"Very good beds and toilet"
15 March 2016
In London's stylish Mayfair district, overlooking Grosvenor Square, this elegant 4-star hotel offers luxurious air-conditioned rooms and an award-winning Italian restaurant. Central yet quiet, the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is less than 500 metres from the shops of Oxford Street and Bond Street. Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and London's financial centres are within easy reach. With its magnificent Georgian exterior, this 18th-century mansion was once home to the Duchess of Kendal. The building has a rich history and Wellington's victory over Napoleon was announced here. Today, the hotel still offers all the discreet charm of an exclusive private residence. The elegant en suite rooms are traditionally furnished and have satellite TV, minibars and tea/coffee.

Nice hotel with great location.”
Very nice service and great location. The room size is good. It's so close to the shopping district with nice restaurants around. Strongly recommend for people who look for convenience with a descent accomodation.
Good location ”
being on a business trip does not preclude a shopaholic to shop - provided you stay close enough to the shops. the hotel is close to bond street tube station which made commune to my meeting venue at westminster easy. its proximity to oxford street also means there are plenty of shops and eatery close by. i had a wonderful stay at this hotel. highly recommend to anyone!
it was pleasent stay , with comfotable bed and clean bathroom easy check in process and check out was very good location is very good as its located in the heart of mayfair and very close to oxford streed and park lane walking distance to bond street and hyde park. nice room service and quality food
Decent place in London”
It apparently has a Middle-Eastern owner and attracts many ME guests. WiFi service was spotty and intermitterntly available. Nice afternoon tea. The club lounge was nice and worth the higher room rate.
comfortable, central & friendly”
We spent 4 nights at the Millennium. The beds in the room were very comfortable (except the extra bed according to my son). Generally the staff there were very friendly especially at the restaurant where we had breakfast and the concierge. One even invited my daughter to play with the performing pianist a song in the bar. The location is quiet yet close enough to the shopping Oxford street with lots of shops and restaurants. Will consider staying here again if the price is right.
Great location on Grosvenor Square ”
This was our second time - first time we thoroughly enjoyed had had no complaints. However, on this occasion the room was of a disappointing standard for a hotel boasting a Mayfair address (and charging Mayfair prices!). The room really need renovation, having threadbare carpets and frayed curtains and the bath panel almost falling off. I mentioned these to the reception and was given the rather glib response of 'oh well, we'll make sure you get a better room next time'. Given that response I'm not sure there'll be a 'next time'.
highend area and 5 minutes walk from shopping area”
would recommend anyone who like to visit London - this hotel is highly recommended as location is superb, staff very friendly, nearby is buckingham place, oxford street, regent street. Area is superb safe and nice.
nice location, friendly staff”
stayed again in this hotel like quite a few times before. could recommend rooms with backstreet or inner yard view rather than grosvenor square - old wooden windows in the historical part of the hotel's building are far from being soundproof and you'll get a street noise inside while the square itself looks great anyway. rooms are nicely furnished, generous in space but sometimes bathroom was not in perfect condition. with a special rate makes a great value for money.
Great location and comfortable spacious rooms”
Was pleasantly surprised by the great location and comfortable, reasonable-sized rooms. Selfridges and Oxford Street are just 5 - 6 minute walk away, and Bond Street station 7-8 minutes walk away. Green Park is also about 10 minute walk. Lovely hotel
Great hotel and great staff”
First of all a very good location Great welcome the day checkin ,room was exellent and clean Staff was very helpful with all question i asked ,ok restaurats for a bite in the evening and a good breakfast will stay here again on another trip
Great location to walk to just about everything in Central London. We walked to Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, London Eye, Big Ben, Harrods, Bond Street, Gordon Ramsey's Claridges, and not too far from the underground, for going places that are a wee bit further. we had a great time at the Millenium London Mayfair Hotel. Thanks so much.
Great British experience in the heart of London”
I book this hotel via Agoda and got a really nice deal. I have mixed experience with London hotels (old bathrooms, tiny elevators, smelly carpets) but Millennium Mayfair is non of the above. I really liked our room, decorated in classical British style, and nicely equipped bathroom. I found the magazines in room a really lovely touch! We felt really welcome in Millennium Mayfair and will come back when we are in London next time.
the hotel was a good location as most of my meetings were in mayfair and the city. the tube stops are a close walk as well as pubs and restaurants. i upgraded my room to a "superior" room which was nice, but i would not call it superior. i wanted to have a queen or king size bed. i was disappointed to find out that it was just two twin sized matresses pushed together which does not make for a great nights sleep. the food at the bar is good and resonably priced. the service is spotty. if it gets crowded, the staff can be easily overwhelmed. overall it is a nice hotel that is clean and the room and bathrooms are a good size.
The hotel has good location and friendly staff. Clubrom can be recommended, it has good size, large comfortable bed and konfortabel seating area. Very nice to have access to the Club. The hotel is somewhat worn and there are carpets everywhere. Internet is free at Clubrom, but access must be renewed every day, which is perceived as unnecessary old-fashioned.
this hotel ticked all the boxes. the staff were all obliging and helpful and the club rooms were large and very comfortable. i would recommend that paying for the upgrade is very good value as it allows access to the lounge for breakfast and afternoon drinks and nibbles. the location is so handy that we could walk everywhere- and the bath was so big we could soak to recover.
Great hotel - extremely friendly staff - excellent”
The Club room offered great value both morning and evening with views of all the landmarks of London from St Pauls to Canary Wharf, the Gherkin in the City, the London Wheel and the new skyscaper "the Schard"(sic) Location wise you are in the heart of Mayfair with easy access to primary shopping and business areas with access to Canary Wharf a 5 minute walk away to catch the Jubilee line from Bond street. Rooms are comfortable and clean plus, if you're looking for quiet, ask for a room overlooking the courtyard at the rear.
Wonderful location, but rooms could use a facelift”
Have stayed here several times and it's always a pleasant stay. Convenient location if you are looking to go shopping in places like New Bond street and Jermyn Street. Room service is not the best and I will avoid it next time. The room decor is quite dated and the standard room is very small. Concierge is quite helpful in getting restaurant and show reservations.
Good location, but small rooms”
great location for shopping! breakfast is quite good, but expensive, but on par with other london hotels, i suppose. room service nothing special. check-in and out was expedient and the concierge was always helpful.
Not up to standard”
Generally speaking the stay was ok. Nothing spectacular. The quality of the room service was poor. The movie selection was limited. The basic tv channels were limited. The level of cleaning of the room was poor. I had no soap in the bathroom the first two days
Great hotel. We loved it”
we had a very nice, large (by london standards) room. it was very clean so was the bathroom. the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever stayed in. it was very quiet and comfortable. the staff were very nice and very helpful. the breakfast was excellent and lots and loots of choice. we got a free newspaper and there were no extra costs beyond what we paid. thye even sent a complimentary breakfast up to our room when we had to leave early and the restaurant wasn't open at no cost to us. we would highly recommend the hotel. it's in a great location and we loved it.
