From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and comfortable by the owner Gagan and his excellent team. The cottages are spacious, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The resort grounds are well laid out, there is an extremely imaginative dining and communal area and the surrounding views are spectacular. The food throughout our stay was tasty and beautifully presented and on our final night we were treated to a feast cooked on a mud built oven beneath the stars. The drives into the park were exhilarating and although we didn't actually spot a tiger, hearing the alarm calls of panicked deer and the powerful growls from the tiger from within the bamboo thickets was amazing. Gagan's knowledgeable staff helped us spot a huge range of other wildlife both in the park and around the resort compound, the highlight being a leopard crouching for 20 minutes just a few metres from the resort late one evening. Not spotting a tiger just gives us the perfect excuse to come back which we undoubtably will. Thanks to Gagan and his father for their warm and generous hospitality
