Zakopane hotels & places to stay

I have to rate the value for money quite low although it is fair to say that we booked at last minute in the busiest week of the year. The high price was a bit of a given. The facilities are great and location perfect.

This apartment is my favourite of the whole Poland’s trip. Extremely convenient. Just 3 minutes walk away from the Krupowki Street, where all the restaurants and shops are located. Have a nice balcony which we can enjoy our breakfast everyday

Firstly the place was spotlessly clean. It was really well designed and the whole complex was really cosy. We lived on the first floor with a patio which was really cute and nice. The staff was really really nice, went out of their way to help us with booking the cable car ride up kasprowy and helping us with ordering taxi etc. They had all the knowledge and information we needed during our visit to zakopane. Special shoutout to the lovely ladies of the kitchen who prepared our scrambled eggs for us every morning and who were always so kind to us. The breakfast was outstanding and left us fuelled and ready for the day every morning!! The villa had quiet hours which was great for us every night when we needed rest. It was walking distance to kasprowy cable car station, with a bus stop right infront of the villa bringing us to Morskie Oko or kuprowki. It was in all a lovely experience for us and we would 101% recommend the villa to anyone visiting zakopane!!

This is the best hostel that I have ever stayed in Poland, it is located on the fashion Street, near to most of the pubs, restaurant, shops and McDonald's fast food just beside the premise. It has a wide common area and a kitchen that allow it guest to cook, the WiFi is great and of course the friendly staff. Definitely will stay again next time when I go to zakopane.

We had a great stay here. Our room was cute, convenient, clean and comfortable. I think they must have the fluffiest blankets on the planet! The spa was very relaxing after a long day of hiking. They have a jacuzzi and two different saunas. The athmosphere was calm – perfect for couples! Service was friendly and everything went smoothly.

Hotel was located in Rownia Krupoma (A huge park) and the view from the room was great. Also, it had great access to both the station and shopping district, so everything was within walking distance. The room was clean and luminous, with one side completely comprising of windows. The staffs spoke English and were very helpful.

The hotel is within 10 to 15-minute walking distance from the bus terminus but a bus stop is at the main road junction. The breakfast and dinner are also good. The staff was friendly to show us how to buy the tram ticket. Some recreational facilities, e.g. swimming pool (though small) and sauna, are available.

The staff is a great value of that hotel, all 3 ladies at reception desk were extremely helpful. The room and bathroom were nice and quite big, hovewer the design, as well as furniture are back to 90s :)

I 've walked from Zakopane bus station to hilltop Gubalowka. I 'd say that Butorowy Dwor has the most stunning view of Tatra mountain. Room is clean and lovely with Zakopane wooden style. Wide selection of breakfast. Restaurant also serve nice a lar carte menu. Helpful and service mind hotel staff. Hotel sign is quite blur. The hotel is location on mountain. You should have car or taxi send you to the hotel.

With this being our first visit to the area, we wanted somewhere nice and comfortable and it could not have been better. The staff were all super friendly, the food in the restaurant was exceptionally good and incredibly fairly priced, served in a great setting. Other places in the area were not as good or as well priced and we noticed others were coming to the hotel just for the restaurant in the evening. The place was renovated recently and felt like other boutique-style hotels: warm, welcoming, modern and with little touches that made you feel like you were at home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and feel that the price premium compared to other hotels we saw in the area is completely worth it. We took the train over from Krakow and it was about a 15 min walk from Zakopane station but it was super thick snow, so imagine you could certainly do it in less time in warmer months. If they could add a sauna somewhere, I am certain it would be a welcome addition.

The hotel in located centrally in Zakopane, 10 min walk from the trainstation. The staff is helpfull when it comes to support and guidings. Eventhough the hotel does not look like it when you first see it is actually very nice. The rooms are not luxurius, but have all you/I needed for my stay in Zakopane.

Can't stress how friendly and helpful the staff are. I came to Zakopane with minimum preparation. The front desk girl kindly suggested me what to do and where to go. Without her assistance, i would not have enjoyed the stay as much. Thank you so much!! Poland is the best!

I had a very pleasant stay at this place. When looking at the map, I thought it would be inconvenient, but I was wrong. The location is great. You can just take bus 11 from the town and get off at the last stop, and there you can see the hostel. And you can take any minibuses going to Morskie Oko at the bus stop just in front of the hostel. The host is very helpful and friendly, having started learning English, so communication would be alright. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Recommend it!

Lovely hotel, with excellent English-speaking staff and facilities It is very close to the center of Zakopane (5 min walk) and to the bus station. The breakfast was brilliant, there was a big variety of food to choose from. The SPA was also very clean, well organized, with everything you need to chill out. The wifi connection in the room was free and very good. The lack of Aircon in the room was the only issue

Really really staff, food, atmosphere. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and 3 saunas => everything included in the price of the room. Play room for children. Everything was perfect.

I would like to emphasise several things that I like about this hotel. Firstful is location. It doesn't matter what itinerary you plan because it is easy to get to bus station or the city center from Crocus hotel. They offer to clients a lot of different activity, you can spend free time playing ping pong or relax in jacuzzi or swimming pool with sauna. Also there are well-skilled, polite and very helpfull stuff working at the hotel. I like hotel's restaurant with delicious food and reasonable prices. And the most pleasent things that I should noted is the wonderful landscape from the room's balcony. I would like to recommend to stay in Crocus for sure.

Too far to walk from Main Bus Station to apartment with luggage. Best to take taxi (about 15 pln). Ok to walk if you have very light backpack (about 25 mins ie 10 minutes to town centre plus another 15 minutes to apartment). Very spacious room and balcony offers stunning view of mountains. Some apartments do not face the mountains though. Room is simply furnished. Tiny kitchenette looks sad and neglected. No lift in the apartment so be prepared to climb stairs with luggage. I chose this apartment solely for its mountain view as I don't think other apartments have such an advantage.

Stayed there 2 nights while hiking in Tatra Mountains. Nothing super exceptional but also no disappointments. The breakfast could be served earlier though, didn't have a chance to try it as we always started day early (7AM).

Charming traditional accommodation with lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Made our trip to Zakopane. A little out of the main town area (about a 15 minute walk), but actually that was good, as it was nice and quiet. Also lovely view of the mountains in the background.

Comfortable hotel right in the middle of the main shopping street. A bit far from the bus station, but walkable distance. Reasonably close to the bus stop for the buses to Morske Oko, Kasprowy Wierch and such. No lift, unfortunately, so we had to drag our luggage few flights of stairs up. Clean rooms are a bit smallish. Good buffet breakfast. Tea, coffee and some biscuits were available all day long from the dining area, and there was no kettle in the room. Good WiFi signal.

this camping site is bit far from zakopane town, which can be advantage if you look for calm and nice surroundings. rooms are basic, but clean and good mainteined. very nice surrounding between mountains and with view to giewont. staff are polite and helpful. good choice for backpackers.

it was a little confusing finding the hotel, because the sign refers more to the salon than the hotel. if you plan on arriving at a none standard time you will probably have to make arrangements for someone to meet you. the location was right on the main tourist street and about 1km from the train and bus stations. the room was pretty large. we had a double bed and another single bed even though we only booked a double room.

The location of the hotel is quite strategic, not too far from the central. The room is clean, water pressure in the shower is good. It would be much better if there would be electrical kettle, coffee, and tea in the room. Most hotel has this facility, but unfortunately it is not available.

the apartment had everything we needed for 7days. bus stops were very near. wi-fi was free and always on, so we could look up information about where to visit in zakopane. and most important: apartment owner was very helpful and understands english.

+ Very friendly staff + Good food + easy accessible location (minibus stop nearby, takes 15 mins into city center) - guests before us had smoked in the room, the smell was sticking and very disturbing - cold room the ones which go out to the street side) - old furniture which should be replaced or mended (we had a horrible squeaky bathroom door, such a thing is easy to fix) - no bedside lamps, not enough power sockets
