Had a triple room. Heater in the room is controlled by the building so the room is warm only at times. The staff were kind enough to give me an individual heater for the room. The restaurant staff was also friendly and we had an excellent lunch there. The hotel is located near ro a lot of good restaurants. Dunnes and tesco were also nearby.
Would definitely recommend Jury's to friends. This was our 1st trip away with our 9 month old and the staff cudnt have been more helpful. Every part of the trip was great especially Karolynn in the restaurant. When we arrived we needed to feed our wee man and she was so helpful made us up food for him nothing was any trouble. Will definitely stay here again.
Excellent value for money, great facilities and great staff”
Really enjoyed my stay here - it was only for one night. I had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice and the staff were very friendly and chatty. The room was very comfortable and I had a perfect nights sleep.
Great location ”
The hotel provided air con machines in everyroom which was fantastic with the current heatwave we are experiencing in Ireland. We were attending a concert at the Marquee, the hotel is ideally located a 20 minute walk from it.
Cocktail Disaster ingredients wrong not good enough at €9 a drink”
Ordered Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri x3 at €9 each ... They were just awful Almost white in colour instead of red served with lemon slice instead of fresh Strawberries I think staff need training in making proper cocktails In not someone to complain but I mean €9 a cocktail and it just lacked everything advertise cocktails and not even the ingredients very disappointed..
A gem in the heart of Cork”
I had a great view over the city. The room was modern clean and comfortable. Close to all amenities. Friendly staff. There is a small car park that can get full. There is an alternative close by with low rates. Overall a great place to stay.
stayed in Cork for a Rugby Match. Buses on strike but taxis reasonable. 15 Euros from airport. Jurys in good central location. Good clean hotel, excellent staff, good food & drink. no more expensive than pubs in the city.
This was my first stay at any Jurys Inn, and it exceed my expectations. I was able to find street parking and purchased a parking voucher from the reception staff so I didn't need to move the car in the early morning. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and bed and pillows very comfortsble. The water for the shower was hot and the pressure was strong. There was a cafe and food area that looked nice, but I didn't eat there. I walked to a nearby Starbucks in the morning for coffee instead. Overall, my experience was great!
Lovely staff, but choose a room at the rear of the hotel”
The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are helpful and welcoming. I have a problem with the radiators in my room which would bang for about 15 minutes at 5am due an issue with the pipes. I was offered another room, when I brought this to the notice of the receptionist. My room at the front of the hotel was double glazed but there was still quite a bit of road noise, especially from the car waiting at the junction, this went on till very late in the night. I would recommend taking a room at the back of the hotel to overcome this. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat here. The hotel is close enough to the town centre to have choice of places to eat. My room was spotless on arrival, but it wasn't serviced on my second day, and the dirty towels were still in the bath where I left them. When I left the label on the door on my third day the room had been cleaned, and the towels replaced. Still, for the price paid, and overall standard I would stay again.
There was a group of lads presumably on a stag party who were noisy and caused a bit of nuisance. Other than that was a good experience. Pity the residents bar closes at 1.30am it seems a little early.
Found hotel v convienant as we traveled by bus and hotel is walking distance from bus.”
We found all staff to be very professional. Room was lovely and clean as was ensuite, and quite as was as was asked for.breakfast was a real treat.lovely juice as much as one could eat as self service.had a prob wit eggs being over done and then too soft but was given one free breakfast as a form of sorry which was so kind.our bags were kept for us while we shopped til the eve.scones at breakfast were awesome.ever one of the staff looked like they loved their job .well-done to all at jury's.we will be back.
Nice place- would have no problem staying again”
It was clean, staff where nice and it is 2 mins from Patrick's Street. No complaints. Have stayed here before many year ago and it hasn't changed. Just be wary that Cork is a great place fro stag and hen parties so Friday and Saturdays might be a little more noisy.
Near train and rental cars. ”
Location is perfectly situation for into and out of Cork. High speed train from to Dublin easy. Rental car two minute walk. Roller bags to hotel within five minutes of car or train. Hotel is pleasant with good staff. Key positive is location to town center action and very fine selection of restaurants.
very noisy, can hear everthing in next room- awful”
we would have had a wonderful stay. Great view, great location. However, there is no soundproofing between adjoining rooms. Being woken in the middle of the night, hearing EVERYTHING the couple next door were up to completely spoilt our stay. If they got adequate sound proofing between rooms this would be a brilliant hotel.
Helpful staff / Good value room”
Our stay was very nice. Check-in and check-out were fast and painless and the location of the hotel was pretty good. The staff was extremely helpful as they showed us on a map some good places to watch the World Cup game that was showing that evening. My only complaint, at night we had to sleep with our windows open because there was no air conditioner in the room and it got hot...so we didn't sleep that well because of the noise. Perhaps from a higher floor this wouldn't have been a problem though. Overall, nice place and I would stay there again!
Great locatio to access the city”
The hotel provided walking access to the city and surrounding sites. Parking was on a first in basis, which did pose some problems on the first night of our stay, but with helpful advice from reception staff an acceptable alternative was found. The rooms were clean, bright and spacious and well service each day.
Great location ”
The hotel was easy to find since its right on the river. The brekfast was very good with more choices than some of the other hotels where we stayed in Ireland. The room we got was updated and had a nice view of the river.Wifi was 5 euro an hour in the lobby.
clean, good location. good services. I would stay here again!
Very friendly staff. Rooms very warm and comfortable Good value for money”
When I can get the room for 49 to 50 euro a head it’s great value. Have always got a parking spot. Very handy when out in the city.
Perfect location, lovely room with view. Very friendly staff. Excellent food and value for money
