No english, too simple for the price”
When i came too the homestay they were closed and when they opened for me they didnt know anything about my booking...This was not so welcoming and their English was very little and it was hard to get information about the dieng plateau. But my room was nice, with rice field view, and there was free coffee, tea and water and the breakfast was good (a good selection of Indonesian dishes). And when i asked where I could buy some fruit they brougth me papaya fruit, that was very kind:)

Friendly staff. Comfy homestay”
Price. Comfy. Away from city
We had a great time staying in this homestay. The owner is very accomodating. Though we find it difficult to find the place, but it's fine as the location is away from the city. Less stress and relaxing location.

good homestay for couple backpacker”
cheap, cozy, located 5 mins above the city
Owner is kind, we're free to choose the room. Every rooms are clean & cozy, we chose one which had front view (small paddies field). The pond in first floor was also cozy spot to relax. Food was made by the owner, simple but good taste. Only 20km more to dieng plateau & only 6km to city. Worth it for only 120k rupiahs per night.

cheap&cozy, 5mins to wonosobo city,30mins to dieng”
cheap, clean, cozy
I spent 2 nights here with my wife, we use our own car. It is located only 2/3 mins from the dieng mainroad (km5). Very much recommended if you want to spend more time in the city, because the air is much more fresh & the road is not too crowded. Breakfast Is local food made by the host, simple but good taste.

Friendly landlord, dirty and badly maintained room”
Friendly landlord, isolated location, difficult to find
From the first minute, it was not good. I booked a superior room, but when I arrived the room was already occupied. So the only choice left was standard room with filthy bathroom outside. I had to contact agoda myself to modify the booking to standard. I really felt trapped since when I arrived it was already nighttime and I was in the middle of nowhere. The bedroom was not good and it was not good value for money. The wall painting was dirty and taty, the furniture was old and damage . The worse for me was when I realized that the bed sheets and blanket had not been changed/washed. The room window was facing the living room when loudly customers were drinking and smoking like a coal factory. I finally got to sleep a bit from 12 to 5 ( when the noise started again). I have been living in Indonesia for years and I usually find clean home stay at the same price. On a more positive note, the owner was very friendly and recommended me a guide to visit Dieng plateau. Thanks for that!

Relaxing countryside with beautiful mountain views”
Friendly staff, cheap, fast wifi
Great value for money, booked 3 rooms for our group and had the place to ourselves. Owner made us breakfast in the morning which was plentyful and delicious (it wasn't included in the room price but he didn't charge us at all). The place was clean and had everything we needed including hot water for shower. Felt like we're visiting a family home rather than an accommodation place.
