Best hotels & accommodations in Banlung

We really enjoy our stay: nice staff, big room and perfectly clean, quiet with nice view on the lake. We definitely choise to stay here if we have to come back in Banlung. And last, as french we are bad in english, but the manager comes from France so we even don't need to use our bad accent here !

BanLung is not your usual tourist destination but for those who do venture there, this is a good place to stay. Our room was large and well appointed, the restaurant serves good value meals and the sky bar has tremendous views over the area. Best of all were the staff. We've never met such a pleasant group of people - the hotel management should be very proud.

This hotel is an oasis in Banlung. It’s beautifully decorated, the grounds are beautiful and clean. Rooms are cleaned daily and are lovely (we stayed in the cheapest room and it was still great). All rooms have a balcony with outdoor seating area. The staff is kind and helpful, food is good and not overpriced. We had no complaints whatsoever, would definitely stay aga...

Stunning location on the lake in Banlung but only a short distance to the market. Beautifully presented and spacious rooms with traditional Khmer furniture and ornaments. Impeccable menu with classic French cuisine- onglet, coq au vin and boeuf bourgignon but good variety of local food too. Excellent drinks selection also. The manager Priscilla and all the staff incre...

This homestay is my best experience in south east Asia ! I celebrated the new year with all the village and vuity family, it was so amazing and I realised that that was the real Cambodia, so welcoming and happy! Many things to do in the surroundings, you can book everything from the homestay ! Everyone should experience something like that ! Go there !!

I loved this place! The house we had was so big and completely in the nature. We had an amazing view on the valley from the balcony! The owner was so kind! He catched us from the bus station with a free pick up! And the restaurant too was cheap and delicious.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT AGODA BOOKING. I was rejected out of my rooms. They took no responsbilities with my booking. They said they have not use Agoda for the last 2 years so any booking made with them is not acknowledged. It is a SCAM! i paid in full and still waiting to get my money paid back for a room that i paid but was not allow to stay in!

Ban Lung is quite spread out, this hotel is on the lake which is a short tuk tuk ride (or longer walk) away from the central market. We used the hotel as a base to explore the area around Ban Lung which includes waterfalls and a water filled volcanic crater - great for a swim. The hotel has no restaurant but there is an ok one at the hotel next door and other options a...

Very friendly but run down, no toilet paper, shower did not work... Banlung Balcony is a very good alternative for the same price. However, we enjoyed the trekking with Sophat tours with super nice Krung guides who showed us a lot about their ways of living. We tried many diffrent kind of "jungle food" and they made everything from scratch, including cups and chopsti...

For the price, this is the nicest hotel I found in Banlung by far. The rooms are really clean and updated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak good English and can even help book treks and bus tickets. This was my 2nd stay here and I will go back again if I have the chance.

We had a lovely time here. If we needed anything the staff would help us, we had clean rooms everyday and nothing was to much trouble from booking Motos to mini van back to Phnom Penh. If you are looking for a nice, cheap place to stay this is it. Does not have a restaurant and is a little bit out of the centre of town.

I stayed in a Bungalow (looked like mostly bungalows). It had a bath tub, rain shower and regular shower. It had more character than a typical hotel. Good cable & TV. I liked the location because I wanted to be closer to Yeak Loam area but walking distance to downtown Ban Lung. A little difficult to find from the map and is off of a dirt dead end road. Very quiet while...

We couldn't have felt more welcome at Green Plateau. The owners (and their cute cat) were fantastic hosts and we couldn't believe how stunning the room was. We were able to arrange transport for trips to the waterfalls and lake easily, and had a great stay.

The bungalows here: awesome and comfortable. Staff, especially Mr. Sang and Mr. Pat, make you feel right at home - had great drinks and laughs with them. Views from bungalows overlook a green hill and, duh, beautiful sunset. Food in the cafe is tasty and reasonably priced. Took off one star for location only because it's a ten-minute walk from town center and street no...

Ended up staying here for 4 nights. Pros: - Amazingly large and pleasant pool - Recently renovated - Decent location, between downtown and the lake Cons: - Staff is symonymous with slothful at best and don't count on them for any help whatsoever - Biggest dead cockroach I ever saw on the floor when we arrived - Except for a single and dirty glass, there is NO...

The bungalows are in the most beautiful, peaceful and friendly area just out of Banlung centre. Everything is very clean, warm and welcoming. The owner is the nicest person we met, he built everything himself, he helped us with renting a motorbike, got us tickets to get to Laos and showed us lovely places to see around. He organizes tours to the natural park and can re...

We loved our stay at Bee Bee's chalets, it was absolutely unforgettable! The couple who runs the place is very welcoming and treated us like family since the first minute. We were picked up from the bus for free and the last day were taken to the bus too! Nita cooks like an angel and told us tons about Khmer culture in amazing English! Family dinners were always a deli...

I received a room as expected. The location is very good for who enjoys the tree and mountains views. The sub-road to turn back there is a bit hard for some small car with low-power engine. I need to take off people in my car in order to roll-up from the high, almost 70degree. ......=.=...../```````` But I enjoyed it. Just recommend !

Traveler impressions of Banlung
Quickly growing town. Friendly locals can take you out to see the jungle, swimming in the lake, and checking out the artesian gem miners.
You must have 24 hour transport of your own. The volcanic lake is 7 kilometers from town. The market, restaurants and hotels are some distance apart.
Traveled from Mondulkiri to ratanakiri, enjoyed rattanakiri alot more. Waterfalls and swimming spots were beautiful.
