Brighton and Hove hotels & places to stay

Very impressed with this hotel. The can't-be-beat heart of Brighton location. The bright look. Friendly staff and large modern well-designed room. Dinner at the Chili Pickle was fantastic. And Tesco express across the road for cheap room supplies. I will definitely stay there again and will be recommending to anyone I know who is visiting Brighton and Hove.

This is a very grand old building that could be a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect but the hotel is in need of a bit of loving, it's very run down and dated. Cannot fault the staff one bit, they were very good, friendly and efficient. Give the hotel a thorough cleaning and modernising and stop charging for wifi and this could be the best hotel in Brighton. It's such a shame and quite sad as the building is very grand indeed, show it some live people. Oh yeah, there was a rather strange smell in my room in the morning too, wasn't me, honest.

We have stayed at the queens numerous times and this time we took our 5 year old daughter who was very impressed. Every time we have stayed we have been more than happy with our rooms, I have searched through almost all of the hotels in Brighton and I can honestly say the queens is hard to beat. The 3 star rating is not good enough for this little gem. We can't wait to book up again. Staff are also very accommodating and extremely polite, I cannot fault this hotel.

Comfortable relaxed and informal. Lovely find in a headdy mix of hotels. Will always stay here now if in Brighton. The best breakfast in town. We did not have the opportunity to dine but will do so next time we visit.

As mentioned, this was a study hotel so there were many students walking in and out but it was very impressive. The rooms were big, comfortable, clean and at a pretty good location. Parking was hard to find, but that's not a big issue. The staff were very friendly, they try their best to answer our questions about parking matters and places to go in Brighton. Overall, i'd recommend this hotel as they also have 24 hr check in.

We stayed there for just one night, on my way back of a job in south london. Spent a night and a day in Brighton and drove back to Belgium in the evening. Nice little town, not so far from Folkestone/Eurotunnel. Lots of youths in town, good vibes. Very well situated hotel. Car park was not free, and should be.

My partner and I decided in the last minute to spend two days in Brighton and the night before I found a really good deal and I booked for two nights. Staff very welkoming, really nice room and very clean. Good position in front of the sea abd 20 min by feet from the center, pavillon and nice market street. I raccomend it 100%

It was a fantastic stay at the hotel. Front line staff is very attainable and helpfull. Location of the hotel is just abt 3 minutes walk from Brighton train station. Bus to all main attractions is accessible in front of the hotel. Taxi service also is at the front of the hotel. You dont have to worry about dining as everything is within walking distance. Walk about 10-15minutes and you can reach to Brighton beach. Shopping area is within walking distance as well. Nothing much I can say, Ibis Brighton is just a perfect hotel for us and perhaps to everybody else as well.

Lovely hotel, liked all the different sitting areas on the ground floor. Great bar, great location. Nice bedrooms, very comfortable but far too hot! I had to turn the radiator off straight away and even with the window open it was still far too hot overnight, shame there was no air con to adjust. Unfortunatley due to the great location comes the noise of the "drunks" coming home alnight, so the window had to be shut! Obviously noise is not the fault of the hotel. Nice breakfast with buffet, this is the way forward. One of the best hotels I have stayed in, in Brighton and good value for money.

My best friend and I met in Brighton for a spot of Xmas shopping and an evening out as we haven’t seen each other in ages. The accommodation was perfect for that. The twin room was small, but we forgot after a minute or 2. The breakfast hamper was gorgeous and we sat in bed nattering for 2 hours whilst eating it. Minimal staff intervention, key pad on the door, very clean and well decorated. Great to stroll away from shops along the beach to the quieter Kemp town area where the Inn is. Would highly recommend

I believe that their strongest point is their staff's professionalism and sincere friendliness. They score 11 out of 10 at that one! Definetely will return to them when re-visit Brighton!

Nothing really wrong with this hotel a bit overpriced but it is Brighton and Hove prices. I have one complaint the doors are too heavy and we're constantly banged.

I very much enjoyed the stay at the Seafield House. Any problems we had were immediately addressed by the staff and the room was cleaned daily. The distance from Brighton was a tad farther than I thought it was going to be but located nicely in Hove. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel, so quirky and fun! Literally so central to all places in the heart of Brighton! The room ‘Bettie’s Boudoir’ was just something else, my friend who I went with is completely obsessed with all things leopard print and she did not want to leave! it's quite a long way along the seafront, getting more into hove than brighton, but still a really easy walk into the centre of things. the one thing that was slightly weird was that some of the windows in our room were made of glass slats, with little gaps at the edges - so if there'd been a cold wind in the right direction we'd have had a bit of a draft in the room. against that, they had a really impressive room service menu, and the staff were lovely.

I needed to stay one weekend night in Brighton and found this hotel. It is a short walk from Brighton Pier and Kemptown. The room was small but perfect for a single. Tea kettle and coffee in the room. Bed was very comfortable and cozy. Free parking up front. I would stay here again.

The backpacker is situated in downtown, close to the beach but also the streets filled with cute shops. The staff was very nice and even my booking information wasn't accurate on their system, I just send them my version of confirmation… the living room area is small yet cozy with the couches. the kitchen is clean. The toilet and bathroom are well taken care of and travellers there are quite considerate (or perhaps the numerous signs in bathrooms help). shower wasn't great tho, the water pressure is quite weak. breakfasts was okay, it's cereal, breads and scones, don't expect there would be eggs or so. it's a lovely place, if I visit Brighton again I would stay there!

This is my third time in Brighton but the first time stay here. This is probably the best backpack hostel I've ever stayed in the UK. Perfect location, I can even see the sea in my room. Its a 6 female dorm, the room is big and clean. The private bathroom is the best part, modern and decent, totally hotel-standard. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I arrived at about 10pm and had some hot food at the lovely bar. However, there are only limited free lockers in each dorm, it provides more lockers(which need to pay but at a considerate price) on the first floor, these can be used even after checked out, its excellent for solo travellers. Will definitely choose here next time!

We have stayed at this hotel on 4 or 5 ocassions. This is our first choice of hotel @ Brighton, it is situated in the centre of the Marina. The staff always greet you with a smile, nothing is too much trouble.

From the moment walking in, I was smiling! Duty Manager, (Firose), was the most welcoming of Staff...explained everything, (and we were arriving later than planned, thus were the last to check in). He could not do enough for us! There is a bar attached to the hotel, (NOT run by the hotel). On our Sat stay there it had Karaoke which, (while loud definitely), was eventually a lot of fun! Quite a gay athmosphere, (in the current sense......after all, it IS Brighton), and that added to the fun! Breakfast INCLUDED a very filling Continental breakfast, (Full English avaiable at extra cost of £9). As we were having an early lunch with friends Contenental suited us just fine. Sunday was a beautiful sunny day and we had a wonderful view of the Pier from the restaurant. I recommend Room 26 for a coupl. Small but VERY quiet. Karaoke ends at midnight, & while there's a club right nect door, it didn't disturb us t all. In any event, earbuds are provided in every room. Will recommend AND stay again!

Legends is a gay operated and owned hotel. Excellent site along the Brighton seafront. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Crisp, white linen. Breakfast WAS included although Agda voucher said NO. In fact, breakfast was far too much.

I booked this hotel after realising that most hotels in London whacked up their prices over new year's so I decided that it was more affordable and nice to stay in nearby Brighton. I had a budget of around 50 pounds as I was staying on my own and I managed to get this place for 60 which I thought was a steal with breakfast included. The room was done out beautifully! Lovely canvases on the wall, beautiful big bed and all the little home comforts that you need - plenty of shower, moisturiser, tissues, tea and a DVD player. This is a great idea to provide travellers with a library of films to choose from. The location is 30secs from the sea so I enjoyed morning runs there - 2mins from Brighton Pier. There are shops and restaurants galore with a lovely guide in the room to help pick from the wide choice. Simon and Richard are lovely people and make you feel at home. They gave me lots of advice about where to eat, run and what to do in Brighton. I took there advice on a lovely. Best hotel!

Located right in the heart of old town Brighton and just yards from the beach, you could not be better located. with that of course comes all the hustle and bustle of a seaside town, but the Hotel du Vin provides a little oasis of calm in all this. the rooms and corridors are a little cramped as this is an old building, but the courtyard (in season), the cocktail bar and great restaurant provide plenty of room to lounge and lubricate. Often full of wedding parties on the weekend.

We stayed for just one night, sadly! It's a 10 minute stroll to the pier so easily accessible, and the car park is adjacent (around £18 for 24 hours so do be prepared). Really excellent value for money considering it's Brighton, and the food at their attached restaurant, The Regency, was nothing short of superb.

if you've not been to brighton before then throw your "value" ideas out the window - this is a very expensive place to stay. for a basic room with en suite you'll pay a night in a place that's been around for a hundred years or so... if you want modern luxury look elsewhere. this was the 10th time i've visited brighton in the last 6 years and cecil house ranks near the top of the list. it's only a 10 minute walk west of the pier, right on the front, and it's pretty good but not special in most respects. where cecil house stands out is in the customer service and the beds - there is someone on reception 24/7 and every effort was made to make sure we had a good stay. then there's the beds... you just don't want to get up - if i've slept in a more comfortable bed i can't remember it.

The hotel itself is more homely than modern as the website suggests, earthy tones, squashy sofas and rooms that are spotless but a little worn. It's very close to the seafront which probably explains the price but, the thing that really blew us away was the staff. They really bent over backwards to accommodate us and the customer service was up there with the best of them. Its a small hotel and we were made to feel right at home.

Fantastic to say the least. The rooms were clean and nice. Beds were very comfortable. The location is incredible. As you step out the hotel - you're on the beach along with Brighton Pier. The staff are very nice and friendly and always happy to help. Hopefully in the future, guests can be exempt from the street car parking charges. Keep up the good work!!

It would be petty to complain about the hotel so I won’t.. it was a really polite experience , and when I requested more milk for the room I got loads😂 Brighton is lovely, clean, lots to do with a beautiful beach..
