For first timers, there are lots of attractions to visit and try. For "repeat travellers" , you may include the BenCab Museum, Asin Hot Spring Resorts.
I think these two attractions should be included in our review. Everyone who goes there have only but positive comments about the place.
Baguio is a nice place away from Manila about 4hour drive nowadays. Consider traveling early to be away from the traffic and save time.
Baguio is beautiful but too crowded already. Need maintenance of the whole city. Baguio is nice and enjoyable especially if its cold.
Baguio to be considered as the summer capital of the philippines, it is very nice to stay for several days to relax and feel its nice weather.
this is a place to look forward to visit to unwind.
nice place, you can do many things and nice weather. i want to stay here during december until february.
My kids had a great time. The city is very kid-friendly. The weather is great. I love that you can explore the city mostly on foot.
If you can, take your kids for a walk on eco-trails (Camp John Hay has one for free).
This is not the Baguio of my youth. Gone are the pine trees on the hilly slopes, replaced by stacks of bare concrete, rusty-roofed housing.
Fresh air has diminished due to pollution from diesel engines, peace and quiet missing as well because of noise from people and vehicles. Such is the fate of Philippine cities and towns.
Cool climate, rustic setting, good food, and warm friendly people makes Baguio a great place for holiday.
Could be better if the city can reduce pollution by removing the smoke belching jeepneys and AUV taxis and use electric bus instead. Also traffic is getting to be a problem,
City of pines once upon a time, today more of traffic and overpopulation but still nice to be there and enjoy the day in mild weather.
Summer capital of the Philippines because of the cold weather. Also called the City of Pines, due to the abundance of Pine trees.
Many activities to do, parks to visit and breath-taking views to see. Food is great, people are nice and great. Everything is great. Will definitely come back
Baguio isn't as cold as it use to be but it retained the rural charm despite some of the urbanization in the area.
Our trip was mainly for my sister so it's more of a touristy thing. Burnham and Mine's View Park, the Mansion, Lourdes Grotto and Baguio Cathedral was a must. We also took a side trip to the strawberry fields and La Presa since that's where she really wanted to go. Session Road has some amazing restaurants. A visit to museum and galleries is also worthwhile if you loved the arts.
The city lives up to the vibe of being the country's summer capital. Amazing place and great people. Cab drivers are the best- they are really accommodating.
Amazing city! I was travelling with my girlfriend around Philippines but Baguio is different. City is in mountains and it's give a lot of fun to watching how cars are moving from one angle to another.
Next there are many attractions to see like Lourdes Grotto, even if you are not religious person then for sport you can make some steps haha There is also park to use boats or bikes it's a lot fun for kids but also for couples. Another park is with horses, i'm sure girls will love to ride on horse with pink hair haha Another park where You with family or love one can wear clothes and get some weapon and make funny photos like you are warrior. Also, famous strawberry farm is worth to visit if you have Filipino love or you just don't have strawberry at your country haha well around are markets with strawberry food, like jams - they are different made than in Europe.. Or ice creams are delicious:)
Was expecting baguio to be a bit colder but it wasnt. It was really hot during our stay in May. Had to wear sando all the time.
Too polluted. I hope they regulate smoking. Went to a pub called zola. Its the best place to get lung cancer. Literally its like there's a wild fire. Only stayed for 5 mins coz cigarette smoke was suffocating. Baguio is really crowded. Beware of pick pockets. Honestly, i would rather go the tagaytay than baguio. Just gecause ive got friends here, its the only reason why i went there.
It a wonderfull place to see and we were happy to see that they still showing the customes of the original people.
The husle and busher of the area is still remain the same. We enjoy our brief stay in Baguio. We will be back again thanks
Although its not the Baguio I used to know decades ago yet the charisma is still there & even if there are only a few buildings & other points of interest still remains Baguio still is very close to my heart.
Indeed worth the nostalgic trip back.
If you travel, all the airports, hotels and airplanes start looking the same. Baguio is different. Gorgeous, rugged mountain scenery everywhere, but malls, taxi's, hotels and good food too.
The weather is terrific, the Filipino people are friendly, and there is much to do. And even though it combines all this in a great travel destination, it is very affordable. Families can really enjoy themselves here.
Baguio is still the best place for summer or vacation destination. I think, the municipality of Baguio should install more street lights and road signs.
best to experience Christmas in Baguio --- ; go around the city just by walking to experience the breeze and observe way of life of the people in Baguio
Bagio is the summer capital of the Philippines the breeze is so fresh and the food are so cheap :). Aside from that the locals are very friendly and transportation going to the main tourist spots are abundant in the area.
Best to go in december or around the summer time.
I will enjoy visiting Baguio again and again and again because of the cool weather and the goods that I can buy there
Baguio is defined by its temperature, which is nothing special for tourists from temperate countries, but which is a great respite from the tiring tropical heat for most lowland-inhabiting Filipinos.
The Americans built it and called it their summer resort, and that legacy has always stuck with the city--it is one of the best cities in the country for taking a well-deserved break, or perhaps some peace and quiet. Baguio is quite importantly known also as a cultural center in the northern Philippines. Some of the country's most respected artists have made it their home, and there's a multitude of venues in the city for art both traditional and modern.
Baguio being the summercapital is the best place to stay with during summer, holy week and xmas vacation.
You can see the beautiful places in this region which you cannot see in other country.
snob bunch. rude crowd. only money talks there. stupid overcrowded make shift shops that destroy the parks.
no control in doing business by small establishments. the only thing good i liked is the weather. air quality-poor in downtown, noise pollution-poor in downtown.
Overcrowded and over built for a small city. You can no longer appreciate the beauty of Baguio city and the cool fresh climate because of this.
I loved baguio I am so in love with nature in fact I always intend to stay here for a vacation plus weather is nice for us US residents not muggy or humid
Comfortable buses, friendly and helpful locals.majestic mountain scenery.cultural values is much present.
it is great when it is not yet developed, i mean, they should have preserved this city, its environment.
they should not put so much buildings like malls. baguio before was better than today.
Here are the places to visit in, Baguio City ... Stroll on Session Road, Burnham Park, Mines View, Wright Park, The Mansion, PMA Academy, Camp John Hay are the most visited place .
.. you can do it a day or two ...have fun.
Try taking the evening bus from Manila to Baguio City so that you can immediately enjoy the place in the morning
