I'd read the mixed reviews and asked for a room at the back as these folks always seems to have a good stay, unlike people who have the misfortune of a front room, meaning sleepless nights due to front street party noise. I did so days in advance, upon booking, so I could still cancel if not doable. I was promised a back room. I did not get one, however. Got a middle room, halfway between noise and quiet, with a window opening only to the corridor, hence very little daylight. Breakfast is so-so, if you come after 9 the coffee will be cold already and possibly no fruit left, and no one bothers addressing this. I wasn't even asked what I wanted for breakfast, in fact I had to insist twice in order to get an order placed. That's what you get when it's ''free'' (i.e. already paid for). Room has a kettle and cups, fridge, free teabags, 3-in-1 coffee and a small bottle of water... bed comfy but not the pillows, way too hard and big. Clean and tidy room, messy corridor... so yeah, overall very so-so. Adequate for 3 nights but not great.

Best location and very good staff ”
I really want to recommend Mrs. Ha housekeeping, she was excellent, I had a meeting I wanted to get my shirt pressed, she did it for me and when I try to give a tip she refused and said that’s her job, this kind of service I only seen in Japan, congratulations you have good staff , and also big thanks to all the reception staff and the security staff all excellent.

The Worst hotel I ever stayed in Hanoi. ”
Beyond horrible :( the room is so stinky , I couldn't breath! They sprayed the chemical thing too much :( floor dirty and sticky... Not 3 star it is a hostel.... Won't stay here next time... :( And the cleaner kept going inside the room even tho I already put the sign do not disturb.... Nothing is good to say about this hotel.... Do something about your hostel please take out 3 star because it isn't....

Very friendly staff, but noisy in rooms!”
The hotel and the room was looking very nice and the breakfast was good! The staff helped us arrange a bus ticket for the next day, and was just very helpful. But when the clock gets around 7-8 pm the bars begin to play loud music. The music and noise from the street was very loud and made it hard to sleep.

Unhappy wouldnt recommend this hotel to any traveller”
We booked 3 double deluxe rooms instead we got 3 different rooms, all rooms had unserviced a/cons in rooms, 2 of the rooms had to be changed and 1 of them to a hostel because no working a/cons in rooms left in hotel, the third room had a mobile water cooler delivered to the room after many complaints of the heat and lack of air in the room also bar fridge was exchanged because that too was not working. We travelled and booked as a group but could not stay be together as planned.the breakfast is ordinary at best and not quite as we ordered each day even thou we complained still couldnt get it right, the only good thing about this hotel is the location....the staff are not really interested in your complaints or trying to really make your stay enjoyable other than 1 young man whom i forgot his name.I would therefore not recommend this hotel to anyone as there are many other quality looking hotels in the same area for around less or even....i wouldnt say this is a 3 star hotel but a hostel

We would highly recommend this hotel. We had room 204 which was in the back of the building. Large spacious room, kettle with coffee & tea, toiletries and bottled water. Breakfasts was included and portions certainly enough. Staff friendly and there to help. The location is perfect. You are in the heart of the old quarter. They have rooms on the front side of the hotel but I think they would be a little noisy. We would certainly back.

Room is super noisy because it is next to the old quater night market. We just could not sleep all night. Facilities are in use from thirty years ago. There was no tv remote control even I asked the receptionist. Definitely this hotel is not value for money. Staffs are rude and helpless. Do not stay!!!!!!!!!!

Great place to stay!”
Loved the location of the hotel. So many great places to eat and shops are nearby. Everything is walking distance. The staff speak English and can assist you in whatever you need. They can book tours and airport transfers for you. Glad I stayed here. Only problem is there is no lift so it might be difficult to access rooms for older people. Overall, a great place to stay.
