Good Morning. My name is Montserrat Fillol. I lived in Cannary Island,and I´ve spend christmas holydays at Lemon Creek room 41. It was my first trip to Gambia, and It was a wonderful experience specially because I meat these nice and lovely people at the hotel. They are such a nice and warm people, all of them wanted to know some things about my country. I just want to suggest some activities to promote them in order to get more tips and be more motivated. 1.- Aqua gym at pool every day with Gambian music- 2.- Fashion show at the restaurant with Gambian taylor´s dessigns..some of the girls are wearing these marvelous dresses 3.- Promote at the reception de holystic center massages, and also allowed girls to give them at the pool. Is soo difficult for women to get jobs and get well payed..may be this is one of the ways. 4.- Get doors and windows rooms fixed. Thanks a lot for making my first stay in Gambia so happy. We loved Footsteps so much: it was so tranquil, yet there were lots of opportunities to socialise with other guests and interesting places to visit nearby. (The beach was spectacular, the river trips were amazingly relaxing and there are so many birds to learn about...) The staff were so helpful, the food was great - the chefs catered beautifully for us fussy vegans - and we loved having our own little round house. We got used to the composting toilet very quickly, and were super-impressed by how effectively the water was heated by solar power. Extra bonus: not a single mosquito! Would go back in a heartbeat.

Enjoy a buffet of breeze and birdsong at cozy Roc Heights Lodge, where multi-talented Omar does a great job welcoming guests. In the morning, you can enjoy a simple breakfast with joyful birdsong filling the garden. There is African art in every corner of this lodge. It feels like an art gallery when you start to notice the details. The lodge are also trying to encourage care for environment and the community. Nice place.

Gambia is a poor cointry, Hygien and clean can be a problem every where you are. It's not garanti for elektrisity power and water. You have to have your own soap in your pocket.
