Sonbern Lodge Motel
"Located in Wallaroo Sonbern Lodge is located within walking distance to the main village shops and also the seashore. A pleasant quiet coastal town where you can relax. The room was clean and comfortable. We booked this accommodation as we believed it was advertised with a kitchenette, however, on arrival found the room only had a microwave and kettle. The proprietor kindly gave us a microwave friendly dish which enabled us to cook. There is also a BBQ outside for guests use. As non smokers we found other guests smoking (allowed outside each room) imposing. I would still recommend Sonbern Lodge as a place to stay."Show more

"Good value, and we were lucky and got a nice big room to spread ourselves (too bad the windows don't open). The shared bathroom was clean, we had air-con. The bar area was nice, friendly, and welcoming. I would recommend asking for a room away from the smoking section. Darryl the manager was amazing. Great service, thank you :) "Show more
