Cute little hidden B&B. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast while not fancy is still a nice attempt at an American style breakfast. The rooms are all tastefully decorated. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Love this hotel. It has personality and personal touch for everything. Close to the airport bus, metro station. It's located behind the main street.

My first time at the Win Boutique but will certainly stay here again. Rooms are quite spacious and well appointed. Close to railway station, and walking distance to lots of wonderful restaurants. Only criticism is that the breakfast, whilst good, was limited.

Disappointing ”
Location
In the end it was just a base. We saw no staff at all, our room was never servised during our stay. We ran out of toilet roll so a had to pinch some from a restaurant and the toilet developed a scum line round the pan, absolutely awful! There is no reception so we weren't able to bring these things to anyone's attention. We will not be staying here again.

location, not a motel, comfortable
One of my regular places in Seoul. rooms are decently comfortable (even if I hate the liquid soap containers which always get cluttered). And it's not a love motel, unlike every other small hotel in the area.

Could be much better”
Room, location, cleanliness
Actually I liked the hotel but my stay could be much better. I used the premium suit which is well decorated dublex room, and has a lot of space when compared with other hotels in Seoul. It was also clean and contains a washing machine. problems are 1-television and automated toilet did not work throughout my stay. Internet was quite slow and interrupted often. 2- there is no desk at the hotel to contact with. If yo leave hotel early in morning and come back late in evening you can not find staff at the hotel. 3- the only way of communication with staff is through your cell phone at aforementioned times, and if you are an international customer without roaming you can not reach anyone.4- the staff did not reply back to all of my phone calls that is the reason that my problems were not solved. But at towards the end of my stay I managed to contact with staff and they were helpfull then. Once I lost my keycard late at night suddenly a security guy appeared and solved my problem. To sum up, I would give this hotel a second chance İf I visit Seoul once more. I think a series of unfortunate events occured in my stay as other revies are generally good.

A step above a backpacker hostel”
The low price, the great location next to the airport shuttle and subway, and the flexible staff
The Win Boutique Hotel converted a basement area into a 6-bunk youth-hostel like area. There's a large common sitting area, 3 bathrooms, and six bunks. The ceiling is high, and the entire space feels quite large. It's in the basement so you get no noise, but it also means there are no views. Each guest has their own key, and there's no curfew. The bunks are large and comfortable. The hotel is 100m from the subway station and also the airport shuttle. There are many coffee shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. A few drawbacks are: The staff is often not around. They are at the front desk when they expect reservation holders to arrive or leave, but at other times of the day you might have to telephone them. So if you're staying here, get reservations or call in advance. The supposedly free internet was not working when I stayed, but I only mentioned it to the staff when I was departing, so perhaps they have since fixed it. They clean the place daily, but they don't know how to sweep properly. It gets 95% clean, but if you're a neat freak, you'll notice the remaining 5%. Also, one of the three showers has a slow or clogged drain. You can still use the shower, but it's not ideal. Better to use one of the other two showers. Despite these drawbacks, I was quite satisfied with the hotel.

Clean, location, comfortable
My stay is brilliant. I've got replacement by Agoda.com, as my previous hotel has cancelled up my reservation due to construction, and agoda had called me up and replaced me to a better ans wonderful hotel, The Win Boutique. The hotel is comfortable, clean and location is nice. A minute or two to the closest metro, and a short walking to the closest Homeplus and various restaurants. The receptionist is friendly, well English speaking. The breakfast is not bad, just the portion of the breakfast is a little too small. Anyways, thanks to Agoda! I had a pleasant stay at this wonderful hotel!

Tucked away in an alley, but a nice place to stay”
Inexpensive for such an area, subway station only 10 seconds away
I stayed in the dormitory beds, which are downstairs. Unlike other similar setups in Korea, these ones stand out because they all have a lovely privacy screen. In that sense, you basically get your own private cave to stay in. The two showers are shared with everyone, but they have soap dispensers. There's also some free lockers you can use to stash your stuff for the day or night.

Dormitory room was a strange experience.”
Modern design
The dormitory was a coed room with 10 beds located in the basement. It had no windows and had a dark, scary entrance. If you plan on just sleeping, it's ok for the price. However do not stay there alone. The staff was friendly and nice but there available only from 8am-10pm. Location is very convenient.

Interesting rooms and very near subway”
location near to subway line 2 (green line) makes it very convenient to travel around
We had two rooms, one with a king size bed and another "ondol style" ( with heated flooring for the kids). Both rooms were clean and each had unique character as befits a boutique hotel which does not have standard type of hotel rooms. The best thing about the place is its location less than 3 minutes walk from Hapjeong Station (exit 2) and Mapo Dumpling (where we had lunch and breakfast, and also a bakery just as one exits the station. Another good thing is that is is just one stop from Hongik University location, which is a very lively and happening place, and the staff speak English. On the cons side, the heating in our room did not seem to be able to cope with the very cold days that coincided with our stay in Seoul (-10 C or lower), and although breakfast was included, it was not provided on one of the days (a Sunday) as staff do not operate the front desk and the cafe until 11 am. The hot water for the sink also took a long time to get warm (perhaps due to the very cold weather??).

Beautiful Hotel with great service”
Great location, beautiful rooms
Win is a superb hotel I will recommend to all my friends. In fact, enquiries have been coming in from friends who have seen the photos I've posted on FB. It is located 50m away from Hapjeong, line 2, which gives easy access to the main tourist areas of Seoul, City Hall, Myeong-dong, Gangnam etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable, well furnished and deco-ed as well. I will stay there again given a chance!

Near to railway station but quite hard to find.”
clean and easy to have late dinner
I travelled alone. When i checked in this boutique, i never thought i would be living in a basement-like dormitory, it somehow scared me at the beginning. There was a girl staying there already, we both didn't think it could be a mixed dormitory, the girl complained a lot. But when i came back again, i found she was gone and left me all alone for four nights. People might find it quite a scary place, but i was okay to live myself, just a little bit alone. Anyway, you can't get any more service from the hotel coz you're just a dorm guest. But it's clean, quite comfortable, close to hapjeong station, but you may be hard to find it for the first time. Walking to Hongik uni clubbing area is just 15 minutes, quite attractive to me.

Average place to stay”
Wi-fi is working
Me and my husband stayed at this place for 1 night. Actually i decided to book at this place for some reviews. This is not really a hotel, more likely like a guest house. Location is inside the alley which not too strategic, the good thing that wi-fi is working. In the morning wheni went downstair at 8 AM i was advised that breakfast will be ready in the next 30 minutes. Until 8:45 AM still not opened yet, and need to ask again so we can have quick so-so breakfast. Next time i would prefer to stay at Myeong-dong ar Dongdaemun area instead.
