Cagliari hotels & places to stay

We are staying in the heart of Cagliari old town. The hotel is beautiful and we have a room which has two terraces and two bathrooms. The breakfast is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely come here again.

Amazing hotel with pure luxury. Lobby is spectacular, rooms are modern. Must take a bus/cab from train or bus station. Great views of Cagliari and superb breakfast!

We loved our stay at La Villa del Mare with our family of 5. Very friendly reception and service, great location in front of the beach and good food. We’d be back here when visiting Cagliari for sure

Ketty is very helpful that she helped me to contact a bus company. I really enjoyed staying here with great view of city and located in the heart of Cagliari. Beautiful living room with free coffee. I got a split room and very comfortable. Unfortunately, I stayed overnight and I'd choose here for my next time in Cagliari. Ploy

The hotel is very clean and has very nice rooms. The staff is very friendly and there is a pool outside of the hotel. The prices for drinks are fare too high, that was the only negative point of the stay. Parking was available in and out side of the hotel.

Ceasar's Hotel is located 10 - 15 minutes drive from the CBD. This would suit the need of those who want to be close to the CBD but not troubled by noise and traffic which can have a negative impact on a stay. At Ceasar's one was able to walk around suburban accommodation which gave added insights to the city.

We were travelling as a group on holiday and booked 3 rooms at the hotel. As we pulled up, our taxi driver asked if we were really staying here, as there's nothing to do in the area, which worried us a little...and she was right. The website claims that the hotel is 0.1km from the city centre. It's not. It's a good 10 minutes taxi ride away to get to the old part of the town. That's not a problem in itself (apart from relying on taxis to get anywhere), but we tend to chose places when we travel that are within walking distances of some life, so we were disappointed. There is nothing within walking distance (except for a petrol station directly underneath the hotel) The website includes photos of the lovely beaches - so we assumed that there were beaches nearby. There are not. Poetto is a good 20 minutes away in a taxi, so again we felt that the hotel overplayed the nearby attractions. The website also includes a lovely photo of someone sitting on a balcony with beautiful gardens in the background. The trees have been photoshopped, as this particular view is actually of a dead palm tree and a car park. We travel as a group a lot together and rely heavily on the website descriptions, and whilst this did not really spoil our time together, we certainly would not have chosen this place to stay as there is really nothing in the immediate walking area to do (the hotel is basically in the middle of an industrial area) On the positive side, the staff were really nice and the rooms were clean - and a good choice for breakfast. We decided, incidentally, to checkout early and come back home as it was cheaper to change a flight and do something in London than to get taxis away from the hotel for something to do on our last day (rather than just lounge around the hotel as we'd often do together)

A long way out of Cagliari and you need to take 2 buses to get there. The restaurant is better than the hotel. The hotel breakfast is a disgrace with a poor choice with the stale bread and pastries Espresso coffee is the only redeeming feature. The best beach is the public one next door.

We had a great stay at La Peonia. The rooms were nice and large, the breakfast was really nice. The hotel is a short drive to the main town and is close to the airport. The most memorable aspect of our stay was Antonello and Vanna; their hospitality was outstanding and they were very helpful. Really nice people.

Really VERY good....a lot of thought has gone into making this budget option comfy and cosy. Love all the beach paraphernalia...portholes on the room doors, so cute. Cosy lamps in the sitting room a lovely touch. A fantastic coffee machine (pods) and a generous breakfast. Absolute bargain -these people deserve the business.Grazie La Solemar!

Right along the old city wall, with a great ocean view, plus very clean, well-quipped and spacious room. No complaint whatsoever!

We highly recommend the hotel. The room was clean, nicely designed (with AC which is great on 40*C day!), the whole apartment has a good location and modern look. Little walk up the street in a very Italian style street, we loved it! Owner Diego is very friendly and helpful. We had to go to the airport at 5a.m. and no taxi wanted to take us so early and Diego gave us a ride! He saved us as I don't know what else we'd do ... Highly recommended!:)

Location is perfect. You can reach everything on foot. Really easy to find apartment. From airport just take train and then walk for a few min. Apartment itself is two big rooms divided by kitchen. WiFi works best in the kitchen. Great place to meet you neighbours from other room:)

Great rooms, price is good while very accessible to going to Cagliari centre. Bathrooms exceptional, cleaned everyday and very fast.

Bellezza is located in the center of old Cagliari, convenient to the historic attractions and many restaurants. It occupies one floor of a four level building, running the width of the small block on which it is located. The breakfast room and parlor are nice, with large windows opening onto the street. Most of the bedrooms are in the center of the building, and the windows from the bedrooms and bathrooms open onto a relatively small light shaft. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are of a reasonable size. If you can afford to, it is probably a good idea to pay for the most expensive rooms, which have windows that open to the major street on the opposite side of the flat. The breakfast is simple but adequate, and there is a coffee machine available for fresh coffee at all times.

Excellent location which enables you to walk around town or catch a bus if you need to. Very clean premises. Shower a little small but the room is modern and does the job if you are in Cagliari out all day and back for a rest or sleep. The owner, Carmen, greeted us at the airport and was very helpful. There is a handy annex where you can help yourself with mineral water/juices or even squeeze your own organic lime juice. Cagliari is a very pricy place for food and drinks out so the accommodation will also be pricy. This place offers location/cleanliness/hospitality. We were allowed to leave our luggage after checkout since we had a late evening flight. Appreciated.

We loved our stay at Castelletto Suites - it's a charming yet modern and spacious apartment with everything a couple would need (the owner was also kind enough to give us a free upgrade upon arrival). A special shout out to Debbie who was particularly lovely to deal with. We look forward to returning!

I loved it so much! Viviana, the owner and hostess, is one of the nicest and sweetest people I ever met. She does most of the managing herself, including cleaning and she does it all with dedication. The only reason I gave the location ☆☆☆☆ is that the window/balcony has a view of the narrow street, in which crazy Italian men almost hit you with their cars. The reason I gave the facilities 4 stars ☆☆☆☆ as well is because of the matras and the external bathroom. I sleep on my side and the matras was a little uncomfortable due to it slightly hurting my hip and shoulder bones. The bathroom of the single room is on the other side of the appartment, which is not far at all, but when I woke up in the middle of the night because I had to go, going to the bathroom and back was enough to get me wide awake and cause trouble falling back asleep. But as I said, I loved my stay and I am 100% certainly going back 😁

I used to live in cagliari for mote than 2years. This is the first time i visit cagliari as tourist and to be honest this is a great place to stay due to location and good family environment i this bnb. I fully recommend your stay in cagliari in this bnb.

The hotel was beautiful, well-kept and well located in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Parking (Metropark Spa) was two blocks away for 10 Euro a day. Would strongly recommend.

Very big and fresh place, so full of little details to make the perfect time there. It's really close to The airport, although you need the car or taxi to get there (no walking paths) Perfect for that night before your flight. Thanks! Totally recommended
