No restaurant. The front office staff promise to deliver breakfast to the room but they did not serve the breakfast to the room on time. Very dissappointed and check out the hotel without breakfast.

The property was very well maintained and close proximity to Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai Junction, Bus Stand and has many good restaurants around based on V & NV. Only thing I need to mention they are not allowing for early check-in and we had to wait for close to an hour to get the room. Its value for money....

the staff at this stay was excellent . from door man, desk, room cleaners. the staff on our floor were very helpful helped made our stay enjoyable. laundry was affordable ,quick, very clean. morning breakfast was in a good local restaurant across the small street.being westerners a little concerned about food. the staff welcomed us helped with order. food was good quality and they keept topping up our plates, didnt go hungry .coffee and tea kept being offered. every morning same service. thanks to them. the hotel sells water and other drinks at a very cheap price. we all enjoyed our stay, location was the best, walking at night to temple, street shops and friendly people every place in the area. thank you.

Horrible Hotel ”
Money minded horrible hotel. We booked a family room for 2 Adults ( husband & me) and 2 children (8 & 10 years old) . The room was very small with 2 king size bed. We hardly had space to walk after putting our luggage. The Travel desk and reception was rude. We booked a car with driver for temple visit and they gave us a car with a driver who almost met with an accident through the journey. We asked the driver if he was alright and he mentioned he hardly had any rest as he only finished his other job past midnight the night before. Due to this we refuse to book car from the travel desk for our next journey and the front desk staff were rude and made it a difficult process during check out. I would strongly discourage you to deal with anyone from this hotel. Instead, please consider staying in places like Regency Madurai by GRT Hotels and Madurai Residency where we only had pleasant experiences.

Disappointed booking with Hotel Lotus . Never will book again”
Cons : I have booked 3 rooms and called inform on late check in due to heavy traffic while traveling from velankani to Madurai . Staff attended my call inform no worries everything was in order . I have spoke 3 times with the same staff name SashiKumar , if not mistaken this is his name . Disappointed heartbreaking upon arrival there is no room available , my booking was full paid via Agoda yet my rooms was sell to other customer without informing or proper cancellation deal with me . So much hassles and tiredness upon arrival .. Pons , after waited so long , discussion and urguments staff name Nagaraj help to arrange some other hotels for our stay . Overall never will book this property even it’s located in good place . Regret and unhappy with the service .

Good location, but very busy street”
Location wise is good,but for Tempo parking is difficult - you need pay for parking. Breakfast is provided at opposite Restaurant - was good Wifi only available at Lobby- average speed is 2mbps Staff is very attentive.

very bad customer support by the staff.”
they actually said that they have not receive any confirmation of our booking from Agoda and hence we did not stay here.. we asked them to atleast give us confirmation of us being there and they denying the room, they would not give us any thing in writing to that effect. with 4 kids and 6 adults we were left with no place to stay and we CE back.driving from Madurai to BLR very pathetic attitude from.hotel staff, if it is Agoda that is at fault then I will never make another reservation through Agoda.
