We were in Brunei for a friend's wedding. After looking through the other hotels in Brunei, we decided this is the best looking accommodation (from pictures). And we weren't disappointed. The commendable service started from the airport pick-up, excellent attitude and professionalism from the staffs who picked us up. The arrival was welcomed with smiling staffs who greeted us warmly. The check in was smooth (early check in) and we were escorted to the room in a buggy. The English spoken by the staff was excellent! We had the sea-view room, it was amazing. The facilities in the hotel were excellent as well; during our stay, we managed to play bowling, snooker, cycling and even catch the latest movie at the theatre in the hotel! We managed to dine at Zen Pavilion Jap restaurant, it was great! If you were to travel to Brunei, be it for business or leisure, The Empire Hotel is the only place to stay. Kudos to the team at The Empire, keep up the good work! 10/10 will come back to stay!

My stay at this hotel was nothing but perfect! The main reason I booked this hotel is for the complimentary airport transfer because I had a 12 hour transit in Brunei. Upon arriving at the airport, the driver will be waiting at the arrival hall with your name on a card (Please email the hotel in advance regarding your flight details in order for them to make the necessary arrangements upon booking through Agoda). The room was clean and spacious. It had all the adequate amenities for guests. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Oh, and the wifi was perfect too. Finally, I would like to thank Darren Tan for promptly replying my emails regarding my queries. Definitely recommended for anyone staying or having a transit in Brunei.

There was an abundance of hotels to choose from in Brunei Darussalam, and we were not disappointed with our choice. Close to airport, with free transport to and from hotel. Breakfast (buffet) included and a big selection of eating locations in shopping mall same complex as hotel. We certainly will stay again.

The CentrePoint Hotel is located exactly as its name, surrounded by all different restaurants and shops. Better facilities and great views, rooms in great size; comprising, LCD TV, mini fridge, a safe, strong relaxing shower head in a generous bathtub, clean and comfortable room with adjustable room temperature. It also has two swimming pools, one deep pool and the other one is kiddie pool. Our flights arrived around 5:45pm, when we come to the hotel around 6:10pm, took us around 15mins to check in, then straight into the pools because the kids were so looking forward to a pool in Brunei's hot weather (also the reason I changed my booking from The Brunei Hotel to The CentrePoint Hotel). The reception saids the pool close at 8pm, but a board next to the changing room states the pool facilities would close by 9pm, however, our kids had about 1/2 hour fun, someone actually turned off all the lights at 7:30pm, looks like we were welcome to use the pool at all! I have to say it has better facilities than The Brunei Hotel, however, the services are not as good as The Brunei Hotel. Depends on what you're looking for your stays, if you're looking for better facilities, The CentrePoint Hotel would be the one, however, don't expect much smile and services from the staffs. However, one thing I have to mention, is that the airport pick-up is just perfect. The driver was a most friendly and talkative informative that gives great advice on where to visit, best time to leave and how much time we required to get to the airport, honest to charges, hotel told us it would cost BND30 each way for a van, but the driver only charged us BND25 each way, not a big difference but we appreciated his honesty and all the information he has given.

The hotel was good, but is currently undergoing renovation. The bathroom should have both shower AND bath facilities. This is typical of most 4-star hotels with some hotels even having separate bath and shower facilities in the bathroom. Also, the hotel should have airport transfer because of the few taxis available and transport options available in Brunei Darussalam.

Rizqun International Hotel is one of my favourite hotel in Brunei Darussalam. It is attached with The Mall which is one of the famous shopping complex in this country. Sometimes if i was in hurry to check- in, i'll buy new clothes for the stay at The Mall or any shops around the hotel. During the dinner, the hotel offered me steamboat with the varieties of dishes such as roti canai and ambuyat. So as the breakfast, there was western breakfast and a lot of kueh to choose from. I parked my car at the basement for free after i brought the parking ticket at the hotel's counter. I'll stay again at this hotel for the next vacation.

Apparently the hotel's gym is among the best gyms in the whole country of Brunei, and according to rumors you might even see loyalties getting their workout done here. Now isn't that kinda awesome! Other than that, the hotel is situated a bit far from the city center, but we soon figured out that there's not much to do downtown so that wasn't exactly a loss. The hotel staff drove us for free to the night market and we got free pickup from the airport the day we arrived so all in all the price we paid per night is really a bargain. Rooms are really basic and could need a renovation but considering the free transportation and awesome gym this place would definitely be my first choice for a budget hotel in Brunei. I'll be back with a longer review and pictures on my blog adventuresofanette.

Brunei hotel is a really nice hotel to stay, it have a very best location in Bandar Seri Begawan (capital city of Brunei Darussalam). This hotel is located precisely in the heart of "Bandar" so we can go around the city easier, it also located near one of the famous tourist attraction in Bandar seri begawan which is Kampong Ayer.

First off, your visit to Brunei will be made more enjoyable by booking here. Its complimentary airport transfers & shuttle service around attractions truly set the hotel above the rest! Second, we’d like to take this opportunity to praise & commend Mr. Nick who smoothly handled our check-in at the wee hours, shuttle schedule, and transfer back to the airport. Nick went above & beyond to ensure we were safely picked up & dropped off. He offered spot-on restaurant recommendations & was so helpful in orienting us on the best features of Brunei. He was so very patient, kind, professional, efficient and accommodating. Nick really makes your establishment world class. I hope you find a way to recognize him. 😀 Third, all the staff were also friendly, courteous, and easy to talk to. It really felt like our home away from home. Fourth, thank you for the complimentary upgrade from a double room to a junior suite. It was complete with appliances and so roomy. It was an unexpected treat! Thank you to the Management and Staff. You are really representing the very best of Brunei. You are part of the unexpected treasures! 😍😍😍

Simple Hotel. Easy access from Brunei Darussalam International Airport. First coming to the hotel I asked for Internet Wifi Access, and gladly it is high speed and for free. Booking process and check-in check-out was easy and integrated with Agoda. The frequent Room housekeeping was very good and proactive. Little advice: will be better if the customer service (lobby) greets the customer every time customers entering the hotel, and better if one of the service is to help customers taking the big luggage upstairs, because there was no elevator in the hotel. All are good. Keep it simple.

Very accommodating. Also, most of the staff wer Filipinos, so it's like we never left the country. Rooms are neat, no issues were encountered during our stay from Nov 1 - Nov 4. It's also close to the park and water village so we were able to walk around. Other establishments and public transpo are also accessible.. Will definitely book here again if ever I have the chance to go back to Brunei!

For a visit to Brunei when time is allocated and touring is pre-planned the hotel is excellent. Presentation and appointments are good and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel might make it undesirable for a stay when you are hoping 'to have time on your hands' to wander to the local sights or the local shopping centre/mall. There are a couple of really good restaurants within a short walk from the hotel. For 2 or 3 days when you are going to be escorted all the time, the hotel is excellent. Airport transfer is available and the reception staff cheerfully arranged a night tour for us to see buildings that are flood lit.

I would like to say that it's really worth it to stay at Jubilee Hotel. They really consider the guest comfort and their needs. They provided airport transfer, tour and excellent service since the staff there put their smile not only on their faces but on their heart. The location nearby to the Cultural and Historical spots of Brunei Darussalam. So, you could travel around on foot in Bandar Seri Begawan. The room interior quite nice and classy. Overall, The hotel will definitely make you enjoy Brunei with its serenity and peaceful athmosphere. Very convenient and cozy.

I feel this is the best hotel in brunei if you are looking for peace.... quite, clean and value for money....

We travel to Brunei every 2 months, this is our first time stay in this hotel because recommended by ours friend. They provide basement carpark, is safe and good for customers. I love this hotel because surrounded by restaurants, café, supermarket, shopping and etc within walking distance. That is a small shopping mall connected with hotel lobby, can find restaurants, bakery, boutique outlet, electronic shop,... without walking out from the hotel! Breakfast was provided, fresh and nice foods and good environment. Our room is big, a small coffee making area, and living room ( two of single sofa and one coffee table), big window, big washroom, only the decoration a bit old.

The staffs were really helpful, everyday I got the breakfast just I needed. The room is clean and spacious. The hotel is attached to a small shopping mall, which gives me lots help in purchasing my daily need. Hotel location is not in the city, but I am ok with that since I was there for working.

Room is clean and receptionist lady is very friendly. The airport pick up service is perfect, when I arrive in Brunei, my flight is delayed more than one hour, the driver is still waiting. However, the shuttle bus service is not good enough, nearly equals none. 1) The frequency of shuttle bus to landmark is rarely. 2$ On 2nd day of my stay, I ask for shuttle bus service to come back hotel ( 3-4 hours in advance), receptionist confirm to pick me up on 9:00. At 9:30 clock, I did not see hotel shuttle bus driver so ask again. Another receptionist refused my request say nobody received my call and nobody confirm my request once. At that moment it is late in evening. If I still need hotel shuttle bus service, there are fee-paying for those service. I answer..... ok how many is it, the man ( receptionist) quoted 3 price in one sentence of his words, BND 5- BND 20-BND 30, finally he say I need to pay 30 dollar. it is so strange 3 different prices so I refused him. Then, I take a taxi by using “ DART” come back hotel, costs BND 14.9.

Good location hotel, spacious and clean room, sufficient toiletries provided, like disposable toothbrush, shaving kit, shower cap etc., are all well prepared. Staffs able to spoken reasonably English. Breakfast are actually good, but hygienic have to be taken out for dessert site, as there are lot of sand flies on the pastries that feel queasy. Hotel also provide free airport transfers. I was given a room on 7th floor that faced the stadium,pleasant view and quiet but poor wifi speed. Brunei is a small rich country without much sight seeing spots. Hotel location is very near to BSB International Airport about 5 minutes drive distance. Will return again to this hotel.

In general, Hotel Gina Suite was okay! Cheap but clean. Our problem was we visited Brunei at the wrong time - Ramadhan. Everything was on a standstill - no eating and drinking during the daytime. But the hotel's friendly staff bought most of the food for us to eat inside the room.

The receptionist (Mr. Ryan) was very accommodating. We arrived Brunei at 11pm and little did we know there were no open money changers at that time, more so, local transportation. Though he was kind enough to lend us money for the taxi it was a good thing that there were good samaritans who offered us a ride to the hotel. Overall, the hotel is close to The Mall and the bus stop is just a stone throw's away.

The service apartment is way more nicer than average hotel in brunei with reasonable price. The room is given as shown in the picture. The only bad thing about the room that we stay was the water outlet of where we shower is clogged. Notify the receptionist about that and it has been fix. Overall everything was good and will stay there again the next visit.

This hotel is very good for first timers in Brunei and also good for a low cost room and very clean. Excellent and very friendly staff and also very cheap public transportation. Only 20-30 min. drive to the airport. Restaurant is very spacious, excellent and cheap food, and excellent staff too. Its also close to the Jerudong Park so if your with a family this is a good hotel for you and also cheap. I give this hotel a 3 star and RECOMMENDED!!!

Venice Lodge is clean and neat place to stay for meticulous travelers on a budget. It also has a free airport transfer which is very important if you are arriving in Brunei after 6PM and before 5AM. Taxi from airport to any point in Brunei is extremely expensive and it could ruin your entire budget. The room smells good, talk about clean linens, and the entire property premises is very clean! The staff are also very accommodating, the hotel manager Ms. Gina, a fellow FIlipino, shared to us a local food while waiting for our dinner to be served during our dinner in the lodge. Only downside is the lodge is far from bus stop. You have to walk for about 15 minutes before reaching Gadong where you can find bus, but worry not it's safe to walk in Brunei! Don't bother to wait for taxi since none will pass by the area and they also said that taxi is extremely expensive. You can walk instead. Be mindful of the first and last bus that passes by Gadong area to Bandar (City Center.

Kaoja Hotel very modern and nice hotel. Have a pleasant time staying there. Reasonable room rate, inclu Breakfast. Free wifi which is good. Very impress to find such a nice hotel in KB. Front Desk service was good and staff are friendly. i would rate 3.5 stars to this hotel.

We needed a place to stay for 3 nights to attend a wedding. Our group of 5 including our elderly mum really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The apartment was fully equipped and clean. the Staff especially Jenny at the front desk were very friendly and all our request were promptly attended. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town

The place is very much strategically located as shopping malls, night market, restaurants, convenience stores, and the bus stop are just within a walking distance. The bed is also big and is very comfortable. I felt safe staying in my room as Brunei Darussalam itself is one of the safest countries in the world. My only suggestion is that you’re staff should learn how to speak in English better. There are a lot of resources in the Internet for better communication. If I come back to Brunei, I will definitely stay here again!

This is my second stay at the hotel. It was too noisy for me because of the door banging everytime a person goes out of the room and on that particular day we couldnt sleep till 2 AM because of all the noise. Maybe it was because there was a wedding function. Suggestion Admin of the hotel can impose on some regulation about this. i wont mind if it was in the morning or afternoon but during midnight , 1 am, 2 am....All and all its a wonderful place to be in with facilities, food outlets and supermarket easy access. Staff were great.

Initially, I do not have much expectation. To my surprise, staying here just feels like home, and even better since everything is brand new. Kitchenette with cooking utensils, basic toiletries and towels are provided too. Breakfast is not provided and there is no hotel lobby and such, due to its home residency concept. Although the roof top swimming pool area is quite small, still, it is big enough for you and your family to have fun. In addition to that, there is more than enough free parking for visitors. Location-wise, although it is not situated at the city center but it is still in walking distance to Gadong Central where local restaurants and convenient stores located. My only slight disappointment is the miscommunication between the hotel and myself prior to my stay. I called them earlier to confirm my booking and if airport transfer was provided - and the male receptionist said no. So I took the taxi from airport to hotel and was charged BND25. Upon checkin, the female receptionist said that a driver has been scheduled to pick me up and quite intense for my no-show. I appreciate the courtesy given, but they should provide firm information to avoid any money wastage.

You have to be on a Business Travel - no heavy baggage. No elevator... but good exercise. Service is very good. Impressed. (This is not 3 star... just good for Business Travel - Practical)
