near several underground arcades (malls) full on wonderful retail shops and eating places. It is also in the heart of the business section. The rooms are large, comfortable, and contain every conceivable need for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The staff is excellent, often anticipating our needs before we said anything and willing to accommodate every need. I had one small business concern getting a document to be signed, scanned, and emailed, which was accomplished for me without charge and expeditiously. This request, and every one we made, was completed graciously and then followed up on the next day to make sure it had been satisfied. Only issue was that we were unable to get reservations at the restaurants and the room service menu was rather sparse. We like to dine late in the Italian style, but apparently here and everywhere in Japan that is not the custom. Most restaurants close at 10 pm. But I would not consider staying anywhere else in Tokyo. The Palace is a great hotel. If I worked in Tokyo I would want to live there.

The location, if you are visiting Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, is amazing. You are about a 3 minute walk or bus ride from Bayside monorail station. There are many amenities if you are planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel, but we didn't. Also, the service is excellent. That said, this was our third hotel in our two weeks in Japan, so my expectations were high. After staying in two other spotless hotels, I was a bit disappointed with our room at the Hotel Okura. We asked for a non smoking room and got one that smelled like stale smoke. The room was huge compared to other hotels in Japan, but not as spotless. After staying in two perfectly clean hotels in Japan, little things like stains in the carpet and cracked tiles were very noticeable. These things weren't enough for me to ask to change my room, so I didn't. The staff was excellent, so I'm sure they would have tried to accommodate if I did. Overall, the hotel was fine, and the location and price were so reasonable, that I would return if we went back to Tokyo Disney. I may also look into the other official hotels nearby before returning though.

Loved this boutique hotel which answered all our needs for leisure travel in Tokyo. Well located and walking distance to Harajuku, Cat Street and nearby back streets and good transfport on metro outside the door. Brilliant gym and good spa facility too. Breakfast sgtraight forward Western though Japanese dishes were oddly underwhelming. Nice bar on top floor with international restaurant, We did not try the food but the cocktails etc were well-priced for Toyko central! Big array of restaurants and bars right outside the hotel as well and front desk staff were generally obliging. Would stay again, you can even st Mt Fuji from the deluxe stadium view room on a clear day!

Booked this hotel for my anniversary in Tokyo (Tower view). STUNNING. The tower is actually alot closer than I have expected, staying at the 47th (there's only 47/48/49th floor). Room was excellent and I had stated that it was an anniversary and hotel mgmt actually hand drew a card and a small plant as a gift. Very warm of them. I was lucky that the 1 night stay had the best sky in Sept, so the view was just too amazing. Also went to the Rooftop bar, although the bar isn't facing the Tokyo tower, we can see another side of Tokyo. Only thing I would say is, they should make car-park complimentary for guests that stayed. (they have a huge garage)

Hotel is very well managed with excellent service, great food and good location. It is best value for five star hotel in Tokyo. The only weakness is the concierge, the ladies working there seems not as well trained as other Western hotel, can not really either communicate or understand Western guests’ taste or preference.

This review is long because I wanted to be detailed, but if it’s too long… TL/DR (too long/didn’t read): Japan is a country with a high standard of service and a high level of food quality; this hotel is world-class even by those standards. Do not hesitate to book here; do not waste time considering other hotels. Unbelievable location, décor, rooms, food, and service. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Located in the Chiyoda area, which is central Tokyo, the hotel is in the business district, very close to the National Diet Building and Library, the Prime Minister’s Official Residence, and only a few blocks from the park where the Imperial Palace is. It is a very quiet and peaceful area, but there isn’t much to do in walking distance, besides restaurants and some shopping. However, the hotel has a subway station IN THE BASEMENT. In. The. Building! So, we literally went everywhere we wanted in Tokyo right from the convenience of our hotel. Getting around was amazingly easy. So, even if you wanted to hang out in the more youthful areas of the city (Shinjuku, Roppongi, Shibuya) or somewhere else, the hotel is super easy to get to. Hotel staff will call a white-glove taxi to the entrance for you if needed, and they can probably help you procure a rental bike if desired, although I didn’t do that. Also in the hotel, is a 7-eleven (which are amazing in Japan, search “7 eleven japan” to learn more, convenient place to exchange currency), a florist, and a pastry shop. Please note that if you decide to ride the train during Tokyo’s legendary rush hour, you will literally be crammed into the train by the train station staff. This is THE BEST hotel I ever stay in Tokyo in the last 15 years! The room is huge in Tokyo hotel standard, breath taking view, excellent service, nice pool, only downside is pricey but its definitely worth it.

Hotel New Otani Tokyo is not the best 5 stars hotel in Tokyo but one of the most well known prestige hotel. Staffs are great, and rooms are fairly big. Most popular is its summer time night pool. One of the very few out door hotel pool in Tokyo. Great place for a weekend get away. I will definitely go again for a romantic stay soon!

For our first trip to Tokyo, we wanted a luxury hotel that wasn't part of an international chain - something in a neighbourhood that would be less tourist-y and more "local". Our son's Japanese colleagues suggested the Meguro Gajoen and although it wasn't on our travel agency's list of Tokyo hotels, we decided to go for it. Turns out it was the perfect choice. First of all, the hotel décor is absolutely sumptuous with magnificent mural frescoes and other Japanese artwork everywhere you look (even the bathrooms!). A cascading waterfall, tiny bridges over little brooks ... the lobby is exquisite. You feel immediately like you are in the heart of Japan. The week we were there, there was a floral art exhibition and Japanese aficionados turned out to see the creations of one of Japan's most popular artists. The hotel is a popular spot for weddings, so we enjoyed watching joyful families arrive for wedding ceremonies. The hotel breakfast was fabulous, with Japanese and European choices. And the huge rooms are beautifully appointed with high quality materials and amenities - top notch luxury. I can't say enough about this hotel! Add to that its location 5 minutes from the subway. Meguro Subway station seems off the beaten track, but in fact it's very convenient. The Yamanote line runs around the city and takes directly you to all the best tourist sites. It's an above-ground train line that is much more pleasant than the subway. There are tons of restaurant options at Meguro and even more at the next stop Ebisu. These are areas of Tokyo that are more residential, so you see families and people going about their business - as opposed to Shinjuku, Ginza and the Tokyo station areas that are more for business.

We prefer to stay in Ginza when it Tokyo, but we wanted to experience the vibe in Shinjuku so we booked a night here at Keio Plaza. If you are decided about staying in Shinjuku, this is a great option. Service was great. We ran into a bit of inconvenience when there was suddenly no water coming from the faucet just as my husband and I were getting ready for bed (close to midnight). The hotel staff was responsive. Ultimately, they could not fix the problem and we had to move to another room. It was not the best experience, but the staff was attentive and apologetic -- and the when we checked out, the manager was there to offer his apologies and handed us with a special token. We appreciated this -- because not everything will go perfectly all the time, but how the staff responds to the situation is what makes all the difference. If you like cocktails, make sure to try Brilliant, a wonderful bar right inside the hotel. They make excellent and reasonably priced cocktails.

We stayed at The Prince Gallery for 4 nights and thought it was a great hotel. The rooms are new and modern, and the shower is very nice. We had a view of the city and Mt. Fuji from our room. The staff is very nice and eager to help. We were heading to Osaka next and my husband wanted tickets to an event that was sold out online. The concierge was able to get us the tickets and arranged for us to pick them up when we arrived in Osaka. The hotel felt less westernized than some of the other luxuryI hotels in Tokyo and Osaka, which we liked. One downside is there was only 1 english channel on tv. Not a huge deal since we were out of the room most of the time, but would have been nice to have more options in that respect. overall it was an excellent hotel (especially for the price) and we would definitely stay there again.

Arrived tired after a long trip from Kyoto for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon. Front of house staff were aware of this and congratulated us as we were helped to our room and shown around. It's this level of attention that's the norm there. Room - large, stylish, massive comfy bed, nespresso coffee (we had missed our coffee so much!), big bathroom with large tub and separate shower, dressing room and all this with an incredible view over Tokyo. Pool/gym - complimentary unlike so many others in Japan. 2 gym rooms with amazing views out over the city. Pool warm enough for kids to bob about in but not too warm if you train properly. Split into 2 lanes for lane swimming and 2 lanes for whatever. Never busy. Bar - on the top floor. Amazing views at night. Extensive cocktails working out at around £11 each. No cover charge and live jazz every night. Great end to an evening. Restaurants - we only ate at the Japanese restaurant. Again view amazing. Food was presented immaculately, very tasty. Portions slightly larger then we were used to from traditions Japanese places but this is probably as they cater for plenty of westerners. Slightly more expensive then eating out but we were happy with the price. Probably the third best meal we ate in 3 weeks and we are food people (went to Japan for the food and weren't disappointed). Concierge - had dealings with multiple incredibly polite staff who all spoke excellent English. They helped us booking restaurants and the recommendations turned out to be excellent. Very knowledgable about Tokyo. Overall - best place we've ever stayed. Went the extra mile to make our honeymoon perfect. We will be back

They provide their service by heart. Everything prepared and done already before you could think of. I am a Shangri La fans, always stay with them whenver I travel abroad. 2 resorts in Kota-kinabalu and the one at Sentosa. We visited Tokyo to stay for one night before going home, though priced higher than most Tokyo hotels, its location and services will compensate it all. They even provide escort services to and from Tokyo station platform. All staff are helpful and with good English. Shangri La never disappoint me before, but this one, is over my expectation. The best one in my experience.

Love the stay at The Peninsula Tokyo! Hotel service was great! Especially the concierge team, thumbs up!! The hotel staff were super friendly, even escorted us to our room and introduced facilities in the room. Also, the location of the hotel is superb! Great Location - minutes from the nearest metro entrance Great Rooms - Big Room with nice city view :) Great Service - English speaking staffs who are very helpful + fantastic facilities / restaurants Pricey though ... But considering the above, worth pampering of one self :)

There are too many positives to fit into 1000 characters. I booked a night at the Executive Zen for my wife's 30th birthday and from the moment we walked through the door we were treated like royalty. The staff were helpful and informative, the room had everything and more and came with stunning views of Mt Fuji and Tokyo Tower. The hotel staff contacted me before our staff and booked a table in the Sky Bar (which is a must) for pre-dinner drinks and the Tower Buffet for dinner. The only con to our stay, the food at the Tower Buffet did not reflect the price we paid for the food. The views were excellent from the 40th floor but it was a shame the food did not match it. However, that's not to say the food wasn't good, it just wasn't value for money. All in all we recommend this hotel, 10/10, and well worth the visit even if it for only one night.

Wonderful immense rooms « à la japonaise » but with real beds. High class, period. Elegant café facing a large enjoyable garden. Good breakfast.

Westin was excellent in every way. Cost was high, but compared to Japan it was reasonable for what it offered. Greatest of locations. Chinese restaurant was average at best and pricy for offering. Needs work for international audience I would highly recommend the Westin Tokyo Hotel for international guest. Overall it is a 5 Star facility. Rick

This is the best hotel i ever stay in means of the services that offered by the staffs. Since this is my first visit to Japan, Tokyo, I was quite unsure that I would did allright as people told be that Japan could be difficult as mostly japanese aren't speaking in english and taxi are so expensive that you have to travel mostly by train or subways which directions and istructions are all in japanese. since the first time i step my foot in the hotel, all the staff are so welcoming and thoughful and caring. They seemed to understand that we would need all the help we could possible get and they keep on offering help all the time. And they all so polite and nice. They will make sure and keep ion checking if we are comfortable all the time.For example, as we brought our 3years old twin girls with us, we planned on going to disneyland, then we asked the consierge to give us direction on how to get there, what they did is that they provide us with a printed map and step by step instruction typed nicely on a piece of paper on how to get there, which line of train should we hopped into,where shuld we get of for the next train and how long the walk and whichway to go. Amazingly they do this everytime you asked them direction to go somewhere. Theycan even buy you advance ticket to dysney by charging little extra if you afraid of the ticket to be sold out. They do your postal for you so no need to go to the post office on your own, they called the money changer if you want to exchange money to make sure that they have enough for you to exchange. And so many little things that, enat they offer that make our holiday a pleasent,enjoyable and a delighful one.Mostly the staffs are all speak a fluent english that hardly found in tokyo

Probably the best hotel I have stayed in. Everything was just perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was great, just next to Tokyo station. The room amneties were top notch and had a great view of Ginza My kids loved the hotel. At check in, they were given toys, winning then over immediately. Once in the room, there was a candy bowl with a great collection of munchies. The hotel brought a birthday cake for my daughter (it was her bday during the stay), and that was a very warm gesture. Much appreciated. Will definitely recommend this hotel, esp if you have young kids. This is the place to stay in Tokyo, no doubt.

The apartment is brand new! The staff is very friendly and the location is excellent. I definitely will come back next time if I come to Tokyo again.
