Toronto (ON) hotels & places to stay

Bring your own toiletries including tissue. The place needs signages and feel the shower and toilets are in one room and coed. But in the end the price paid was justifiable for what I experienced. However the staff was awesome. Kudos to Adrian.

Definitely picked the right hotel for our stay in Downtown Toronto - haven't been back for some 20 years for more than a day and it was nice to be in the centre of it all. Had to do some personal things, banking, etc. and with the subway nearby one could get to almost anywhere that you couldn't walk. Loblaw's Superstore on Carlton only a minute away - and should be on one's bucket list to visit in Toronto.

As previously, I was satisfied with my stay at Woodbine Hotel and Suites, but this time the surprise was finding that the rooms are sealed -- my previous visit was in March, when I never thought about opening the window. This time the cost of the shuttle was no surprise, and the complimentary breakfast was quite acceptable, with the usual hot and cold selections available. This visit saw us settled in one of the rooms that looks out onto the enclosed "courtyard" where people congregate to eat their breakfast, so we had to be careful to close our curtains lest we provide entertainment for the amusement of the diners.

Quiet location yet near a vibrant part of town and a subway stop. Room #3 was spacious with high ceilings, comfortable bed & chairs, good AC, small refrigerator & microwave, fine internet, and lots of windows (looking at trees and the Rogers building). To be aware of: It's a one man operation, with a very friendly host, but he might be at a nearby property when you try to check in. To get his attention, ring the bell -- the phone is a normal line that can connect to an operator, not a direct line to the office. And the only toiletry supplied was a bar of soap, so you might bring or be ready to purchase shampoo.

Shuttle bus servise is good, the size of the shuttle bus is large, so no need to wait for 2nd round to get on the bus. The hotel is about 10mins drive from airport, the rooms are big and clean. Very confortable. There are different restaurants neraby the hotel, about 10mins walk from hotel. Very nice . Will stay again next time come to Toronto.

Our travel agent researched and booked The Westin Harbour Castle Hotel for us and we couldn't have been happier. Okay, it's a huge (900+ rooms) convention style hotel but the rate offered via Agoda was great compared to similar Toronto downtown 4* and 5* rated hotels. The rooms with comfy king beds are huge and the bathrooms are lovely. The hotel has numerous food and beverage outlets, but we were on our honeymoon so we ventured out (even in the middle of winter) to explore Toronto and seek out restaurants recommended by our travel agent. so, all in all, a great hotel stay and hightly recommended for the location and price booked through Agoda.

I’ve stayed there for one week, there is a lot of immigrant living into that hotel, people are screaming in the hallway at night, fire alarm woke us up at 1am and needed to go outside for 30 minute with our daughter, found diarrhea poop into the swimming pool, half of the gym machines are broken, jacuzzi is broken too, the buffet is really simple, do not expect a 5 star hotel, you will get dissapointed

The price is ok compared with other 3 stars hotels in the same location. The room is the size I get used to in Toronto. They are all very small. But it’s very very clean. I like the little smell of bleach on the bed.

Hotel was really great.. Concierge was not really knowledgeable tho.. Food in restaurant was really good.. It’s all pricey, but that’s Toronto.. Would return ...

We were so pleased to be here when the Raptors took on the GS Warriors as we expected Toronto to go off!!!! It did. The hotel was well placed to experience the vibe. The sign “We the north” was up. We loved it. The room and facilities were great and the staff very friendly and professional. Highly recommend. Become a Hilton honors member.

The hotel is not far from the airport and the hotel clark at the reception is very friendly. The internet facility is free of charge of course and the Itarian restrant attached to the hotell is so delicious. I would be sure to book this hotel is I had another chance to visit Toront. They gave me a ride to the airport on my departure day with free of charge. I could save 30CAD instead of taking a Taxi.

Hotel is easy access and near to the central bus station. Staff are friendly too. Happen that the day when I check in, left only 1 girl manning the counter and there are a little bit of queue. .. So it took me extra time to check in. Overall is good. Staff are friendly

Pros: near street train, entertainment and resto. Cons: no extra towel rack for more than one towel. Signs of age very visible. Drive way is not on King St. , so if you don't know, you unload on King St.

Arrived 7am and asked to use the gym shower. I was kindly provided access key and was able to have my suitcase checked in with the bellhop. However the 2 showers did not have hot water. Towels were provided, but the locker room required my own lock which I didnt have so I changed inside the shower with my backpack. Only dispensable soap was available. Checked in at 4pm, went to my room, but the door wouldnt open after inserting the card key. Had to ask a closeby house service person for help. Seems I had to open it a certain way. Was told the same thing by helpdesk. WTHeck! Room was nice and clean but it was facing a construction site from the 2nd floor. Windows were well insulated, but sirens and morning construction work can be heard. Should have got a discount for this inconvenience! Also the shower head was leaking. You can tell that it was a long outstanding issue as the ceiling paint was peeling. I notified reception at check out. Didnt want to deal with bother of repair.

It a nice comfortable hotel situated very near Toronto airport, The staff were courteous and friendly. I would specially like to thank Ms. Tanya at the reception and Mr. A Munir at the concierge for their exceptional service rendered to us. We would definitely recommend and visit again in future.

In contrast with what some of the testimonial said, there is in fact unsecured Open Wifi access, and I was not even aware that a white box that is plugged in the LAN port in my bedroom is in fact a "shared" Wifi router for a number of suites, and that box does not even have any signs, label or warning to request residents not to unplug it. After I remove the LAN cable while plugging in my own secured Travel Router for two days, then in one evening I got locked out from accessing my room and was subsequently rudely scolded by the guy at the front desk saying I did not pick up the phone (as a visitor, who will stay in the room throughout the day to wait for their phone calls, and I wonder why they do not try to leave a memo under my door if they try to reach me for two days) and try to accuse me that I purposely and selfishly remove the cable and that was why they gotta punish me by locking me out of the room. I should be grateful that he treated me like a student and he acted like a proctor - but as a guest, by "punishing" me like this I indeed feel quite offended. On the check-out day, there was a "scheduled power outage" (realized there is a memo stick onto the wall in the elevator concourse) yet the memo did not specify the scope of such power outage (despite new apartments in Toronto usually have backup generators powering up at least one elevator on power outages). The front desk staff did not made us aware of the outage since the day when we check-in and we only got the first notification by phone two minutes before the outage saying the elevator will be shut down right away. The consequence is that a large number of residents that need to check out on that day will need to bring their luggage by accessing the stair case. For me, I need to drag three large suitcase and climb down the stairs all the way from the 9th floor.

The only reason I only have the facilities 3 stars is because the floor of the hot tub was extremely slippery and I slipped getting in and hurt my foot/leg .Could have been much worse had my husband not caught me. Also, the hot tub had a lot of "dirt" floating around in it and could use a good cleaning. BUT the staff were very friendly and helpful even rearranged things to let us check in 3 hours early! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay again

Always a good stay at the intercon Toronto. One thing I discovered this time was it may be the easiest hotel to access from the train that runs Pearson airport - Union station. You exit, cross one street and you are there! Will stay again and no more 60$ taxi rides!

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the location to be good. Not to far from downtown Toronto. The motel was nicely kept and the breakfast was adequate. Nice parks nearby as well.

I stayed at holiday in this past weekend and the experience was super amazing, I felt at home staying at the hotel, everything was so good, the staffs was accommodative and friendly, the breakfast was so amazing and yummy everyday, I love everything about holiday in downtown and next time I’m in Toronto I will definitely stay there, it now my home whenever I’m in Toronto and I will recommend it to anyone, thank you for the great service the money I paid it was worth it Though the parking was not free and mind expesive but I understand because it downtown that why😊

The staff were very nice however I was told to give a down payment of $150 which I would get back the day I leave.. upon leaving I was told 5 to 7 working days. The room was nice but not as clean as one would hope. The breakfast lady Violet was wonderful as were the rest of the staff. The hotel is located in a nice area easily accessible to public transport and local shops.

Staff were very friendly, room was small but clean, pool and hot tub were really nice. Restaurant was amazing. Bed was a bit hard but not a deal breaker.
