The house was Nice and big, only point was that it was not completly clean but it was good enough. Staff was very kind and helpfull. It is 5km to skiarea Winterberg, with a cab you are within 10 minutes over there, the staff fix a cab in 10 minutes. It was a Nice experience!

Very unpolite reception and staff. While the students of the hotelschool were friendly. Owners and some regular staff not. hotel and rooms are outdated. Bar is ok and with library and fireplace. Coffee is of poor quality also the diner. Nice buffet but poor quality. The parking at the hotel is terrible. Full of ice and snow. Cars were spinning and needed help of other hotel quests to push them out of the snow all the time to get out of their parking space. The hotel did not wanted to do something to clean the parking space or send help. Dangerous. At the end we parked the car far away from the hotel were it was safer and easier to get out. We had to walk up and down to unload and load the car with luggage on an icy/slippery road. My husband just had an operation at his hand and I had back problems. So this parking area where you needed the car every day to go somewhere was really a dangerous problem. Cars almost slipped against each other. At the bar/coffee area no service of any drinks at 11 till 12 noon while this place is full with guests. Staff is having breakfast also the owners and nobody wants to serve than. Unbelievable. This is not possible in a hotel.

This was a very nice stay. The lady of the house was very helpfull, every detail was more than OK. We would certainly recomment this pension.

Large, comfortable, well appointed rooms. Excellent service in all areas. Good food. Helpful staff. Lovely views of town. Spotless hotel. Lovely High Tea. Conveniently located. Unfortunatelly free wifi was not provided. We absolutely loved staying at the hotel- it was a special treat and can't wait to return. Hopefull the price become slight cheaper, then we will be able to come back to the hotel more often.
