Hotel Eurostars Rey Don Jaime
Camins al Grau,Valencia - View on map
"The location is great. We walked to pretty much all the places. We only took a bus between train station and the hotel when carrying luggage. We had the most economic room which is small and no view what so ever. But all the view to the green space has been pretty much blocked from the hotel so we didn't miss the view considering how little we paid for the room and we spent most of time outside. The bed is full size but it's ok for us. You need to get hot water from the bar. There is a big Carrefour about 10 min walk away. Even better we found there is an ALDI just a few doors down so no need to walk to Carrefour."

Melia Plaza Valencia

"The hotel is in the very centre of Valencia, which is a plus. Yet, the room was tiny. Nothing to complain: good wi-fi, friendly staff, etc. Just, you cannot stay in the room without suffering claustrophobia. Perfect if you are on holiday. Very small gym, as well."

Hotel Catalonia Excelsior
Ciutat Vella (City Center),Valencia - View on map
"The Catalonia hotels we stayed in in both Barcelona and Valencia were about the best accommodation we had whilst travelling through Spain. The locations were good, the rooms clean and overall the service was good. Adequate English TV channels with large TVs made it easy to relax after long days. Fridge did not have a freezer compartment, however, when asked ice was made available. Only poor point was that other guests must have smoked in the rooms before us as there was a smoky odour coming through the airconditioner. Staff were helpful and spoke good English. Generally good value for money and recommended. "

Melia Valencia
Benicalap,Valencia - View on map
"The hotel is strategically located and you can take a nice stroll to the city which is about 3km away - I did :) A few nice restaurants and bars nearby too so you really don't have to worry about getting breakfast, lunch or dinner within the hotel vicinity. I will definitely consider returning to Melia when I visit Valencia next. Side note: They don't provide toothbrush, toothpaste but generous on shampoo, conditioner, body lotion or shower gel. And please opt for the room with full window (ceiling to floor). You won't regret it :) "

"The hotel is pretty decent with the price you get. Although the location is pretty far away from the city center and don’t expect to walk to beach from the hotel. Otherwise the rest are fine. "

Silken Puerta Valencia Hotel
Camins al Grau,Valencia - View on map
"We spent 5 nights there and really enjoy the service and room. We really love room design. It's modern and new. Room is quite big and has two sofa that you can relax with your drink. Toilet also beautiful and clean. They prepared book about tourist information in Valencia in the room too. Location is great. There are many restaurants around there. We found one that's good and not expensive. So we went there 2 days. First and the last day. The restaurant in the hotel is good too. It's nearly same price as other restaurant. Good service and good taste Tapas. You should try it. Metro staion is not far from hotel. Reception is nice, helpful and good at English. Only 2 thing that we not satisfied is price of mini bar. It's expensive if compare to Hotel in Barcelona that we stayed. And the wall is thin you can hear your neighbors talked and not possible to sleep late cause it's noisy when maid start to work. You will wake up every time when they closed the door."

Sh Valencia Palace Hotel
Camins al Grau,Valencia - View on map
"Good location, in the centre of Valencia - not far from the City of Arts and Sciences. It's a calm, peaceful area. Good pharmacy next door. small but well-equipped gym, friendly staff. I didn't have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant but it seemed to have an interesting menu. The room was spacious and comfortable, likewise with the bathroom."

Aparthotel Wellness
Paterna,Valencia - View on map
"This suited me fine, but Paterna Technolgy Park is well outside of Paterna - and hence the Valencia metro system. There is a direct bus to Valencia every hour though. The staff are friendly and patient with my attempts at Spanish. I would have liked coffee making facilities in the room, and international channels on the TV. But all in all a good value stay."

More about Valencia

Valencia is home to historic neighborhoods and luxurious beachfront resorts, all set against a backdrop of the stunning Mediterranean Sea. Founded by the Romans and later ruled by the Moors for several centuries, Valencia’s architecture tells a vivid tale of the country’s splendid past. The influences of this history are very evident in the art, architecture, and cuisine of Valencia – something that makes this city a great choice for travelers looking for a great European vacation without going all over the map. The city is served by Valencia Airport, which is located just a few kilometers form the city center and well connected by public transportation.

Most of Valencia’s resorts can be found along the waterfront, away from the city center. The beaches of the Mediterranean are no doubt a favorite among travelers, and Valencia’s beaches such as Malvarrosa Beach are a great way to enjoy the sunshine and crystal clear waters of the sea. While the historic city center is the favorite among sightseers and history buffs, the rest of Valencia’s city center is a great testament to the city’s modern architecture as well. Places like the The City of Arts and Sciences are a great way to experience the growth that Valencia continues to see as a world-class city. Along with being the birthplace of the Spanish favorite dish of Paella, Valencia is also home to the annual Fallas Festival, which is held every March and makes this an exciting time to visit Valencia.
