Weihai is a very nice place to stay, its parks along the cost are good for stroll and relax. We will be back very soon
Spotlessly clean streets, tree lined avenues, beautiful sandy beachs with safe swimming for children.
Clean air, pretty drive along an excellent winding coastal road. Downtown is pretty lively with large malls and shopping and while we didn't partake, the younger crowd at the big event we attended had no problems finding nightlife and clubbing to the small hours. The most helpful people we've encountered in our reasonably extensive international travels. Big language barrier but every person where ever we were was quick to jump on their iphone to find an answer or escort you down the road to show you. If you want a "soft" introduction to China or just a couple of days to relax, Weihai is a good choice and is apparently known as the Green capital of China.
Beautiful, clean well planned city reminding me of Vancouver, Canada with mountains on one side and Weihai Bay and the Yellow Sea on the other.
