"Everyone should try the capsule hotel experience at least one night when visiting Japan. So did I and picked this hotel based on the reviews on Agoda and couldn't be happier! The hotel is located in a 8 story building in Kabukicho, Shinjuku and it's very easy to get there. The reception is in floor 3, a common area for men & women with kitchen, restaurants, vending machines and internet café is located in floor 4. Floor 5 is used for day use capsules while the night capsules for men are located in floors 6 & 7. Women can stay in floor 8, separated from men. Staff was super nice and welcoming (contrary to some opinions here), they tried to help me from the very beginning and the people I talked to spoke fairly good English. Although customers are assigned a small locker with enough space to leave the clothes in a changing room, bigger luggage can be stored on some shelves present in both the changing room and in front of the reception. Don't be scared of leaving your items there, this is Japan and everybody respects your belongings. The place is clean and the capsule is much bigger than pictured!! Inside there is a control panel for the light, alarm, air conditioner and television, a power socket and a mirror along with the pillow and a duvet. All capsules have a curtain than can be opened/closed for privacy and but beware that some noises can come inside if other guests speak loudly (usually don't). The hotel also has a traditional Japanese bath (onsen) and sauna. Don't forget to try it before you leave! Checkout time is at 10 am and luggage cannot be stored after checking out. I had a great experience at Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel and will definitely come back in my next trip to Tokyo."

"We stayed in this hotel for 2 days recently. We had a very pleasant experience throughout our stay. Initially we booked our room in 2 separate booking, so theoretically we have to check in another room for the 2nd day, but the front staff, a gentleman, is so kind and really took the time to find us a high floor room for the 2 nights so that we need not have the hassle to change room. Thank you so much. Obviously we had a good view looking out to Tokyo Tower. Room is not big but adequate, well lited, including the bathroom. There is convenient store in house which proved to be very useful. But through out our stay, the one thing which touches us is the friendliness of the hotel staffs, very courteous and ever ready to help. That particular lady who sent us to our limousine bus deserved special mention for being very thoughtful. Unfortunately in a hurry we didn't register her name. We stayed in 6 hotels in Tokyo, and I must admit we have the best experience from this hotel. "

"Having stayed in a number of hotels in Tokyo over the last few years, I believe that the Villa Fontaine Shiodome is the best all around deal. The hotel is very clean and safe, and easy to get to from the main JR line in Tokyo (or a few of the subway lines). The staff was extremely helpful the few times they were needed, and the included breakfast is a nice touch, if not a full fledged buffet."

"When we arrived, we realized that our booking put us all on smoking rooms. The helpful staff managed to put us on non-smoking but we still need to stay two nights at smoking rooms as at the time they have no non-smoking room for the whole duration of our stay. We found that the smoking room has better bed with some sort of memory foam or latex foam lining on top. The hotel is about 10minutes walk away from the JR Shinjuku station. For us it is not a long walk and we think it is a good distance but not too far because Shinjuku station is very busy. There are two mini marts and there are plenty of restaurants too on the hotel premises. You can find several more between hotel and Shinjuku station. Rooms are clean, although a bit small as most other hotels in Tokyo are. Sometimes the wait time for the elevator can be quite long although there are six elevators. Our first local tour's meeting place (Yakoso) is right at the hotel and airport Limousine bus can take us directly to the hotel and we can purchase return tickets to airport right at the hotel as well. This is a big plus because we have quite a few luggages. We think this is the most convenient hotel we have stayed. Distance from the JR station is just right and you can find quite a selection of food at the hotel too: Japanese, Chinese, Western, even an Indian food restaurant."

"Really nice hotel that is a little away from the busy Ginza area but close enough to get to the main shopping areas. Subway just across the road and if you are taking the limo bus services from airport, the Marriott courtyard stop is just a few hundred metres away. Plenty of food around with a nice little noodle/rice place just next to it. Breakfast was great with a choice of sushi/japanese/western set. Stayed in the moderate deluxe with two twin beds which are big enough to sleep 2 adults and 2 kids under 7. Only downside is that they don't offer concierge services so you will need to take your luggages to your room on your own. Which was a bit of a hassle as we travelled with two young kids which luggage and strollers. Definitely will stay here again if in Tokyo. "

"Brought my family there (wife and 2 6yr old kids) to Tokyo to visit Tokyo Disneyland and other parts of Tokyo. Hotel staff are friendly and very responsive to any service requests I had (ie, extra pillows, blanket, etc) Loved the free Internet terminals at the lobby with free printing (they use Sony workstations) as it help with my planning of the various sites in Tokyo. There's free Internet in the rooms but I did not bring my notebook along. Took a twin single bed room. Was able to get both my kids to sleep in 1 bed while my wife took the other. I slept on the floor with the help of the extra blankets and pillows. The location is good for us as we went to Tokyo Disneyland (they have free Disneyland shuttle bus service as a Disney Friends hotel)for 2 days, spent another 2 days in various part of Tokyo city and spent 1 day at the malls near the hotel (1 train stop away) Breakfast was taken care of by buying food from the 24hrs convenience store on 2nd floor. There's a nice cafe at the train station nearby and other various cafes, restaurants, fast food in the TFT building opposite the hotel. Overall, if you plan to bring your family to Tokyo Disneyland and later still visit other parts of Tokyo, I would recommend this hotel to you."
