Nice”
Nice well maintained hotel with all facilities. We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment during June 2018. Had lot of problem with internet for first couple of days. The problem was local to our apartment. After two days this was fixed. Apart from that, it was good.

Very nice villa”
Excellent villa rent, very pretty and good location, comes with a car (which i didn’t know so was a good surprise). Was stolen a wing mirror during a day at the beach and hotel didn’t charge me = appreciated. Breakfast very good and diverse till 11am. Lunch dinners are overpriced but as all in Seychelles. Manager facilitated our stay, appreciated to get attention and help when needed.

Selling expired products with a smile on the face. Just amazing how staff reacted on complain about expired products in the room - all of a sudden they forgot english and a dorky smile with complete ignorance. Got fully charged for expired products with no excuse. Same expired products were returned to the room in a few hours ! Bravo. P.s. Antique Nespresso capsules from museum also present in the hotel room. Otherwise - great place great location.

Beautiful, quaint hotel”
My husband and I loved our stay in Le Duc. The staff were extremely helpful, the hotel's beach bar was right on Anse Volbert beach (one of the nicest beaches in Praslin, in my opinion), and the hotel was nicely located. From there, it was an easy 5 minute walk to Anse Volbert village where there were a lot of other restaurant options and souvenir shops. We also loved the cozy, island design of the hotel. a definite thumbs-up for this one!

Lovely hotel”
This is a lovely boutique hotel, pool area is very well kept and although not large, it was always possible to get a subbed. We stayed in a family room which was spacious and had a great balcony. The bar at the beach is trendy and was a great place to watch the football World Cup!

A perfect location of the end of a perfect holiday”
Great restaurant, friendly people, small size
From the time of check-in the hotel staff were wonderful. Friendly and flexible. It felt like being in a first class hotel but with a family feel (only 28 big rooms). The hotel as an art feel...or more precisely a mixture of arts! The restaurant is great and the Café des Arts is the best on the island. It is obviously not like a big resort but it has everything you need and want + very lovely staff to look after you

Delightful and hosptitable. Would recommend it.”
The hotel has a beautiful tropical garden with a nice swimmingpool and wonderful terrace adjacent to the restaurant/bar. The garden is enclosed by the houses which facilitate the hotel rooms. We had a familyroom which is spacious and consists of nice furniture. The relatively large balcony overlooks the beatiful garden and swimmingpool. The airco functions well. The personel is friendly and does anything to make you feel at comfort. We had half board. The breakfast was just wonderfull and there was nothing we missed. The cooc prepares your eggs or pancakes the way you like it. The service is very good. As for the diner, it has alternating buffets and 4-course diner. The buffets are different on each day (Creole, Asian, fish). The way to the beach is easy, about 100m. Down the beach you'll find the cocktail/lunch bar where you can also eat for dinner against reduced price when you booked half board. At the beach you'll find Sagitarrius taxi boat tours which is definately recommended.

a very nice holiday in praslin. the hotel buffet is great. only 1 min walk from the beach, so nice. I lived in room 4, it is on the northwest edge of the hotel. there was a dog barked all night one night, drove me crazy. The rest is fine. test the bike lock when the guard gives it to you.

Rooms are spacious with wooden (old school) furniture. A few seconds away from the beach (Anse Volbert) and a few minutes away from small family marts. Overall, a relaxing stay although a bit pricey compared to the level of service.

Great place, wonderful staff...”
Great hotel, lovely and friendly staff, rooms are fantastic, ours was a superior, very clean, nice design, the place is full of nice decorations and artsy features.., Breakfast is amazing, haven't tried lunch or dinner. Barman is very nuce and helps serves drinks at the small pool. One thing annoyed me, the Internet connection is slow and its log on method is weird, u have to log in again every hour or so and again and again, annoying if you work or ise the internet. I didn't ask if they can fix it also. All in all its a great place to stay at.

Very nice and cozy atomosphere even through soli travelers. Beach is quite beautiful and clean.”
Quality of food, not too bad. But a slightly expensive and lack of menu choice at the time of lunch. Hotel says a couple of restaurant have more wide range of choice of food menu, it takes in a minutes walk from the hotel. In my opinion, it might be better if the hotel offers more opportunity, I could have appreciated them.

Enjoyable stay at Le Duc”
We enjoyed our stay here very much. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the property was when we arrived. Medgee was so welcoming and helpful on arrival, and had good advice and insider tips for our stay on Praslin. Our room was lovely. Very private, with nice facilities. The WiFi was on the blink during our stay, but the staff were quick to remedy that. Only complaint was the constant stream of ants that found our way into our room, and devoured our breakfast before we'd had a chance to eat it. I know it's hard to control insects, so no points off for that. Overall, great stay, and great location. Would highly recommend!

Great location and service, staff very friendly and cooperative. ”
At first we were upset not being located where the hotel was, as the website didn't indicate that villas were located hillside. To our surprise the room included a rent a car which we could use during the stay and staff escorted us to the villa. The views were stunning and worth a million dollars, the villa was fairly new and had beautifully decorated features in all rooms and we were allowed to use the infinity pool of the neighboring villa , which topped it all, overlooking the bay with emerald colored waters set in a tropical surrounding, simply fabulous and more than we expected. Thank you Le Duc

Very spacious room with large balcony. Great breakfast buffet. Shame no drinking water was supplied by the hotel. Our room backed to a house which was noisy (music and dogs barking) on Sunday night only. Overall, great place to stay on Praslin.

Hillview villa”
Cafe de Art's restaurant, the beach, the villa
Our group of 7 friends booked the 4 bedroom hillside villa for 3 nights. When we checked into our villa we were amazed at the view of the ocean & were very happy to see the layout of the bedrooms & the best part of it all was the private swimming pool which belonged to the villa. We spent 4 nights at Mahe before coming to Praslin & after seeing the villa we thought we should have stayed lesser nights in Mahe & more nights here. The breakfast at the Le Duc was not that great compared to our stay at The Constance Ephelia in Mahe. We had dinner once at the Cafe de Arts on the beachside. It was fine dining & although the prices were pretty high we did enjoy the food & the service. Since our villa had 2 kitchens (one on the ground floor & one on the second floor) & one of our friends knew how to cook home food we went to the supermarket to buy groceries & had dinner twice in our villa. It was really great to swim at our private pool & eat dinner at our villa. Overall we had a great stay here. I cannot say anything about the other type of rooms at Le Duc as we didn't stay in there.

Enjoyable stay except for a few minor issues”
The food was fantastic, the room was of a high standard and the staff were mostly friendly and helpful.
For the most part our stay was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel which had high quality rooms, beautiful landscaping and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. It is also just a short walk to the beautiful Cote d'Or beach. Staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. Only negatives were: The extra single bed we paid for in the room was ridiculously bad (a 1-star hotel mattress). We requested for it to be changed, which it was, but the replacement was only marginally better. Bacon and sausages were not on display at the buffet breakfast and you actually had to know they had them and order them specifically from the live cooking station. Most people did not even realise they were on offer. Seemed a little sneaky. They offered tea and coffee after dinner... and charged for the tea we ordered - quite pricey too! Seemed a little tacky to charge for a cup of tea after dinner when it's freely available in your room.

Amazing view from the villa ”
Beach, villa, comfortable
We stayed at the villa at this hotel (which is off of the main hotel facility and up a hill) and it had amazing views with very comfortable accommodations. We had five people staying in the 3-bedroom villa and there was plenty of room to relax in the bedrooms and around the common areas. The kitchen is quite well stocked with dishes/utensils and we were able to stock up at the supermarket and prepare some simple food while we were there. Our stay was short and we didn't have time to spend much time on the beach but it looked amazing when we had lunch at the restaurant there. The quality of staff service was very good. Everyone on the property was extremely helpful; one person whom I encountered spent 20 mins showing me around the property and where the beach was and offering tips on activities. Service was a bit slow at times but I think that's a general trend across Seychelles rather than specific to the hotel. They were also very accommodative when I had booked the wrong dates and allowed me to change the dates even after the reservation passed, which I really appreciated and thought it was very generous of them to do so. A couple things to note: 1) we had five people staying at the villa (which could accommodate up to six people) but the car rental included with the stay was a tiny car that barely fit all of us; it was also manual so make sure you have someone who is comfortable driving stick shift 2) dinner at the hotel restaurant requires reservations in advance and there is also a dress code (no shorts for men, no flip flops) so pack accordingly

This is a beautiful hotel with delicious food”
The gardens, the room, the food
Loved the gardens, room and food. This is a luxury hotel, meals are expensive if not included with the room rate. We did think the food was excellent though. We found the staff to be helpful and courteous. We did have one concern which was with a trip to Curieuse Island that we booked through the hotel. Please note that they use independent contractors so the quality of the trips vary.
