This is my second visit since last year. Showed some improvement at receptionist counter (More attentive and polite). Check in and out was fast, paid deposit of THB2000 for 3 nights by credit card which will be refund when you check out (Hotel in Bangkok need deposit during stay, so is ok for me). Booked Luxury Room at Main Tower, rooms are spacious, clean with stable wifi and clean big bath room with clean bathtub, everything as show in Agoda website. Only downside is the bathroom, very slippery floor, so be careful everyone. (I nearly fell a few times during my stay, hope something can be done before accident happens for other guest). Last of all, this hotel is very close to most shopping center in Pratunam and there are a lot of small night stall outside hotel and famous chicken rice are just opposite of hotel but will need to walk around 15-20 mins to reach nearest BTS. Will still choose to stay here if there's room promotion on my next trip to Bangkok.

One of my favorite hotels in Bangkok, if not, in all of Thailand. Let's consider the price first. Chances are, on most nights, you can get a high floor room here. Considering the location (Siam shopping/nightlife), and... that this is an authentic 5 star, you just won't go wrong. The only minor setback: just one restaurant in this entire (massive) hotel. But the fact the restaurant has amazing staff (I've stayed here many times- they always remember me, even by my nickname)... and the food is truly classy, I'm ok with it. The hotel itself, is elegant, classy... room decor is a perfect mix of modern/chic style, with a hint of bohemian/classic. Very nicely designed rooms, that make it a true 5 star. I'm a fitness buff... so I can't stand hotels that delegate a small room in a basement somewhere, put two treadmills, and a workout ball in the middle, and then say "fitness center" included... this hotel, has a real gym- with real machines- even a smith machine (bench press, shoulder press, etc) with sufficient 20 kg plates around for a serious workout. Full credits to the hotel for this point. It's a big enough gym and very modern too, to feel like you're in a real gym and be motivated. The spa (included, in the rooms) is nice too- with a great steam room, hot tub, and, sauna. Love staying here... a great workout... then relax in the steam room, and then get some amazing food at their restauarant. Seriously, for this price- you'll have a hard time finding better in this area. I know, for I've tried many others in the area, and always end up coming back here.

Picked this hotel out because it is 1/2 block from Central Embassy and it's amazing Food Hall Eathai. Basically used it as a place to recover from jet lag for a weekend before spring boarding to Hong Kong and Phuket. The price was very reasonable, so I wasn't expecting much. This hotel blew me away! Despite being in a great location with access to the Sky Train and Malls, it is a very well apportioned and relaxing refuge from the city. The staff is very accommodating, the buffet breakfast is excellent and the rooms are spacious, modern and beautiful. The one bedroom suites come with a washer/dryer combo which has allowed me to avoid any laundry fees. Had two other Bangkok hotels booked between and after Hong Kong and Phuket. After viewing Bangkok Hotel #2 and being underwhelmed, I cancelled there and booked at the Grande Centre Point for both of the other Bangkok stays. They stowed my extra luggage while I was out of town. This is a hidden gem. Book it!

In Dec 2008, my girlfriend and I came back to one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok for the first time in several years. It still has one of the best locations for shopping (which my girlfriend loves) and definitely the best swimming pool in all of Bangkok (which attracts me). The rooms have also been upgraded and are nicer, though smaller than before. Thus, among the 4 & 5-star hotels in the city (which I have visited over 50 times in the last 20 years), it is still one of my favorites if not my favorite. However, the prices have also increased markedly and the food choice has been much more limited for several years. The food was always expensive by Bangkok standards, but the old restaurant/bar on the 1F used to have a quite nice variety of simple, normal Thai food at affordable prices. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. Thus, when traveling alone, it no longer makes sense to stay here as there are many reasonable 2- or 3-star alternatives at 1/3 to 1/2 the cost. Nonetheless, if my girlfriend ever wants to go back to Bangkok or if I need stay in a higher class hotel for some reason, I am very likely to come back.

My favourite hotel in Bangkok, with the perfect location for shopping both in the attached centre or if you want to take the BTS and go to all the other Malls... Facilities and rooms are both fantastic and the breakfast is the best you will get in Bangkok Hotels. The staff really look after you - this is the most perfect hotel in the best location in Bangkok. I will definately stay here again and again and would highly recommend it to any travelers looking for the luxury and convenience combination.

Our stay in Bangkok was a short mini vacation to enjoy some sightseeing and shopping. We booked The Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok after reading the reviews and the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Hidden inside the bustling area of the city, within walking distance of the small shops and day spas, it was exactly what we were looking for. It is located along the river and from our executive suite room, it was a was a fabulous view. Our package included access to the Horizon Club (where breakfast, all day drinks, evening canapes were served and a delightful private area to just relax) and daily buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. Our room was spacious, with separate living area and full bedroom with king size bed. There were luxurious L'Occitane toiletries provided. Customer service was impeccable as the hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. There is also a complimentary boat ride to the River City Walk Mall and a night market. The buffet was plentiful, although there was no authentic Thai food served, but American, Chinese and Japanese buffet items, the usual fare served at buffets. The hotel gym was being renovated but the hotel provided an adequate substitute facility in the adjacent wing. Also, I found transportation provided by the hotel was quite pricey at 2700BHT; we took a metered regular taxi from the airport and with tolls amounted 4-450 with tip and to the airport amounted to 500 with tip. Taxi vans are a little more at 600. Taxis taking you around the city may try to coerce you into trying a tour or 2; the drivers have sponsors to take you to their shop or travel agency; we experienced this while we were there. The driver was actually nice though so we agreed and actually the souvenir place was very reasonable. We would definitely return to The Shangri-La when in Bangkok again.

Relaxing holiday in Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel with friendly staff, infinity pool, rooftop bar lounge. It will be perfect if there is sauna or steam bath. Sufficient choices for breakfast with quality food. Very good Seafood Buffet on Friday. I used eatigo to book a table at 9 pm at half-price. My husband and I were the only customers at the time. Excellent value for money. A small shopping mall at the hotel building provided convenience of some choices if you don't want to go out again by shuttle boat. Only -ve point, promoters for tour package were too aggressive who approached us for cruise or tour package 4 times in 2 days, which made me annoying.

Centara has 2 hotels in Bangkok, this one and Centara Grand at Great world - don't get mixed up. The one at Great World is the bigger (and more expensive) one - but there you also are facing more traffic jams. But it all depends on the purpose of your visit. I did stay in Centara Grand at Central Plaze because we had meetings in Chon Buri, Rayong and Bangkok as well - and this location made it quite easy and fast to travel to the Eastern Sea Board and also to access the business district in Bangkok without too much jam. Also, if you are going back to the new airport in the early afternoon it takes only 30 minutes (taxi approx. 300 Baht). The check-in was fast and efficient, staff at this place very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely renovated (have stayed here before a few years back), amenities are well sorted and whatever you need is available. Breakfast is amazingly good, huge spread of different foods, good bread and nice coffee, service a bit slow at rush hour times. The Cappucino Caffee (part of the coffee house) offers cakes, snacks and nice salads if you don't want to eat a full meal. Housekeeping and Engineering function well - no reason at all o complain. Internet seems to be a bit difficult, there is a relatively new law in Thailand regarding wireless log-in - so, it needs some time to get it all set up. Anyhow, if you want to eat somewhere else and not in the hotel (they have several different restaurants, though), there is easy access directly from the hotel to Central Plaza where you can find plenty of restaurants and a decent food court (The Loft) as well. At the same time you can get all your shopping needs covered in this shopping centre - or you take the MRT to other big malls not so far (don't try taxi because that might take a very long time, depending on traffic conditions, which are usually bad). The hotel is still in a kind of upgrading process (by mens of administrative organisation), i.e. check-out at present is a bit slow - but ok.

The Chatrium Suites is an excellent choice in Bangkok - especially if you value the glorious river view, and enjoy the quintessential Bankok visitor experience of traveling by boat on the Chao Phraya river. If you need to frequently travel to the center of Bangkok shopping and activities, the location and boat connection may grow tiresome. Our arrival reception was gloriously welcoming - a group of beaming hotel staff rushed to take our bags, escort us to the room and treat us like returning family. The room was enormous with a spacious kitchen unit, however our unit was not actually equipped to actually cook any meals. Overall the facilities were very good, however our carpet was stained, and a bit frayed. We enjoyed the busy, but comfortable swimming pool which is not quite up to the "destination resort" pool feeling at some similar level Bangkok hotels I have stayed (Nai Lert Park, Antara), but definitely better than the small rooftop hotel pools that seem more typical at Bangkok hotels. I would recommend the nearby Asiatique riverside, restaurant/shopping/entertainment complex . Asiatique is a 5-minute taxi ride (much longer by river, unless you swim) and only 50 baht taxi fare – though on our return to the hotel we had to struggle to find a cab who would use the meter and not charge us a flat 100 baht fare. Asiatique is somewhat touristy, but there seemed to be enough locals to give it an energetic, authentic feel - our meal at Checkmate was very pleasant, and the singer at the 9E Furniture Bar was amazing.

This hotel is a 'real' 5 star hotel. I've stayed in three 5 star hotels in Bangkok prior to Grand Centre Point. This beats them all. The staff are fun and consistently polite to guests. They play with the children interact with the guests and add a nice feel to the hotel. Breakfast had flavourful, good quality produce which was great for 320baht if you don't include breakfast in your booking. The design of the hotel is stylish and modern plus the view from our 26th floor room was amazing. You could see Bangkok for miles. head to the pool with a glass barrier around the outside where Bangkok can be seen... as well as heard quite well! One problem with it was the gym it was a little empty however you don't really spend your time in a gym! One last problem was the Spa area. I really wanted to just go inside and see it before I booked anything however this was prohibited. Even when no one is using it you still can't have a look with a member of staff.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights while in Bangkok. The rooms are absolutely BEAUTIFUL, marble everything, great shower, nice tub for baths, free bath bombs, great feeling sheets. You definitely feel like your staying in luxury, but for such a reasonable price! The staff is very attentive and will rush to open the door for you when they see you coming back, carry all your suitcases for you, etc. For the price I don’t think you will be able to find another hotel in Bangkok that offers this much. The breakfast buffet was amazing, they had a western side and Asian side. In the afternoons they serve snacks available to the guests for free from 2pm-5pm which was nice. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again if I come back to Bangkok!

After checking out dozens of options for 5 star hotels in Bangkok decided that the Marriot at Thonburi was the best option. We were not disappointed as the rooms,facilities and grounds were a delight to our family. We have 19 yr old twins and a 13 yr old so we felt relaxed and welcome at all times. In house restaurants exhorbitantly priced. Poolside not as expensive, but you can always eat out. Thoroughly recommended if you want to stay outside the melee of downtown areas. At first we were put into rooms facing the freeway but after approaching the front desk were able to be moved to face the garden area which also had views of the river. This was an unexpected bonus without having to pay more. Don`t hesitate to book at the Marriott Resort and Spa as this really made our stay in Bangkok . It`s worth the expense if you can afford it...much cheaper to book through Agoda.

For those who have rated this hotel/serviced apartment complex as anything other than wonderful you are either on drugs or in urgent need of seeing a doctor. I have stayed at the Grande Centre Point (GCP) on four occasions now – total of 32 nights – and I remain convinced it is not just one of the best located (direct access to BTS, main Sukhumvit Road etc) hotels in Bangkok but the best value. Yes, it is not everybody’s budget but for those happy at $100/120 per night (there are days, but not many, when these prices are significantly more expensive) don’t waste your time looking elsewhere. If having shopping on your door step is a plus, then you have the brand new Terminal 21 shopping centre. And you if you want cheaper shopping then the extensive range of street stalls on Sukhumvit Road are just outside. If gym work is a chore to you, the hotel has tried to make it much easier with an extensive array of equipment (not some puny little room stuck somewhere in a corner as with so many hotels in the City) – all with built in tv monitors. If you like a swimming pool and sun deck that is not just a paddle pool with some under-investment in sun loungers, then again GCP wins. And this is before you discover that there is a very generous area given to crazy golf and tennis. What other hotel in the City gives you these facilities ? Many of the great restaurants of Bangkok are on the Sukhumvit stretch, so you have all these within easy walking or taxi (or BTS) distance from you. Terminal 21 itself has many good quality eateries. For the ‘night lovers’ you have Soi Cowboy 100 meters away. Finally if there was a criticism I had in early stays at GCP it was the staff were under-trained but management have obviously put some time and investment into this critical service. So yes I can understand why some people will argue the case for other hotels in Bangkok (there are after all some magnificent ones in the City), they tend they tend to be in a significantly more expensive

This was our first time coming to Bangkok and I was unsure of where to stay. I saw that a lot of hotels were located in Sukhumvit, so I figured they were fairly close together and booked this one based on the user ratings and price. Although, it is a very nice hotel with good rooms and well appointed, my mistake was not knowing how long it would take to get to any meaningful sights by taxi. Traffic is horrible and often takes close to an hour to get to the main attractions. Thankfully, the cost is usually around 200 baht. You have to negotiate flat rates at night, but the taxi drivers will tell you some story about night pricing being higher and they don't run the meter. If you are in Bangkok to shop, then the train will be fine to Siam Station and the shopping is really amazing here. That wasn't on our agenda, but we did check out the mall, since we wanted to buy some mobile phones for our next month of travel through SE Asia. One thing we found out too late was that the Marriott down the street is known for having an amazing rooftop bar and it could have been an alternative option for something to do in the area instead of going to other regions of Bangkok. If the hotel were in a more convenient location, it would have garnered almost all 5 stars. If you plan on just shopping and using the Sky Train to sssssssss, then you will be fine. The cost is super cheap (34 baht) from Siam to Thong Lo (station is only a 5 min walk to the hotel).

In my opinion, the lebua is one of the best hotels in Bangkok. Although we did only stay there for one night, we enjoyed the stay very much. The room was huge, with a big bed, couches and complimentary minibar. The room attendant was very professional and caring. As we did arrive too late in the evening to get to the tower club lounge, we were provided with complimentary drinks as a compensation. Best of all was the view over the city from the balcony in the 57th floor, espacially at night. There are a lot of interesting streets you can walk around close to the lebua, but it is also easy to get to the bts from there. A must-see is the bar/restaurant in the hotel, breeze, where you can fetch drinks and food while looking at the skyline of Bangkok - wonderful.

I enjoyed the stay at the Continent. It clearly follows a successful formula for Bangkok of providing a sophisticated product that comes across as having all the frills. The staff we genuinely hospitable and very efficient and professional and were helpful throughout which is a standard for all the better hotels in Bangkok. Ftether than that I would say my experience of the staff was on a par with hotels that might be charging a rate of 50% more. It does not really have the size and scale to feel like a 5 star property, I think that it is better classed as a very good quality boutique 4-star hotel. The rooms like the above indicates were well thought out with sexy design elements and fairly good quality fittings and maintenance but uses a lot of clever design ideas to mask the fact that they are not in fact all that large hence my reluctance to agree that it is a 5-star property. That said it was a quality and enjoyable experience staying in the room. Certainly for the price the hotel delivered plenty of value and is an easy recommendation to friends and family who want to stay. -there also was not much sign of any of the sleaziness that can be evident in other hotels in Bangkok.

This was our first stay at the Swissotel Le Concorde Hotel in Bangkok. We were very pleasantly surprised at the service we received when we arrived at the hotel. We were welcome with a glass of chilled ginger drink and a sweet hostess who got us registered in an up graded Premier room. She than escorted us to our room telling us about all the features of the hotel. Our three day stay was very relaxing. Every night we went down for drinks the waitress greeted us with a Sawadee and a smile. She remember us by our names and asked if she would see us the next night. We could not have asked for a better stay. This is a five(5)star hotel at a three(3) star price. The staff always spoke to us in English and we never had a problem understanding any of them. When we return to Thailand we will stay here again.

i would rated this as one of the best hotel in bangkok. Check in was very smooth and we have been upgraded. The check in was done in the suite. The room is big and clean with lot of space and spectacular view from the balcony. Staffs are politely trained, being really informative and helpful. The sky bar is a must visit place althought the food is super expensive. Price of drink is acceptable compare to others 5 stars hotel in bangkok. Breakfast was one of the best i ever had in Bangkok after staying in at least 10 5 stars hotel.

the staff in the hotel is really helpful and friendly and most of them speak pretty good english. you can get taxi from the hotel at any time, the staff will assist. the rooms are very comfortable, new furniture, very clean. the food is quite nice too and there is a 24 hour in room dining service. the pool has very nice lighting at night. and i loved the gym, the equipment is brand new and most of all you can access it at anytime using your key card! that applies to steam and dry sauna too. i've never seen a hotel with a 24-hour access to such facilities before. i found this to be absolutely impressive! there aren't many cons really. i stayed in this hotel total of 3 times and only problems i experienced was with channeling the tv, it shows "channel unavailable" message quite often, but i've managed to figure out how to deal with this eventually. that and the housekeeper turned off the fridge one time (i guess she thought i wasn't using it) but i had fruits there that went bad. i addressed the issue to the staff and they apologized deeply (and even offered to replace the fruits), this problem never happened again. overall this is probably the best hotel in bangkok!

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel and I can say with confidence that this is the best hotel in Bangkok. I had several needs that this hotel quickly accomodated. We needed to book some tickets to Siam Niramit and I inquired at the front desk, next thing I know we were booked and they wanted to give us directions which I already had. This is a soup to nuts hotel, if you need anything it will be done. The suite is a wonderfully decorated and functional room. It will not disappoint. Love the bidet toilet seats by Toto and the quality fixtures. The bar is a great place to grab a drink and enjoy the city view outside. The breakfast has just about everything you could want, but I try not to indulge too much and everything is just so tempting. I enjoyed the wonderful pool with a view. The internet always worked. The keycards never had a problem. I had numerous packages delivered here. I had several VIPs in Bangkok visit me here. Never a problem with them handling very expensive packages nor taking care of my friends who were always impressed when they came to visit. I didn't have to worry about them being rudely treated. So after all is said and done, don't even think twice about staying here. This should be your first choice, you will not be disappointed. I've traveled to Bangkok so many times and stayed at so many hotels here and this is at the top of the list.

We choose 137 pillars residence for our last night stay in Bangkok before flying back home and we were so happy with our choice. We stayed in a one bedroom residence, first we wanted to book a suite but the residence was totally fine, much better than we expected, we were on 22th floor and there was a small balcony with stunning view over Bangkok. It was very beautiful decorated, the size of residence is bigger than many other hotel rooms we had been with the same price (or higher) and what we really love are their bathroom amenities from panpuri and harnn!! The hotel itself is a luxury boutique hotel, the moment we entered the entrance we already felt relaxed. Staff are all very friendly, especially concierge I rate them with 6 stars, they are very helpful and I can tell that not every 5 stars hotel in Bangkok are like this. A big plus is that the hotel has a room on 27th fl. for after check-out you still can use the room to rest, taking shower etc. We will definitely come back again!

Choosing a hotel in Bangkok is not easy since there are hundreds of options. We visited Bangkok as first-time tourists and we stayed first in Arcadia Suites Phloen Chit for 1 night but we are not satisfied with the location, so we decided to transfer here in Eastin Hotel Sathorn for 2 nights. Location is convenient because it is just right there in Surasak BTS. This is just one station away to Saphan Taksin where the Central Pier in Chao Phraya River is located. From this pier, you can take the Express Boats going to the Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Asiatique the Riverfront. This hotel is ideal if you are going to visit these spots. But if you are in Bangkok for shopping, I suggest you book hotels around Chitlom Station, near the Central World Shopping Mall and Siam Paragon. Room is spacious, clean, comfortable. The only one thing that is lacking is the toilet bidet. Our stay in Eastin is very relaxing and we appreciate the hotel comfort and ambiance a lot.

In looking at Bangkok Hotels on Agoda, the star system seemed to be whacky, would look at a 4 or 5 star listing, pictures would be great, but reviews tended to say that rooms were old and not always clean, in need of remodel. Picked Well Hotel because it was new, opened Jan 2016. While a smaller hotel, everything was great, lobby and front desk staff great and always helpful and many spoke some English. Room was small as the listing said, but was spotlessly clean, and everything worked and the A/C was cold and you can leave it on when you leave room so it is not hot room each time you return. Breakfast buffet included with room was very good, large selection, nice dinning room, great staff. Other meals we ate outside, some of the street food that sets up outside the Hotel most nights was very good, especially the one close to the 7/11 (about 1 or 2 minute walk from Hotel. We ate there many nights, always busy. At hotel Elevators nice, pool nice (water a little on cold side) but pool staff fine. We arrived after 1 am and no problem, lobby staffed 24/7, departed at 400 am after 18 night's. Location good, short walk to Terminal 21 Mall one direction and short walk to Emporium Mall the other direction. Both malls also at train station. Room maid staff great, if they forgot something, were happy to correct it very quickly. Great place, would stay again, would recommend it.

In terms of location, the hotel is little bit off the "hot spots" of Bangkok, so you need to take subway westward one stop (16 baht) to Silom or eastward 3 stops (20 baht) to Sukhumvit for all the shopping and dinning experience. The best part of the hotel is its in room amenities. You've got carpet, bed reading light, extra pillows, separate shower/bath tube, various illuminating lights, CISCO phone which displays your name on it, and Bangkok Post delivered to your door. I think the amenities and room decoration standards are substantially better than those range hotels in Bangkok downtown area. Hotel staff are also very helpful. One thing is that the hotel is close to a main street so car noise can be heard in the room. But if you can tolerate low speed air conditioning in the sleep, this should not be an issue. I will seriously consider this hotel for my next stay in Bangkok.

me and my friend were looking for something cool and edgy boutique hotels in bangkok and found this one on the internet. this was the least expensive hotel among the 3 hotels we stayed in thailand (the other 2 are grande centre point and intercontinental resort hua hin). to our surprise, the room size is huge with all the necessary in-room facilities that u need. everything feels truly 5 stars and staff are nice and helpful. breakfast was also not bad. location is 3-5min walk from bts station so its very convenient. however most of the taxi drivers struggled to find this hotel. normally i am too lazy to give any feedback for the hotels but this hotel really deserves some compliment. highly recommended!

I booked the Hansar Bangkok Hotel last minute as I realised I'd left my partner and I with 24 hours before flying on to Koh Samui, and a friend gave me this recommendation. We had a difficult and uncomfortable flight, and were exhausted. After arriving in the cool, spacious and palatial Hansar Bangkok hotel we felt immense relief. The staff were impeccably helpful, even double checking our next flight details for us as there had been some confusion, and the room was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. Space, a fantastic view of a golf course (I'm not even in to golf, it was just nice to see), walking distance to many things worth walking to, and the ability to shut out the world and sleep. We slept for about 14 hours! I have a bad back and usually have a terrible time with different beds, but the bed at the Hansar was the greatest I've ever slept in. Better than my bed at home. My partner likes a firmer mattress than I do and she also found the bed brilliant. There is a washing machine in the room with detergent, a stovetop and a generously sized fridge. We didn't use these - but great to see them included! Breakfast was lovely, staff really helpful and friendly, would definitely stay here again - no problem.

we originally booked a studio room, but on our arrival (at about 8am) we asked for an early check in. there were no studio rooms available so, for an extra ฿1,000, we were upgraded to a 2 bed suite. nice! all the rooms had separate air con, we had a living room, two bathrooms, a kitchen (with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine/dryer) and a small balcony. nice modern decor and lighting. the beds were comfortable, not too soft and not as hard as some beds in thai hotels. plenty of wardrobe space and a safe in the master bedroom. a tv in both bedrooms and a tv dvd player in the living room. sofa + one chair and a dining table+ 4 chairs. there was a problem with the key card, it wouldn't open on two occasions, the staff were very quick to help and on the second occasion discovered that the battery in the lock needed changing. this was done quickly and efficiently by the very helpful and friendly hotel staff. the hotel is very well located for travel around bangkok. in the street outside there are two 7-11's a number of bars and restaurants, and street food vendors (very good noodle soup stall just out of the hotel, to the right). it is about 5 minutes walk to chid lom bts station and taxis can be hailed in the street outside the hotel. ฿50 to most central locations like mbk paragon etc. the door staff will go and flag one down for you while you wait in the lobby if it's raining. the view from the 33rd floor pool deck is definitely worth a look, stunning views of bangkok at night! overall this is a great hotel and agoda's discount makes it well worth the few extra baht over the cheaper alternatives. quite a 'hi-so' place but even though we are definitely not 'hi-so' people, we were made to feel very welcome by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. i only put 1 star for food/dining as we didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment.

We had two wonderful nights at this hotel. I doubt one can find another 5-Star hotel in Bangkok as good as this one for the same price. Certainly exceeded our expectations. All staff members are very professional and courteous. The gentlemen at the concierge are always there to greet when guests leave or enter the hotel. The hotel is very clean & beautifully decorated. Our room (deluxe) was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the biggest and most comfortable we’ve ever slept in! We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all amenities, but enjoyed the varied options at breakfast and the pianist that plays in the lobby area. I can not fault this hotel on anything. The location is perfect. Only a five-minute walk to the Emquartier mall and BTS. The only thing which was not so satisfactory is that we (non-smokers) were given a smoking room and unless the a/c was on the smell was really strong. I may have overlooked this detail whilst booking, so no fault of the hotel’s.
