Good location, nice breakfast at Cafe Italia, bed was very comfy, the gym was small but good. Disappointing the pool in our block was closed so we had to walk to another block. The pool is very basic, not amazing. Very expensive but so is everywhere else in Jordan! One female member of staff looked at in disgust for no apparent reason, perhaps because we didn't have the best rental car, no need for it!

Upon arrival, the allocated room was awful with several broken room items with unacceptable bathroom for a 5 stars hotel grade. Then the shift manager Mr. Abdul Rahman changed the room to a completely different quality. We thank his professional gesture.

My wife and me were really delighted and surprised by the kindness and help of all the hotel staff. Really professional and showed the good Jordan hospitality. The breakfast was very good , it is more than money for service value, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for business or leisure hotel in Amman.

This was the highlight of my third trip to Jordan. At reception you are greeted with a drink and a large brass platter of dates and local pastries. The rooms were top class with flat screen TVs. Extremely nice bathrooms - my room had a separate sitting room & the bedroom has a view of the waterfall & balcony. The spa was incredible - hot spring pool under the waterfall and the massage I booked was one of the best I've ever had. My therapist was Pat from Thailand.

This is by far the best hotel I’ve been to in Amman. The rooms are spacious & very clean. While eating breakfast, a hotel rep came by and asked for our thoughts on the hotel and if we recommend any ideas and/or complaints. Breakfast selection, by the way, was very large. Will definitely return in the near future.

We really enjoyed our time at the Movenpick . Charming, quiet (now is a good time to visit Jordan as tourism is a fraction of capacity) lovely staff and a great break especially after all that walking and climbing in Petra . It is different from the rest of Jordan because of its luxury and is isolated as there is no public transport there. We were apprehensive because there were some doubtful reviews but it was excellent and far more charming than the larger but ultimately sterile kempinski next door. You have to pay extra to access the spa and treatments are very expensive indeed.

This hotel is a really good hotel, I have stayed in many hotels in Amman but this hotel ranks one of the top for me. The people were extremely friendly and they were able to provide us a top quality service even though the hotel was fully booked. I highly reccommend and there breakfast is a must

Me and my family spent more than great time, the price is reasonable according to the facilities and the level of luxury. The resort is full of magnificent pools, you cant feel it's crowded even if the hotel is fully booked. There are play activities all over the hotel, you will never get bored there. I didnt like: The lobby was so hot, it is not well conditioned i hope they work on it, i felt like in a sauna while i was checking in! If you booked online, make sure you are there 1 hour before the checkin time 3pm, because it takes time to confirm your online booking, they wast 1 hour of my reservation just to confirm my online booking! I liked: The minibar content was free unlike most of the hotels, although they didnt put alot of drinks. Staff are so friendly and polite. Pools, Pools, Pools ... i can swim all the day in such pools :) The resort is very clean in general.

I was informed that Agoda did not managed to book me in the hotel and thus my booking is not reflecting in their system. I have to wait for quite sometime specially when I arrived there are plenty of guest checking in as it is a weekend. One thing I have consider is that the timing from the place I came from is one(1) hour earlier than in Iqaba. This is due to daylight savings time.

We went to 5 different hotels in Jordan over a period of 8 days. This was the most expensive one and also the one with the least competent and friendly staff. I guess in some other countries you could not complain, here I am just comparing hotels in the same country. Even much cheaper hotels did much better here. Cleanliness was also an issue. The rooms were pretty good, even if the bathroom could use some renovations... The issue was the trash everywhere else. As soon as we got out of our room (3rd floor), there were cigarette butts and other trash laying on the floor everywhere and it stayed that way eventho the cleaning ladies were on the same floor and obviously had to see it. The beach is not only dirty but it's also dangerous to walk barefoot since there were a lot of pieces of broken glass. You can tell that no one really cares much about those things. The one thing that makes this hotel special is the area, because there are some really nice diving spots, actually, even just snorkeling in front of the hotel is already an adventure. But then, there are shuttles from most hotels to get to these spots. All and for all it s not a bad place to stay at but you can do much better for much less money !

After parking my car outside the hotel, I entered the hotel and checked-in at Level 5 of the main building. Then I went down to Level 2, where breakfast is served between 06:30 and 10:30, and there is a large circular swimming pool surrounding by clusters of hotel rooms. The rooms are arranged in such a way that every room has a view of the pool or the sea. (Mine is facing the pool). From the pool, it's a short walk to the promenade, where I can take a lift down to the beach. Towels and showers were available at the pool and the beach. My room is clean and quiet, and prayer songs in the early morning (regular in urban hotels) are absent here. Breakfast selection is good, but the restaurant can be crowded during peak hours (8-9am). There is a small gift shop at L5 of the main building selling Dead Sea products and Jordanian souvenirs. There is also a jacuzzi pool (for adults only) at the beach level. My main complaint is that my stay was too short to enjoy the full range of facilities!

Kempinski is a great hotel. Its location is of utmost important. It is located in area where a lot of restaurants are available to your own likings. There is also a big supermarket called FOOD CITY, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. KFC is also available so as Burger King. Both are on other sides of the hotel within walking distance. The setback is Kempinski has not make available the kettle and tea making facilities in the room. If you want it, it will be a surcharge. Money changer is also in front of the hotel. As for taxi, they will charge if taken in front of the hotel. My advice is to walk a distance away from the hotel and get your taxi there. Going anywhere in Amman should cost you no more than . Please bargain before getting into one. Going to Petra is a must when you are in Jordan. It will take the whole day. Go very early in the morning as it need over 3hrs to reach Petra. 5-6 hrs is needed to see most of Petra. A good taxi will cost return per taxi. Please bargain. The taxi is able to take up to 4 people. Entrance fee is quite expensive of each person.

excellent always stay there, the best hotel in Jordan for the price never tried food there but really like the spa and the gym the best in Jordan, location is great close to everything, only wish rooms were a bit larger holiday inn have bigger rooms for a lot cheaper price, but the quality is not as good as the royal, the name alone is classy royal.

Hotel is in a great location, close to a lot of great restaurants in the Second Circle and 10 mins walk to Rainbow St. The room was comfortable and I slept well. The pool is a good size with a great relaxing terrace area. Breakfast was ok; there were a lot of choices, could be a little tastier but it was good enough to start the day. There are free laundry machines (you have to buy liquid detergent, which I picked up at a supermarket two blocks away). Wi-fi was good. Front desk staff need a little more training. Before I arrived at the hotel, I had phoned them asking for help with my reservation and they kept saying they couldn't help me, that I had to phone the reservations department in the morning. When I did phone back, the front desk said that reservations was busy and they would ask them to call me back; nobody ever phoned me. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

We had what is possibly one of the best stays in terms of value for money and service ever. The resort is modern, light, airy. There are three pools, including a very big one (25 m long) above the beach, a swim up bar and lots and lots of space so you can still have privacy by the main pool. The beach is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel and is big and extremely scenic. You can lounge in the sun before the salt dips and there are mud clay buckets for guests. The rooms are no frills, but very large, modern, bright and airy. We had a choice of pillows and nice soft cotton sheets. Our bed could have fitted our entire family. For children there is a play room with all sorts of games, including play houses, a slide and tents. There is also a separate shaded swimming pool for children so you can sit and watch them without worry. The best aspect of the hotel was the service and attention to detail. Staff from porters to buggy drivers were full of smiles and happy. The hotel manager also sent us baskets of fruits and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and we had a fantastic sea view suite. The hotel was quiet because of the low season, so it felt extra comfortable. The only downside was a long wait for A la Carte dining on one of the nights. But that was the only hitch. Our little 18 month old got spoilt rotten and we really enjoyed chilling out after travelling and shedding the dust of Petra in the sea. If you are travelling to relax as a couple or with children, this hotel has definitely a super feel good factor to it.

This hotel is lovely. I originally only booked one night but enjoyed it so much that I stayed another night. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. When I arrived the Manager even upgraded my room to a suit that had a massive wrap around outdoor terrace overlooking the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there myself again on my next trip to Jordan.

The best experience on our 5 day trip in Jordan. The most amazing staff. The most amazing pools and the experience in the dead sea with the support staff was simply amazing. They made the dead sea experience so comfortable for people by managing lines, towels, fresh water to wash off eyes. The coffee shop was amazing. The dinner and the breakfast buffet was sheer delight. The property is a sight. Highly recommend a stay and at least spend sometime walking and enjoying the property in the evening post sunset. You can see Israel right across the property. Would love to stay again.

We booked to stay at Kempinski Aqaba for 1 night in January. We had wanted to pamper ourselves in a 5-star hotel after living it “rough” in Petra and camping in Wadi Rum on preceding nights. We know Kempinski is a 5-star hotel but the hotel’s service and décor is way beyond our expectations! From the main gate entrance where our car was checked right until the time we checked out, the service of ALL the staffs has been excellent. We were treated with utmost respect and greeted with friendly, genuine smile. Our double room was impeccably clean and luxurious. The furniture and décor of the entire hotel is first class in terms of design and quality. The same can be said about the toiletries in the bathroom. Everything is beyond luxurious! The mini bar is complimentary, so is the internet service in the room, if you have your own laptop. The view from our room is amazing – it faces the Red Sea and beyond that, you can see Israel on a fine, clear day. The beach is beautiful and as we were there during winter, it was not crowded but the sea was a bit cold. Along the beach, there were many beach chairs with mattress so soft and comfortable you have to tear yourself away! Besides the beach chairs, there were also many gazebo-like huts for guests, complete with soft mattress and throws of pillows. The swimming pool is large and overlooks the Red Sea and there is a bar in the middle of it, with stone stools discreetly constructed underneath the surface of the water level. We had dinner at the Fish-In Restaurant and again, we only have good things to say about it. We were greeted by the chef who came to our table personally to introduce the specialties on the menu and to make recommendations to us based on our preferences. We had the best grilled sea bass, preceded by a delicious starter called Arab Mezza, which is a mixed of local Arabic specialties in small portions, both highly recommended by the chef. The breakfast was another thing to rave about! Fist

it is one of the hyatt hotel in jordan, they are vry good training to service. it is same as all other hyatt group. we cehck in night and needed some medical help. hotel contact local doctor and give him what wrong about. doctor gave us description for medication, so hotel staff went to buy some medicine for us even it was late night. very good service even it is unexpected happen. saty this place again.

nice rooms but are slowly getting worn out. e.g. plug boxes beside the bed are dirty, deep scratches in the flooring, showers are sandy,... rocky hotel beach, with possibility to do Dead Sea mud body coating, which is super fun and free. the hotels steam bath, hammem and sauna are not build yet.... but visitors can use spa. the in house Lebanese restaurant is amazing. service is great, professional and friendly. its really a resort, and has a club med feeling to it haha. well, Hilton vacation... haha. internet connection in the room is a little wonky, but it works. rain showers are amazing with great pressure, which is not a given in Jordan.

if you are visting petra and you are in a rush this is probably the best location. the hotel is located within easy walking distance of the entrance to petra. the hotel has friendly and helpful staff; unlike most hotels in jordan. the food is also excellent. our room was small but clean but we hardly spent any time in it. the hotel is also next to a taxi rank which is convenient for getting around the town and getting to wadi rum and dead sea. i would recommend this hotel.

From start to finish, the service was impeccable. From arranging a bottle of prosecco and balloons to our room for my boyfriend's birthday to greeting us at breakfast and being extremely helpful at all times. The hotel is very expensive but you do get what you pay for. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, coffee is nice, pastries are delicious and the fruif juice is actually fresh. Nowhere compared to the W during our 8 nights in Jordan. The pool is in the sun and is beautiful. The gym is ok. Only issue was how ridiculously expensive the food and drinks were (we ate round the pool on the first day). We would stay again for a special occassion as it's very expensive. All staff were great including Moussa, Mo Men and Bilal

The hotel is nicely located and offer a beautiful view to the mountain. The sun sets are very nice, especially from teh big terrace at the pool side, where you can enjoy some drinks or food. We took a room with view to the mountain, which has over charge. It is not necessary to take as it gets dark soon anyways and you will not see anything. Apart from that you can enjoy the view of teh mountain (sunset and sunrise) from the terrace of the hotel or from the garden which is beside the pool. Not so good id that they charge the wifi in your room. This is not common in Jordan. The quality of the food at the buffet is good and its price acceptable (dinner buffet). The hotel staff is very attentive.

Overall experience is that this is a good hotel. However, like so many outlets in jordan, they do suffer from "people"!! I don't know if it is "lack" of training, or that the people just don't know what customer service is about...or are they just lazy???....but there is room for "vast" improvement!! As I said, this is not just a Crone plaza problem, as I have seen same problems elsewhere at other hotels in jordan. Check-in is a nightmare!! they get totally confused with the booking, and take ann age to sort it out..both visits have been the same. when it comes to checking out...you have the same hassle all over again. if you get an arrogant receptionist, as I did, he just did not understand...until i was forced to be FORCEFUL!!...and when he found out he was wrong???...where was the apology???...NO CHANCE!! Positively... the rooms are nice..although it takes the first hour to chase for all the things house-keeping have failed to check!!! However, once you do some of your own house management...it is good!! Hot Spot is a good sports bar, noe enhanced with a good Philippino band!!...it is a good way to spend the evening, after a hard day!!

The hotel design blends perfectly with the surrounding natural environment. We really enjoyed exploring the large complex, watching the sunset from one of the many little outdoor sitting areas, and eating breakfast on the restaurant patio. The staff was able to eventually understand our questions about vegan food options, and were very accommodating. Fantastic beds/linen, and cool relaxing uniquely designed interior. Definitely the most interesting, attractive, and comfortable place we stayed at in Jordan!

This hotel has best location in Aqaba. We were just arrival sunset time and there are beautiful sunset in Aqaba bay!!! We were just run to beach area to spend sunset time even we didn't check in yet, hotel workers smiled and let us do it. It was amazing time to see such a beautiful sunset. Hotel is very nice quality service and setups. We had very nice guide and car from the hotel at night for dinner and shopping. Guide took us to very local shopping area and try to find very price and quality for our request. We were looking for local clothing. Guide took us to best place to buy anything, it was lots of fun night shopping. We were in club floor, so we can have nice drink at evening and breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is very nice in lobby floor restaurant as well. Specially there is some local meal in the lobby restaurant in the morning. Club floor is more basic and western style meal only but very comfortable and quiet. Highly recommended this hotel in Aqaba.
