Apartments are very spacious and clean. It would be perfect only if there are 3 bathrooms. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and found it boring after 2 days, same food everyday. The service at the Dunes Cafe can be improved. Sometimes can’t get the attention of the staff.”

“As usual it was indeed a pleasant at Carlton palace once again. Both the front office manager Mr Shiyam and front desk Hicham are an asset to this hotel. The responsible persons in this hotel should make sure that these two and the rest of the staff who are extremely good in their attitude are well taken care of. In fact I have written a big complaint about Emirates airline and quoted Carlton palace as a test case for them to learn from.”

“I had a pleasant stay at Emirates Grand Hotel. I read in the reviews that it was a 5 star hotel with 4 star price, and they were definitely right. It sits among all the other 5 star hotels in the vicinity but they're worth the money. The bed was large and comfortable, the furnishings and colours were soothing, there was a kitchen area that was spacious, the service was good, staff was friendly. I also love that its only 15 min walk to the Burj Khalifa (something you can do on a cool day), otherwise just jump on the train that is 5 min walk from the hotel that can take you to the Burj Khalifa in 2 stops.”

“We had a 3 day stopover on the way from Thailand to UK - Thai passport holders can now get a visa for 72 hours from Emirates Airlines. The room was a suite with a living room and kitchen and 2 toilets. We were in Dubai in June and we needed the room as a respite from the midday heat so the extra space was very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were exceptional all around the hotel, but especially in the restaurant even making hash browns fro my 8 yr old when they were not in the buffet on the 2nd day. We will return to La Verda if we visit Dubai in the future.”

“It was just a long weekend stay (two-nights) with my cousin and sister (both are visiting tourists Dubai-based). There were three of us but I had the option to purchase an extra bed and buffet breakfast for the Gulf View Room and it was all worth it. We did the Abu Dhabi tour on our own using GPS and Google map. The hotel is 12 minutes’ drive away from the Grand Mosque and 17 minutes’ drive away from Yas Mall. We did a circuit tour of Abu Dhabi starting from the Grand Mosque, then drove to Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, walked to the Emirates Palace and viewed it from the Observatory Deck at 300, then we drove through the coastal road going to Yas Mall and then finally back to Al Raha Beach Hotel. It was a relaxing tour and the hotel was a welcoming place to stay and rest for the night.”

“I've stayed there several times. People criticize this hotel and make it out to be some sort of after hours bordello. It is not. It is true than a fair number of "working girls" can be found outside the hotel after dark who are trying to find a "date" for a few hours. However, what most people fail to mention is that the hotel will NOT ALLOW these girls into the guest rooms and they are very strict about that. For the extremely affordable price you pay for a room here - you get a lot. The rooms are very clean including the bathrooms. TV is in most common languages. Food from room service is very good. For the money - you will never find better service. That being said, the critics of this hotel are the sort of "cheap" people who want a "5 star" treatment for a "2 star" price and are upset when it is not delivered. The York does, however, deliver a 4 star treatment for a "2 star price" and that is a bargain anywhere.”

“This truly was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I can find fault with all my accommodation but this truly ticked ALL the boxes. The position and views were stunning looking out at the Atlantic Hotel, The Palm and over the sea. The beach and beautiful 4 poster beds on the beach had towels rolled up and waiting for the guests to use, the accommodation they have is to suit every taste, the entrance to hotel with hundreds of fresh flowers changed everyday with different colours, the tuk-tuk to take you around the site if the 4 min walk from area to area is too hot for you, the staff were so lovely (everyone we met was amazing and truly went out of there way), the arrival with a beautiful juice and wet towel to refresh, the chairs to sit on at reception whilst you check-in in comfort, the lotus lounge over looking the pool and sea for coffee, cake and high tea was stunning, the breakfast was truly the best catered for with variety so if you stay there a week you still would not be bored, the beach house restaurant over looking the sea had fab food and outlook and this hotel had the best kids club I have ever found at any hotel where they take the child and with around 5 + staff they really get creative with the kids, have playstation, face painting, drawing, dvd's and really good attention to the kids. My child did not want to leave after many hours in there. This gave my husband and I several hours to do what we wanted knowing our child was really enjoying the kids club. Truly we will be back. Also the courtesy bus to the Dubai Mall is great as well. We stayed in a Lagoon Room on 1st floor and we felt totally private in our own lovely resort. Thank you for a fabulous stay and sure to be back. It is pricey to stay here for accommodation and food. Mr & Mrs Baker - Australia”

“A good hotel with a good restaurant and nice pool. Location next to good eateries, Starbucks and pharmacy. The metro system is a 4 minute walk and easy access. The maintenance of the jacuzzi and steam room was not the best and on several occasions did not work or had insufficient water. They have free shuttle to kite beach. Travel/tour operator in lobby very good. Booked a desert safari and was not disappointed. Hotel a bit expensive for what you could get at other hotels same category in Dubai. Location is the selling point as on Sheikh Zayed road and close to Mall of Emirates and Burj Khalifa tower.”

“We started our stay in Dubai at this hotel for the first two nights and then transferred to the IBIS Mall of the Emirates. Compared to the room at the IBIS, this hotel was great, but as a value in itself, it definitely doesn't feel like a $300 a night hotel. The location is nice. It's a 10 minute walk to the metro station. Then you take one stop to the Emirates Mall station. From the station to the mall is a 15 minute walk through an air conditioned corridor. The hotel is walking distance to coffee shops and "Zait wa Zaatar" which is a really good breakfast and lunch restaurant with arabic food. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is also spacious and nice. There's nothing bad I can say about the hotel, except I probably wouldn't stay there again just for the price. Since you have to take taxis everywhere anyway, you can find a nice hotel a little farther away.”

“My family and I had a great stay at Tulip Hotel Apartments Dubai. The hotel did not have much amenities but the complete set of appliances and equipment in the unit needed for long-term stay and the free basement parking were a big plus. The staff were responsive and polite to our requests. Everything was as advertised. We would not hesitate to book the same hotel if ever we will return to Dubai in the near future.”

We had AMAZING view from our room over Gulf , Burj Khalifa and Burj al Arab and overlooking the top of aquarium !!! Wifi also very good but you have to pay for it . We also had imperial lounge for 700aed/day - sushi , cakes , fresh juices , a lot of delicious food all day long ! Scones with afternoon tea were the best ! A bit too crowded because of tourists , that r visiting the hotel ! Also very nice food at Nasimi beach ( try their pizza with black caviar ) and Asian restraunt !”

“We were surprised by the front desk staff to upgrade us to Premium Room upon our arrival to check-in to our Superior Room booked via Agoda. The room although on a smoking floor but there was no smoking smell in the corridor nor in the hotel room so we decided to stay in the Premium Room without any more changes. The room was clean & spacious with quite good city view. We were on high floor on 56th level & it was magnificent. The hotel staffs were all very friendly. Only the hotel lobby was not as grand as we had thought. The hotel location was fantastic as it was located right outside the train station. It was so convenient to travel to the Creek, Dubail Mall, Mall of Emirates & other attraction places. We wish we could stay there for a few more days unfortunately we needed to leave to Frankfurt, Germany for an exhibition. Only slight disappointment was the requested airport transfer when we arrived at Dubai International Airport, the sign was so small that we missed the driver for the first time. We had to look all over again carefully & finally found the driver. Then we had to walk to the car park to get his car as we thought he should be able to pick us up at the arrival driveway. He also did not put on a smile. Maybe it was very early morning 2am to pick us up & he might be also sleepy & tired. So we did not bother about him too much. It was kind of weird when we arrived to the hotel at the back entrance instead of front entrance. The room that we stayed had the water tap not fixed properly at the toilet washing basin. We did ask for room service to fix it but it was not fixed. The room cleaning service did take quite a long time to do as we were thinking there were so many rooms to handle. So we did not really complain much about this as we were out whole day. The hotel swimming pool was too small & too cold to swim as it was not heated up like the one we had in Krabi Thailand where it was an outdoor pool but was heated up for warmth. There was not e”

“This was our first stay in Abu Dhabi and I'm so pleased we chose to stay at the Anantara Easern Mangroves. It's a little out the way from the city centre but we were aware of this when we booked as we were looking for somewhere away from the hussel of the centre, also Taxi's are plentiful and very reasonably priced. The staff were the best thing about the hotel, attentive but not over powering, every person we encountered were helpful, freindly and knowledgeable. To anyone that stays at the hotel I would strongly recommend pre booking for the breakfast! Probably one of the best I have ever had in a hotel! Also the Thai restaurant was amazing. We will definalty be back and will ensure we stay for a lot longer. I've also already put friends onto this hotel and feel more than comfortable in doing so. Thankyou Anantara for a wonderful stay 🙂 Sally and Stephen (Australia)”

“The location of the hotel is central - would have been a two minute walk to The Dubai Mall however unfortunately there is a lot of construction happening around the hotel, so you have to walk around the block which only takes 10 minutes. The hotel also offers a free hourly shuttle service to the mall and back which is really convenient. The staff were very friendly, and did their best to assist with any enquiries. We arrived early and they gave us a complimentary upgrade as we had a baby and it was also my husbands birthday. A special thank you to Razi for going out of his way and organising this, and all other enquiries we had throughout our stay. The poolside views and some room views are blocked off by construction. Cleanliness could be a little improved, a long with the state of bathrooms / furniture etc. Overall a good stay - rating 4 stars.”

“We felt very lucky to have chosen this hotel to spend eight nights in while visiting Dubai. Until now with our frequent visits to Dubai since 1993, this hotel in our view was the best. We congratulate the manager, Mr Eltohamy who has made the hotel up to a high standard of services and guest satisfaction. The welcoming smile of the reception staff who were very helpful and understanding, especially Faizan, were the first to be appreciated. The Guest relation officer was a definite asset through listening to guests’ problems and desire in order to resolve them promptly. The hotel lobby was an attractive atmosphere strengthened by the continuous offering of Arabic coffee and fresh dates while sitting in the lobby. The suites were spacious and well furnished with excellent original furniture. Tea and coffee making facilities in addition to the well-equipped kitchen made life very easy. Most useful was the free strong Wi-Fi connection in the suites. An unusual but rather a feature we found it in the suite is the many framed paintings even in the bathroom. The hotel was very centrally located and opposite to the famous Deira City centre shopping mall, metro station and local restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient and included varieties of tasty food supported by excellent helpful serving staff. We highly recommend this hotel which we shall return to whenever we visit Dubai in the future”

“Great thanks to the hotel staff for their quick response to anything the guest need. Specious villa with high quality furniture along with comfortable bed. The design of the villa is amazing with clear view from the floor-to-ceiling glass doors to the outside. overall it was great time I had there. At the time I was there, I had some issue I didn't like it at all. The UAE government booked some villas for private event (around 80% of the resort) and during the event time one Resturant was able to serve us while other denied the access. The most bad thing happened that the helicopter brought some guests and they cross the resorts above the villas without considering the privacy for the guests (they should fly around the resorts to the H point). I strongly complain to the hotel about that, and suggested if they have special guests and they'll close some major area for them to tell the guests before booking or to close the resort for their special one.”

Supermarkets, pharmacies, saloons, spa, laundry & restaurants also conveniently located near the hotel. The staff at the reception was very helpful, extremely polite & the best part is they SMILE all the time. They assisted us in getting a taxi to go to Dubai Miracle Garden & our 2nd hotel at Dubai Marina. The housekeeping staff also very helpful and do their job well done. “Located in Downtown Dubai, the Ramada Suites were fantastic! Restaurants are expensive in Dubai, so it was great having a fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine & dishwasher. They also provided us with tea & coffee daily as well as shampoos etc. In addition, they provided us with toothbrushes, sewing kit & a razor (great for the forgetful traveler!) The view from our room was phenomenal! It overlooked the musical fountains, and was right opposite the Burj Khalifa. The hotel offers a free shuffle to the Dubai Mall, but not frequently enough. However, it is a pleasant 10 minute walk, if you don't mind the scorching sun! They did say you had to catch a taxi if you wanted to get to the Emirates Mall (about 30 Dirhams) but you can catch a train from the Dubai Mall for 6.50pp. I rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars, and the only reason I would have given 4 and not 5, is because the shuttles do not run frequently enough (there is only 1 shuttle to Jumeirah Beach @ 1pm - who would want to go to the beach in the midday heat is beyond me!) but you need to find your own way back home. It would have been nice to have a shuttle to the Burj Al Arab & Atlantis (even for a nominal fee). Otherwise a great hotel, and probably the nicest thing about our trip. (PS : The dining got 3 - working on an average because we actually didn't eat at the hotel restaurant)”

“If you want to stay for a night and have a good privacy, book this hotel. The location is just behind KFC near Baniyas Metro Station. There are a number of landmarks including Day to Day, 1-10, Souq and local restaurants nearby. The hotel can be better in terms of cleanliness. I saw some face powder on the coffee table just beside the bed. Hence, the cleaner tried to clean it after I reported it. For facilities, you can see some wear and tear. One of the lamps in my room is broken. One of the light switch is also not working. The internet connection is erratic. For staff, the cleaner named Angel is very helpful on providing information about the hotel and nearby establishments. This hotel can be better if the facilities and the cleanliness will be taken care of. PROS: very near from metro, free towels, 2 bottled water and toiletries, comfortable beds, side tables, security box, flat screen TV, huge mirrors and cheap buffet. CONS: erratic internet connection, not maintained well”

“Modern and in a convenient location with charming staff, this hotel was exactly what I was hoping for. Big pluses where good room service food and comfortable bed. Minuses - there seemed to be some kind of organisational issues there. I called in advance and asked for an early checkin time and was told no problem. Upon arrival- this proved not to be the case but in all fairness the staff did their best to get us in as soon as possible. It was not unusual for the room to b made up later in the day and there was some kind of problem putting charges on the hotel bill in spite of taking the credit card imprint . But these were minor hiccups overall and only slightly diluted what I felt was an excellent hotel experience. Would I stay there again ? Most likely yes 😊”

I stayed there for 2 nights (3 days), everyday I wack up early, have a breakfast and go for work, I come back at 1 pm, have a brief sleep and then go out again, I come back at 11 pm and sleep, and so on. Yes there is a television and a sitting area, but it's not so attractive. I should not forget to mention that it's not a no-smoking-area, unfortunately! If you are not a smoker and you hate smoking (like I do), you will have to pray that you be in a room with no smokers.

Very impressed by the service level when checking in. Very clean facilities and staff was prompt to our request whenever we had one. Hotel was also near to Dubai Mall. The only downside is the construction which is going on around the hotel location which make it a bit challenging to locate by the Taxi Drivers. Be wary when taking taxi back to hotel from Dubai Mall as the drivers are likely to be unhappy due to the close proximity to the hotel. We avoided the walking option due to the on-going construction in the area.”

“We visited Radisson from Dubai for a 2 night stay. It was our 4th visit in last 6 years. The hotel itself is in a very scenic location w a clean beach and well maintained property. It lost one star for the limited external food options - an important factor since most members in our group are pure vegetarians. And there is only so much pasta/ pizza one can eat. We went to Lulu Supermarket which has a good food counter. Keep in mind that the hotel does not encourage bringing food back. Breakfast buffet is good for non vegetarians, but the choices for vegetarians are relatively limited once you discount bread or porridge. One day it was excellent, the next day not so much. The Arabic fare wasn’t great either days, and quality seems to have dropped since our last visit. The cappuccino was good Service - front desk, restaurants and housekeeping - was excellent. And, even better than our prior visit. With the beach, 2 pools and a gym there is plenty to keep one engaged.”

“The only downside to travelling with Emirates is that we always arrive in Dubai at the weirdest time of the day, like 7AM (when flying from Tokyo), which obviously means that there is a high chance your room will not be ready at the time of arrival... But with that being said, the stay at the hotel was just great. So we arrive at the hotel at 9AM and the receptionist tells me the room was not ready, they did have a room we could have stayed in for a couple of hours but it was a suite and very expensive, so we decided to wait by the pool and relax. And the pool, though it is quite small, has a stunning view of Dubai. and the staff is so kind and etc. very very happy. then just before noon (2hours before the usual check-in time) they sent one of the staff over to let us know our room was ready. and the room itself was so spacious and very very clean. every single staff i ran into during my stay were all very agreeable. I am so happy i chose this hotel and i am definitely going back the next time I am in Dubai.”

We were escorted from our gate to the check in desk by a very pleasant and professional fellow. Our check in was quick and easy and, even though we arrived close to 1am, we were able to get some real food in the executive lounge. The room was comfortable and spacious. We particularly appreciated the massage chair after a long flight. We slept comfortably and were off on our next flight. It was so convenient and luxurious. Room is very nice and we prefer the garden room as it is near to the pool (villa is quite far). Our second impression is the food as everything was so fresh - fruits/ salads and even seafood like oyster and sashimi. We had breakfast and dinner buffet everyday during our stay and admit that these were the best buffet we had in UAE ( as compare to seafood buffet at Saffron @ Atlantis the Palm, and lunch buffet at Le Vendome @ Emirates Palace ). Service was also excellent. Every staffs always greeted you with a smile. Besides we were lucky to see Miss Ivory who was willing to take us for the hotel tour. The hotel rooms were very large and the internal decor was high end and very nicely themed (subtle Arabic). The pool is nice, however, it was rather disappointing that our view of the beach and sun was restricted completely with the Ramadan tent. “Booked 2 rooms for 5 days each following the reviews that hotel was beautiful and according to pictures the lobby looked impressive. On arrival so disappointed since the lobby was minuscule and the decor which was promoted as exquisite was really tacky... maybe they do not know how elegance is translated in Europe but this was ugly and tiny. 4 stars hotels have bugger lobbies and facilities to qualify all 5 stars The check in was so crowded, some couples were complaining they had been waiting for 2 hours. We did not have to wait that long since we had somebody in a wheel chair hence were helped earlier. Though we arrived at 15:00 only one room was ready and had to wait for the second one, The rooms had a decent size, beds were perfect and comfortable, pillows excellent. Again bedrooms and corridors with a ugly style, a bad copy of European grandeur. I would suggest to change the decor to Arabic style or any other that is well interpretated. Breakfast was excellent, employees everywhere very friendly. Would suggest to hire more employees for the reception to avoid guests waiting for. Ore than 2 hours to check in,”

“I totally relied on info from the Internet on Dubai hotel apartments , without knowing where would be a good place to stay. It was a good thing I found this place, as it not only offered good reviews, but also a promotional rate on Agoda. Don't be fooled by the facade of this hotel as it may look crappy on the outside, but it's different on the inside. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and I was very pleased with the way the apartment turned out. It was HUGE! I think you could easily fit a family of 5 or 6 people in there. In 1 room, there was a queen sized bed, and on the other room, were 2 single beds. There's also a fully equipped kitchen, with washing machine and ironing board. The living hall is pretty big, with a nice comfortable leather sofa. There are a total of 2 bathrooms as well, plus a single toilet located outside the living hall. More importantly, the beds were comfortable and CLEAN, and the bathrooms were very clean as well, with a standing shower in one of the rooms, and a bathtub in the master bedroom. There are 2 LCD TVs, one in the living hall, and the other in the master bedroom. I'd stay in this place again if I visit Dubai again. Once the Dubai Metro is completed, the nearest station to this hotel would be the Abu Bakar Al Siddique station. Taxis are also easy to get as it faces the main road.”

“the hotel is located on shiekh zayed road, close to many attractions (dubai mall, mall of emirates). we booked the studio, the room was big. they do not have valet parking which wasnt very convenient, however the parking is right behind the hotel so it wasnt a big deal (but its an unshaded parking). the staff were very friendly. the breakfast was delicious with lots of varieties”

“I booked a night's stay in this hotel and it was just perfect. The check-in and check-out was quite fast and the receptionist Mr. Shivam was very courteous. I booked a studio on a cheaper rate but they upgraded me to a one-bedroom apartment with fully-functional amenities. The unit was spotless-clean as well. The location of the hotel was strategic. It is just a stone-throw away from Al-Qiyadah Metro Station (Green Line) and there are restaurants and cafeteria around the vicinity.”

“The staff is very hard working and honest. Excellent service always at 5 stars + level from the valet parking to the in room service. even you will find Hi Tec oven and the 2 42 inches flat screen tv one in the living room and one in the bed room. I was upgraded to the king bed suite which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view of abu dhabi. the staff at check in are the best in town making your stay truely stress free. Only regret is that they did not have a welcome fruit basket available. In the lobby you will find dates, arabic coffee & Iced Tea.........”

“Excellent Hotel. Service was superb from the front desk, to the concierge, room service etc. Rooms have been totally renovated and ooze style. Beds super comfortable. Eventhough this hotel is classed as a 4 star it has everything that you would expect from a 5 star down to hotel stationary in the room, full mini bar, tea/coffee making facilties, 24 hour room service, toiletries, large plasma, in room safe, dry cleaning service, buffet restaurant, sports bar and lobby coffee/light snacks restaurant. I totally enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The hotel is located in Deira City near the gold souk and 15 minutes from the airport and around 30 mins from Jumeriah Beach. There is a huge shopping mall (fantastic!) around 3km from the hotel - Deira City.”

“First of all, I'd like to tell that this hotel is one of the best because of its staff, they are very professional, polite, helpful, good listeners, immediate assistance, the fastest check-in/check-out ever (5 Minutes Maximum), friendly and smiley at all times, simply they are above and beyond, that's more than enough to make any hotel above ranking than most of Dubai hotels. A dedicated special thanks to Mr. Khalid in reception and his colleagues. Value for money where always you will get more than what you paid at all levels. The hotel location is accessible wherein the heart of Tecom and all the needed facilities are within walking distance. My room was very tidy, clean and spacious, and when I requested makeup for the room on the next day; the housekeeping reset everything into its standard, I felt just like I checked-in once again, many thanks for the outstanding effort. I recommend this hotel to everyone, certainly I will always come back.”
