"Suited my budget solo backpacker needs perfectly. Gorgeous building, great kitchen (one on each floor! Good for those on a budget, Sucre restaurants aren't cheap), good wifi, friendly and attentive staff, hot shower. The windows in the rooms are the only minor downside, they're odd in that they don't close entirely - not great in a city that is cold at night, with noise outside the window. I'd stay here again though. Thanks for the lovely stay in Sucre, Villa Oropeza!"

"Hotel shared room dorm situation was just me, for two nights, midweek, in what appeared to be a converted conference room, into what could sleep 16-18 people and I was alone, with shoddy wifi. Front desk staff had difficulty answering questions about when very well known places are open, or even where they are located, e.g., currency exchange. "

"we stayed here for 4 nights whilst exploring sucre, and loved the hotel. our room is fantastic, on the top floor with views over the city, and the roof terrance was perfect for watching the sun go down with a cold drink! it´s only about 5 minutes walk from the main square with restaurants and cafes. hotel was clean and staff always happy to help. best hotel we´ve stayed in in south america!
