        The most disgusting hotel ever”
Only pro to this hotel is that it is close to Victoria. We checked in and our room had no Curtains, the bathroom had some kind of plastic rag tacked up over the window, the single bed in the room had lost all of its springs so my friend basically laid pretty much in the mattress, the bathroom mirror was smashed and room looked like it had not been hoovered for the last fortnight. The next morning we got up for a shower and the shower head fell to pieces in my hand. I went to the reception and all the staff were absolutely useless. Excellent at making up excuses but no solutions brought to the table regarding the curtains. I am waiting on the hotel manager calling me back but I doubt I will have a response. I would never stay here again. If you book here make sure you do not take triple room H8.

I would not recommend this hotel, whist reasonably cheap and located very close to Victoria Station, it was little better than a run down back packers.

        Location, clean linen daily
Very disappointing. Booked two double rooms, given two twin rooms. They moved one couple to a double in the basement. Both rooms were very poor standard, more like a hostel. Mouldy bathroom ceilings , no plugs in sinks, broken toilet seat and shower cubicle. Broken blind so permanently closed, window stuck open, so room freezing as it was 1 degree outside. No mirror in one room, no hairdryer in the other. Whole building smelt musty.

        Location, value for money, service
I booked this hotel based on location, cost and the hotel rooms description. I can only say I was not disappointed. Having read the reviews after booking (I know...) I did have concerns but thought, for that price in London we are willing to roll with it and just enjoy the break. On arrival, I could not fault a thing I learnt that the hotel is now under new management and my husband and I stayed in a room that looked exactly like the photos on the site and received nothing but excellent customer service throughout our weekend stay. We were even surprised with two huge pieces of cake and sparkling wine when they found out it was my husbands birthday! For location - it is steps from Grosvenor Square and 10min walk from Buckingham Palace and the Mall. What more could you want?

convenient location, room was serviced each day, staff were helpful
Our room was down very narrow steep stairs where it was difficult to manipulate luggage. The hall smelt damp and musty. The toilet seat was broken and when we reported it, it was obvious that it was known about but was not repaired before we arrived. One door of the shower cubicle doors was missing so water went all over the floor, no towel rails/hooks or shelves for clothes and toiletries in the bathroom

Probably the worst hotel room I have had in the UK”
It was where I wanted to be and fairly clean.
I would not have made the booking if there was not wifi. When I arrived I asked and they said it was not working. Too late to go elsewhere. Check in was 100m away in another hotel. My ground floor single room was small, with a window facing a lightwell. The furniture was cramped, ill matched and looked like a store room. The tiny bathroom had no lavatory. This was outside in the corridor. There was no phone to complain. I went to the other hotel again and was offered another room on the first floor. This had an en suite lavatory but was even smaller; about 2.5m x 2.5m. The bathroom was 1.5m x 1.0m. There was a small, hard single bed with one lumpy pillow. The only other furniture was a dining chair and a shelf. The small built in wardrobe was too small to take an ironing board which stood in the corner. The only light was one small table lamp on the shelf; nothing by the bed. You had to leave the bathroom door open to see anything. The hot water jug was too small to fit under the tap to fill. The basin was minute and the shower too small to turn roundin. There was no cup to make coffee and again no telephone to complain. Thsi is supposed to be a four star hotel. I suspect the average prison cell is larger and more comfortable. When I went to check out and complain there was nobody at the desk. I waited and eventually had to give up. A complete disgrace as a four star hotel.

The hotel is located very close to Victoria station. I was first allocated a really dodgy room which was quiete overpriced, the internet didnt work and the bathroom was not good at all. I then comlained and was upgraded to a room in the mainbuidling which was much better. Unfourtently I have pay an extra fee for it. I dont think I gonna stay at this hotel again.

        Bad condition and service”
Close proximity to Victoria Station is the good point
The staff service is really bad. The rooms do not have wifi at all. They only have wifi at their reception area and its 22 units away from where we are staying. Everyday when we asked them about the wifi, they will reply that they will reset it and work on it but after a week stay, we never had the chance to use their wifi at our rooms. One of the rooms which my travelmate was staying in had a blackout and the hotel staff wanted him to continue staying and to open the door so that the light from the corridor can lit up the room. This does not make sense considering that he may be using the washroom (which is dark) and privacy issues. They refuse to rearrange the accomodation for my travelmate until we argue with them for about an hour or so. They finally agreed to rearrange for my travel mate to stay at another hotel and to move back again the next day which was quite inconvenient. Basically, the only positive point about the hotel is its close proximity to Victoria Station which we paid a premium for. Other than that, they seriously has a staff service problem and the rooms are not very well maintained.

This was worst hotel stay I had in London - ”
On the second night, my room had a black out. Staff were trying to fix the problem, by talking over the phone to an electrician and unqualified staff were trying to fix by fiddling with main switches. I was worried that the staff do not get electocuted in the process and I have to be a witness to the accident. After about 2 hours they could not fix it. After arguing for about another hour, the duty manager made arrangements for an alternate room in another hotel about a mile away for one night. This caused lot of inconvienience and had to miss important appointment. On the next day I was hopeful the problem will be resolved. That did not happen and after some more of remote control electricians advice, some (not all) lights were restored. The room was stuffy and the window were sealed shut and could not be opened. There was no internat for full 6 nights - although the hotel staff were assuring us that it would be restored soon. While waiting at the lobby to fix my issues, another customer complained that some other customer entered his room while his wife was there - because the hotel staff had forgotten to cancel the key card of previous customer who was subsequently alloted another room. In my 30 years of travel, this was my worst experience.

        - There are no reception for the hotel! If you want to ask for anything you need to go to another hotel to see the reception and that is silly! - There is no internet connection! They gave me a Wifi network name and password, but I couldn't find this network!! - The staff didn't offer to carry my bags even I was carrying two bags and two of the staff were while we are moving between two buildings (the reception was in block 28 and the hotel in 50!!) - The room was very small.
