The place is great to stay, directly next to the station. Upon checkin we were upgraded to the room with a Jungfrau view, which was very nice of them to offer. The room is clean, including the bathroom, and the hotel has great facilities - pool and bike rental (unfortunately they don't have SPD pedals). The included breakfast has enough variety and was filling (no bananas). Internet connection was stable. As with all Switzerland hotels, it is very expensive but I think it was worth the cost on this occasion, comparing to all the nearby hotels.

Good location! Good photography opportunity too! Similar to all hotels in this part of Switzerland, nothing comes cheap, so it's really hard to justify what value-for-money is. Breakfast starts at 0530hrs... so good for those who wants to head out to the mountains early. I have gotten a room facing a very prominent view of the mountains and the main street - that's all good. However, the room itself it's rather dated, shampoo and body wash comes in per use packets. Also, one funny thing: there is no rubbish bin in the room.

Everything was perfect in Interlaken Hotel! Just rated 4 stars on value for money as overall price is high in Switzerland. Staffs were very kind, breakfast was good, shared shower was very clean and the hotel restaurant at ground floor was great. We were touched when the staff arranged to prepare breakfast bag to go when we said that we need to check out early in the next morning. :) One thing to note is that the elevator only goes upto 4th floor, so if you booked 5th floor (with shared bathroom), you should use stairs from 4th floor. Overall, very satisfied stay and I will definitely book this hotel if I visit Interlaken again.

Instead of paying full price to stay in Center Geneva, u can stay here and pay around 60% less ... rooms are super clean, free mineral water top up everyday ... they provide free shuttle from airport to hotel ... they provide card for free public transport rides all over Geneva, city to the hotel by bus is only 20 minutes and buses in geneva are very punctual ... there are a few restaurants nearby which u can have ur dinners, for breakfast there is a nice little cafe which is by the main road, 4-5 mins walk from the hotel which serves superb range of local pastries ... and most importantly all their staff in this hotel is so friendly and accommodating, providing any info needed ... I don’t review many hotels but this hotel really deserve the thumbs up 👍

This older, updated hotel is walking distance to all of city center Zurich. A friend stayed in another close 3 star hotel that was not nearly as nice. The garden behind the hotel with a lovely old fountain helps drown out the busy city noise and provides a tranquil respite from the hurried city life. The biggest negative is the internet situation. One can use a couple of older public computers in the lobby for no charge or pay high fees for wireless in their rooms. I am use to free WFI and faster speeds. Makes conducting business expensive.

Strategic location, near to the train station. It is very convenient if you were to take a tour to Jungfraujoch as it is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel to the train station. We were so lucky to get free upgrade to the nearby sister hotel (Hotel Spinne) which is a 4 stars hotel. The room was clean and tidy. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning to spend your holidays in Grindelwald

Unfortunately I totally forgot to cancel my agoda voucher as this seemed a double booking with the hotel which I came to know at check in . In general my stay was very good and location is very convenient for all sorts of travelers Hotel amenities are 4 star quality Only to comment is the breakfast is very simple and the quality of food is average. At time the room can be very busy with limited service.

We spent 3 nights in Lucerne at the end of our 21 day Switzerland trip in September 2018. We chose one of the apartments available from Alstadt Hotel Krone. The apartments are across the Weinmarkt Square from the hotel in an historic building. The apartment was large and clean with comfortable sofa, king bed, kitchen, roomy bath with washer/dryer. No elevator, but easy stairs. Breakfast was available from the Hotel but we felt it was too pricey so enjoyed finding nearby tearooms for breakfast. Very quiet location. Excellent location in old town Lucerne. We highly recommend.

we decided to stay here because we had to leave Zurich the next day. the hotel has nice decoration. clean and modern. big beds and comforters. one of my favourite stays in Switzerland. the hotel is nice enough for us to leave our baggage 1 day before we checked in while we were visiting Interlaken.

5 mins from the airport by tram. Rooms are quite tiny. Place is silent (soundproof windows). Toilet looks like a closet and cannot be locked from inside. Water is hot. Good shower. Matress comfortable. Breakfast buffet available and has quite a good choice. Washing and drying (laundry - one load) is available for 7 Swiss Franks. Quite expensive though...well, it's Switzerland!

I booked this hotel because it is next to the train station - very convenient. I didn't expect much from a Best Western, but it was comfortable, modern, and had friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good and the atmosphere was homey and comfortable. Room was clean and with modern bathroom. Bathroom lacked some shelf space, but that's a minor point. The neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying, the way I understand it, and it features a few ethnic stores and restaurants, esp Indian. BTW If you've been traveling a long time in Switzerland as I had been and crave some ethnic food, you might try the trendy Asian fusion restaurant called Lily's a few blocks away for dinner.

Hotel is very modern and nicely designed. Good transport links - close to trains and trams. We had a few issues with our reservation- we had booked a room with a bath but the hotel only has showers. The staff were helpful in dealing with this and offered us free breakfast.

Pros: perfect location! The bus 102 and 103 and 21 take ya straight to this hotel from Interlaken OST The staff are the best, really charming and fun. Go strike a conversation or two, and you know you will have a good time. Breakfast was superb! Also they provide tea and desserts at 2-6 pm during your stay! I think the owner has done some beautiful touches around the hotel, and put lots of consideration in its services and staff members for one to feel most at home. I would definately choose this place again! Thank you for being a wondeful addition to our memories in Interlaken, Switzerland, xo

I stayed here during September where it's in low season in Zermatt view room so this is a late review . I enjoyed my stay here, the reception is always so friendly and willing to help, felt the great hospitality throughout. Instead of a hotel, i say this place feels like home with its cozy and homely feeling. the breakfast selection was good , having stayed in switzerland for 2 weeks in different hotels, felt that the cheese selections here have a wide selection. The room was spacious where i can open up my two huge suitcase inside with lots of space. Room and toilet are clean and organised when i stepped in. Would love to stay here again when back in zermatt! Thank you for the great job!

Clean and wonderful view. Closed to the train station. Swimming pool and restaurant was awesome! Service was also perfect and staffs are very delightful. If I have chance to visit Switzerland again, I will choose this hotel.

We spent two nights at this hotel. I maybe reserved the room without breakfast by mistake that is the shame we didnt eat at the hotel at all. The room was fine the view at our room is buildings. For this price we expected a better hotel, we got nothing but regret from the hotel. There are two big bottles of shampoo in the bathroom if you need something else you can ask them to bring you. What kind of hotel is it? Cheap one? I don't think so.

The breakfast is slightly better than other hotels in Switzerland . Room is big and upscale . Design is a bit unconventional with the shower separated from toilet and the wash basin inside the room . Comfy and clean. The hotel is about 5 kms from the airport and direct buses ply only twice an hour.

We didn't expect that much from a Three Star hotel. The decoration is a perfect match of baroque and modern style. The bed was really comfortable and the room very large and clean. You don't have to ask for anything because it's already in the room (kettle, Coffee, Tea, Iron, Safe, Led TV and DVD Player). Breakfast available until 1 PM at least... And finally the Room Service offers a high quality standard Menu (not that expensive), that you could find in very good restaurant. A very Human Sized Place...

The hotel is within walking distance from the train station so there is noise from the trains but this did not bother us. We had a very small room with a sloping ceiling so not great for tall people but we had a view of the mountains. Excellent breakfast with very good choices for vegetarians. Staff were genuinely welcoming, very friendly and polite. Staff are multi lingual and very helpful in giving directions, providing maps, advising on what to see. All facilities are provided in the hotel including umbrellas should it rain, adaptors for loan and multi channel tv. The Bolero restaurant attached serves very good food and wines and has a good atmosphere. Booking two nights entitles you to a transport pass and it is easy to get to Mount Pilatus from the hotel. The only thing I would like to see improved is storage space for our toiletries, maybe a set of wall shelves and also additional coat hooks. If I were to return to Lucerne I would definitely book this hotel again.

The room was clean and organized. The private bathroom was clean and came with amenities. My sister and I only stayed here one night, so we didn't need anything fancy. Hotel Alexander was a good fit for us! This was our first time in Zurich and we didn't do much research before coming. The front desk was very helpful in recommending a restaurant and telling us how to travel to our next location in Switzerland. The hotel is close to lots of shops and restaurants. We came during the summer and the sun didn't set until around 9 PM, so we spent more time walking around the area in the evening. This is located across from a restaurant so I could see people outside my window and people could look in; we just kept the white sheer curtains pulled and it was no problem. However, it was a little noisy due to the businesses outside when places were still open. Overall, we had a good experience staying here.

We were hesitant to book this place as it didn't look that appealing in photos. We were pleasantly surprised that the suite had 2 large bedrooms, separate shower/bathroom and small kitchenette. Getting to the train station/main city centre was relatively easy. Just catch the tram which is very close by. Zurich (and Switzerland) is a very expensive place, but for us this was the cheapest hotel (relative to others). No wifi

I was a bit worried the first time coming to Luzern as a solo traveller. Arrived at Luzern Hbf late in the evening, fortunately the hostel’s location is just a few minutes away from the station. The room was quite decent, with bathroom and kitchen on each. It is probably the best hoste in town with great value for money, especially if your traveling on limited budget around Switzerland.

This is the best hotel during my 18 days of swiss trip. Located 10 minutes walk from Grindelwald train station. If you have lots of luggage, I suggest you to call the hotel to pick you up at no costs. It also includes a free bus ticket during your stay and free entrance to the local swimming and sport centre. I stayed in south-facing balcony room,superb view of the mountain. The welcome fruit basket was very heartful. Hotel also provided bath balls for relaxation. The spa is well equipped with jacuzzi, steam and sauna. The complimentary relaxation tea was delicious. The hotel restaurant was very nice with good atmosphere and very delicious food. The staff was very friendly, there is a super market right across the hotel. Also there are many shops around the hotel which open till late. I highly recommend this hotel to those going to Grindelwald.

this hotel must be the most wonderful hotel in my travel. I just arrive hotel. they open room earlier on 12:00 for my rest . and help me to print ticket. all the room with beautiful view from balcony. and I found a detail that the wifi connection in Chinese. I think they may set language in Chinese for me. although it's a little service, it shows this hotel take all the details into their consider. that will be helpful to many chinese old people. the travel experience in Switzerland is great. all people here are nice. this hotel is one of the great service in Switzerland. thank you very much for your kindly help.

the hotel is about 5 minutes walk from train station and located next to the oldest village in the town. the hotel room was very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, balcony at every room with nice scenery. the hotel owner was very friendly, helped us with the luggage. free breakfast was simple but delicious, perhaps they could add more choices of food would be greater. overall, my family and i had the best stay at this hotel during our europe trip. best value with reasonable price in switzerland. absolutely recommend to everyone.

Plus sides: Room is big and clean They refill the minibar in room everyday with chips, mineral water, lemonade etc. The restaurant downstairs is good for dinner though a bit expensive, but prices in Switzerland are steep in general Nice gym 10 min walk from train station, slopes manageable even with big luggage’s Down sides: For breakfast do not provide the freshly cut fruits (melons) when there are group tourists, only put them out after they have left, which is a bit cheap in my view for a hotel in this price range Laundry is self-service with one washing machine and dryer, have to queue to do laundry and dryer does not work very well View of Eiger partially blocked by buildings in front, our room easily seen by people on streets, the view really not as great as we expected Overall, I’d stay in another hotel next time with this price

Stayed in a Junior Suite with balcony with Lake View. View from balcony is simply awesome. The room has a homely feel. The friendly and cheerful hotel manager makes the stay feel even more homely. 3 minutes walk to a convenience store. To Rigi area for the cable car and cogwheel railway is only a 5 minutes drive. Will surely return if I travel to Switzerland again.
