More about Warrnambool

Warrnambool is a small city in the Australian state of Victoria. The destination provides the perfect getaway with its location on the Great Ocean Road, parks, natural landscape, and leisurely attractions. The city is served by Warrnambool Airport, located about 11km northwest.

Being located on the Great Ocean Road puts Warrnambool within the vicinity of impressive sites. Tours can be arranged to explore the city, 12 Apostles, Tower Hill, and more. Kids and those young at heart will enjoy Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground, and the Botanic Gardens - designed in 1879 - sets the scene for an elegant day in nature. An ideal picnic or fishing trip can be had at Hopkins Falls or along Hopkins River which also provides water sports. A lot of history can be explored at Maritime Village, Warnambool Lady Bay Lighthouses, and the Flagstaff Hill Great Circle Gallery Museum.
