Is really beautiful, clean, everything is quality stuff. Their service is excellent, been liaising with Stuart before my stay with a few questions and requests. All were met and he was very patience and helpful even when we called him after past midnight. Out best stay in New Zealand. Totally worth the money. Highly recommended! Anyone visiting Whitianga you can consider to stay at this hotel. Love it!!!

We were travelling through and decided to stay in Whitianga as the area seemed to offer quite a few opportunities for us to explore, e.g. Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach. The Beachside Resort apartment we had was awesome, roomy, clean, nicely decorated and provided everything we needed, being located closely to the town centre and a lovely, highly recommended restaurant, Enigma. Everything was perfect and we used the apartment as our base for two days while enjoying this part of the North Island. Highly recommended!

Great little B&B located about 1km from Whitianga centre and 150m from beach. Everything is spotlessly clean and the well setup. The room has a nice en-suite bathroom and built in wardrobe. There is a communal area for B&B guests with lounge with skyTV and small book swap library, dining area and kitchenette. Tea, coffee, biscuits, bread, milk, juice etc are all provided for you to help yourself and you can use the fridge for your own cool items. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of cooked or continental options and is certainly a hearty start to the day. The host are very friendly and accommodating and able to recommend local places to see, do and eat. There is off street parking.

This was the best apartment I stayed at my holiday trip at New Zealand. The apartment is very clean and everythings is perfect. I will be stay at this apartment again if I have go to Whitianga.

Everytime when I come to Whitianga for business meetings, I will stay in this apartment. It's not my first time staying in this apartment, highly recommended to friends and family!

Older building but new owner has spent time and money in renewing property. The bed/mattress are very new and really comfortable. Owner is always helpful and obliging. Quiet location but walking distance into town. Whitianga is a lovely town to stay.

Conveniently located in the main shopping street with restaurants and a great bakery nearby. Great swimming pool and lovely garden. Can go to the river from the garden. Near main attractions such as the hot water beach (30 minutes) and cathedral cove (30 minutes). Excellent.

lynette and darryl were the nicest, charming host. i had a snag with my booking and without hesitation lynnette resolved the issue quickly and graciously. the rooms are beautiful, clean and very spacious. it's nice and quiet at night, and they have fruit trees in the front of reception that is open for picking.

Room was amazing, views were exceptional. Hotel was spacious and everything we needed. Staff went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you!

Bonus - we were upgraded! But I don't think the rooms are great value to money. We were upgraded to a $250/night room and while there was nothing wrong with it (it was clean, neat and comfortable) I don't think it was worth $250 a night mid week when it wasn't school holidays. That aside staff were super friendly and Whitianga is amazingly beautiful.

When driving into Whitianga, you can't miss this hostel, it's like a rainbow landed on the earth. :) The dorm rooms are spacious and my favorite thing about them was the large window areas where you could sit, read a book and look out at the ocean just across the road. The kitchen is tidy and occasionally the local cat will come to beg food from you or just to curl up next to you while you're watching a movie. The managers are lovely and there's beaches all around. This has definitely been one of my favorite hostels in NZ so I recommend it warmly! Although it was super quiet when I visited in the winter, there was some lovely walks around and the beach is beautiful any time.

What a lovely, clean, comfortable property. We could look right out our sliding doors (or sit on our lovely little patio) and see the beautiful sea view of Whitianga! Wonderful!!

This was our best short stay in NZ! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the location is close to the sea but very quiet without any traffic noise, the house/rooms/the whole property are literally manicured! Plan to come again and highly recommend to others!

Where to start ... the perfect welcome from Giorgio; the beautiful and fully equipped apartment with its private terrace; to the stunning view across Mercury Bay. Giorgio introduced us to the area, made recommendations for the best beaches to visit and even booked Christmas dinner for us. Actually, we could just as easily just have sat looking at that view the whole time.

I checked in late and the staff was there ready to check me in and knew me by name. It was comfortable, homely,clean and a great location for taking beautiful morning sunrise just crossing the street to be on the beach. next time I will stay extra nights.It's a self-contained home unit and kitchen equipment is sufficient.

My wife and I have been travelling around the world, and we have to admit that by far this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. It is located near the town centre. The room was clean, well facilitated and comfortable. There is complimentary wifi internet in the room which is super fast. The breakfast was delicious. Andrea, the owner, was extremely helpful with information and places to visit around the area. Overall, we have a wonderful stay. Well done!

We stayed here two nights. Our chalet was clean and spacious with two bedrooms, a sofa bed, a kitchenette, toilet and shower/bathroom. The chalet was privately owned rather than owned by the holiday park and this meant that the owners were responsible for maintenance and furnishings. As a result some aspects of our chalet were in need of attention and the sofa bed was almost impossible to sit on as it was so worn out as to be uncomfortable. A leak in the shower meant that the floor covering was breaking up and the wall and floor was mouldy. All these things were out of the control of the owners of the holiday park however. We do feel however that the time is fast approaching where the park owners need to consider whether they can continue to let this chalet out on the owners behalf as in doing so it may reflect negatively on the reputation of the holiday park as well as that of the owners of the chalet. Other points to note are that the chalet was unserviced and that reception closed at 18.00hrs,which may be a little early for some people. Comprehensive information on local attractions, restaurants etc was in a folder provided by the park owners. Our experience with this particular chalet would not prevent us staying at the holiday park in the future.

Room and staff was great, only thing I could think of complaining about is the water pressure.

Great location, we were down for a wedding and it close to everything, the owners were lovely and nice and clean! It was a bit pricey ($166 a night) but we did go to a popular town around peak time I guess.

Simply walk across the two lane street that runs along the waterfront and dive into the ocean. The traffic was never bad and it drops to almost nothing after 10pm. There was a great view over the street and across the bay from our suite. Walk to the hot springs, also highly recommended.

Nice and unique! Very relaxing place. There is a pizza restaurant just about 100 feet away, very convenient and food is nice too. There is beach close by and can enjoy beach walk. Good place :)

Jennie is delightful. The modern accommodation is contiguous with her home and includes a part of her home’s garage — with a curtain separating the garage space from the living area of the accommodation. There is no heat other than a couple of space heaters, which could not keep up with the drop in temperature overnight....late winter in New Zealand. We were very uncomfortable in the evening and morning. The breakfast offerings were adequate. The price reflects the limitations of the accommodation. If you are on a tight budget and need two bedrooms, Jennie’s is a very good option especially during warmer months!

Very clean place and hosts were welcoming even though we were so late. They had the heater on for us which was a nice touch. The breakfast cove and sun deck are the dealbreakers!
