“Absolutely perfect stay-higly recommended”
Our stay at Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa was absolutely outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. Everything was perfect from the very first moment. The resort is beautifully designed, set in lush tropical gardens right on a stunning sandy beach. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and truly luxurious, yet still very welcoming and warm. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail. Housekeeping was excellent every single day. The staff deserve special praise – everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and always smiling. They genuinely care about guests and make you feel special at all times. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of high-quality food, fresh fruit, and both local and international options. The restaurants and bars throughout the resort were excellent as well. The pools, beach, and overall facilities were perfectly maintained. It is an ideal place both for relaxation and for enjoying nature. We truly felt at home here and were sad to leave. This resort is a real paradise, and we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a perfect holiday experience.

“Good stay with a few area of improvements”
3/5 for value for money - although more affordable than other 5 star resorts in the island, it is with a trade-off. Certain level of service fell short as compared. Bathroom amenities fell very basic just toothbrush set and shower cap. No body lotion or other items. There’s complimentary 1st day mini bar or welcome sweets or fruits. They didn’t serve coffee or tea at the table. It’s self-serve. 5/5 on location - personally love Chenang beach and the property has its own private beach with abundance of beach chairs to chill and relax. 4/5 on cleanliness - given it’s chalet type of resort I think there should be even more attention to detail for cleanliness. The bathroom could be cleaned and scrubbed more especially the shower area. Other area of the room and resort are up to standard. 4/5 on staff - the buggy drivers are all very nice and friendly. Cafe and restaurants staff are friendly too. Check in staff may need to be mindful especially during peak hour. Understand it’s stressful but so for the guests who have been traveling to stay at the resort. 5/5 on facilities. - really enjoyed that there are 2 pools, 2 restaurants serving breakfast and the buggy service is relatively fast and efficient. Again so many beach chairs along the resort private beach and convenient to relax. Overall it is a good stay. We went during relatively calm period with mostly foreign guests. I would imagine during local holiday period it can be very packed and with different experience altogether.

“A Tropical Paradise I Keep Coming Back To!”
I stayed at Pelangi Beach Resort Langkawi in July 2025, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations. This was actually my third visit to the resort, and each time just keeps getting better. The resort is beautifully surrounded by nature and right by the beach — the views, the sounds of the ocean, and the overall peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect escape. It truly feels like a hidden paradise. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. But what really makes Pelangi stand out is the top-notch service. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. Their warm hospitality is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. If you’re looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway with amazing service, I highly recommend Pelangi Beach Resort. I’ll definitely be returning again!

“Beautiful Beachfront Resort but Booking Issue”
We recently stayed at Pelangi Beach Resort Langkawi and the resort itself has a beautiful tropical atmosphere with traditional Malay-style architecture. One highlight was the breakfast experience, where guests can enjoy two different breakfast styles. One is an Asian-style breakfast located near the swimming pool, while the other is a Western/American-style breakfast facing the sea. The American breakfast option even includes a complimentary free-flow alcoholic drink, making it very enjoyable while dining with a beautiful sea view. The resort also has several themed restaurants, which adds variety to the dining experience. The swimming pool area is very large, with separate pools for adults and kids, making it great for families. In the evening, the beachfront restaurant features a live band with very nice vocals, creating a lovely atmosphere. Sitting by the beach with a glass of wine while listening to live music was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. However, we experienced an issue with our Agoda booking. Our booking confirmation clearly showed Seaview Room, but the room we received was actually Lake View on the 2nd floor, which required walking up stairs. After checking with the hotel, they informed us that the reservation they received from Agoda was Lake View instead of Seaview, even though my confirmation booking showed Seaview and this was verified with Agoda customer support through a phone call. Unfortunately, by the time we checked in, no Seaview rooms were available, so we had to stay in the Lake View room. Agoda informed us that the hotel will refund the price difference between the Seaview and Lake View room, but as of now after checkout we have not yet received any update regarding the refund. Another downside was the delayed check-in. Although check-in time is supposed to be 3PM, we arrived around 4PM and still had to wait until almost 5PM for the room to be ready. Overall, the resort itself is beautiful with great facilities, dining options, and atmosphere, but the booking issue and delayed check-in slightly affected our experience this time.

“The stay was very comfortable and perfectly satisfactory.”
We were impressed by the exceptional cleanliness and spaciousness of our room. The bathroom had strong water pressure, and the cool water was especially refreshing after spending time under the sunny weather. The room was very comfortable and relaxing—we truly enjoyed resting during both the day and evening, simply doing nothing and unwinding. Housekeeping was carried out daily, with an ample supply of drinking water and fresh towels provided. These reliable and thoughtful basic services greatly enhanced our holiday experience and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay.
