Staying at GRT Chennai hotel was my first time. I always have not had great experiences with hotels regardless of how great or reputed they are, but this one. I absolutely loved everything about GRT Chennai. Food, staff, cleanliness, entertainment and other facilities. I was 100% relaxed at the hotel. Staff were very well-mannered and helpful. They don't hassle you or even bother coming after you for tips. And that's one of the best things about the hotel. I liked the gym facilities and also the spa. Will definitely stay there again next time.

I would highly recommend Raintree Hotel Anna Salai. It is one of the best hotels in Chennai. This will be my first choice always. A very special thanks to all the Staff and Management especially Mr. Dhinesh Babu - Director of Rooms.

My favourite hotel in Chennai, Excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. Food is excellent as well. Highly recommended. Mr Elango and Ms Merly have also helped me several times along with many other staff.

We stayed this hotel from 9th - 12th of May 2015. Our stay was pleasant and memorable. The Hotel is placed in a very convenient location in the heart of T. Nagar. It's just 4 mins. walk to Saravanas Selvaratnam Retail Stores and about 6-9 mins. walking distance to The Chennai Silks & Pothys. The only complaint that we have is that we lost about 9000/- (Sri Lankan Rupees) which was in a wallet in my wife's handbag left on the chair (inside the room), on the day that we checked out. I had specifically requested the House Keeping staff, not to clean the Room, and told that we will be checking out that morning. In spite of my request, I found that the room was cleaned. We found a (pink colored) folded paper inserted into the card slot to switch the lights on. We also found a receipt that was kept in my wife's handbag lying on the chair where the handbag was left. We never suspected about any theft since its a reputed hotel. However,after landing in Colombo, on our way from the Airport we needed some local currency for some purchases, that is when I found that the cash is missing (A SLRs. 5000/- note and four 1000/- notes). Although it's a small amount, I feel that I must keep the future guests aware, in order to avoid such situations. It may not be the fault of the Hotel Management. This information will at least help them find out the culprit, by checking the CCTV footage as to who had entered the room while we were away. Other than that it's a very place to stay.

I only stayed in Chennai for 1 night as a business traveler so after reviewing many hotels in Chennai on the AGODA website i decided to stay at the Residency Towers after reading some of the reviews, i found the hotel to be quite convenient for the airport, only around 30mins drive, the hotel provided me with the airport transfer as i requested and the driver waited for me even though the flight was delayed, i found the hotel staff to be very kind and helpful, unfortunately i had to checkout very early and therefore missed the Indian breakfast buffet, but the front desk staff organized for a takeaway breakfast for me, during my stay there i was missing my luggage from the Emirates flight so was unable to use the swimming pool and fitness facilities but i did have a look at these and it looked very nice indeed, also there is some big department stores within walking distance from the hotel and also many restaurants and convenience stores all within walking distance, i would be very happy to stay at the Residency Towers for my future trips to Chennai

I have not stayed at a five star hotel in Chennai before. But I have in other countries like Bangkok and Indonesia. It measures up where it needs to, like staff friendliness and service efficiency. But I would find fault in the old bathrooms and the lack of polish in their up keep of furniture. it's an old hotel so it's forgivable I suppose. The breakfast buffet was more than what I expected with the rooftop dining have very rich and tasty selection of dishes. Friendly staff in that restaurant made the 25 minute wait for our hungry slightly more bearable. Overall, it's what I paid for, so I really cannot complain much. But it's a good four star at best. Not five star.

This is one of the oldest hotels in Chennai, and so we did not expect it to be well-maintained. We booked it mainly for its location, in the heart of the city and closeness to the beach. But we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the fairly modern rooms. Washrooms are very clean and have the facilities that most guests would require: hot water throughout the day, clean towels, shampoo, toothpaste etc. Housekeeping services are excellent. Staff, right from bell boys to reception and housekeeping is very helpful and cooperative. The complimentary buffet breakfast has a wide range including South Indian items and American. Overall, a comfortable and safe place to stay in.

Having stayed in many hotels in various countries, I did not have much expectations for Leela Palace Hotel thinking it was just a normal local chain of hotel. I was so wrong. The service staff made me welcome from the very moment I arrived at the hotel. Room was fantastic with a view of the sea. Breakfast buffet was good with wide variety of international dishes. Beats all the international chain of hotels in India! Has to be the best hotel in Chennai and locat

My 2nd time here. As before had a fun time with the family. Hotel inside the best shopping mall in chennai. Would stay here next time just for the convenience of being near to all. Hotel has a vegetarian restaurant which will not hinder ones appetite in any way considering there are plenty of restaurants and eateries inside the mall. For a 4 star hotel i was disappointed not to find any toothbrush or toothpaste in the bathroom. Over all a must stay for anyone here on leisure or business.

I stayed in this hotel out of God's blessings at the time of India currency crisis. I was not able to find Indian currency in Singapore. Fortunately, after landing in Chennai airport the airport money exchanger was able to give me some badly-needed Indian Rupees for me to travel by taxi to this hotel. There is no way to walk to the hotel from the airport as the hotel is not next to the airport. Quality Inn Airport should provide round-trip free airport transfers instead of one-way free transfer to the airport so that it makes travel easier between the hotel and the airport. The hotel room is clean and the bed is cosy. Complimentary breakfast includes water melon and cereals but limited. Staff especially the bellman are friendly and hospitable. The lift is modern. There is no need to open the lift door manually unlike during my previous stay in another Chennai hotel. Overall, my hotel stay and holidays in Chennai are unforgettable.

I'm international traveler and I been in many places in world, this hotel is truly 5 star, they make you feel like home. The staff is super friendly, it spotless clean, it for sure has a great value on you money. I stay in other hotels in Chennai with bigger name, that not even close to what you get in this hotel. For sure will hieghly recommended

I was longing for a break after having a few hectic months at work.. was browsing thru the hotels in Chennai and after reading some interesting reviews of Hyatt, my sister and i thought we could give it a try..I would say i made a wise choice.. service was over the top.. room was great..check-in was smooth and fast, although it was a very early check-in, they still managed to accommodate us immediately.. just what we needed after a long nights of travel... i would like to give my credits to Mr.Murali (Asst Manager Housekeeping), he was extremely humble, friendly and efficient.. In general staffs of Hyatt are wonderful.. Will definitely be back again in my next visit.. Thanks again for the great stay...

I have stayed in other similarily priced hotels in Chennai and this one is the best by a long way. My room was large and everything worked including the hot water(not so in other Chennai hotels) and wifi. Pluses included availablity of restuarant (rooftop) as well as good breakfast. Staff contact was friendly and helpful.

I was on a business trip come short holiday where I had my younger sister with me who visited India for the first time. We was traveling around few places with a tight schedule. After our long travel from Bangalore to trichy and to chennai on the same day, we arrived at this wonderful welcoming hotel. Upon arrival we were greet by wonderful staff who always had smile on their faces. The front desk officers were very polite and made sure they did the check in process fast as they understand the situation of their guest. When we entered the room we could just feel the relaxation that we would get that night. The interior of the room was really good. We had a great sleep. The next day morning we had our buffer at the hotel itself. The choices of food was good, they had lots of variety, coming from Malaysia the paradise for food, we really enjoyed the menu that they offed. I should always say this again and again the staff at this hotel really cares about the satisfaction of guest. They don't even give you a minute to even ask for something, they keep checking if we need anything and made sure we had everything needed. After a whole day of shopping we came back to the hotel and it was Christmas eve and the hotel had special buffer dinner. It was really a wonderful dinner, they had too many varieties . The next day we had a early flight and I requested for a wake up call. The officers were too kind to be concern about breakfast as we had to leave at 5am. They got us packed breakfast in the morning and gave us when we checked out. We really enjoyed our stay here and have decided that this will only be the hotel that we will be looking forward to stay during our chennai trips.

I stayed at the Ramada Plaza, Chennai for 2 nights. I had a really good experience staying there. They ran out of the room type I had booked last minute, so they upgraded me to a premium room at no additional cost. As a solo woman traveller, I felt very safe at all times. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The staff are really courteous and great at service. I ordered room service a couple of times, the food though pricy is very good. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a good spread. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Chennai.

Location is good. We stayed here for 4 Nights. The hotel is very near (walking distance) to famous restaurant like Amma Chettinadu Restaurant, Hotel Virudhunagar Chettinad, Murugan Idli, Pakwan Chennai and etc. The Pothys Boutique is also very near about 2 minutes walk. The best thing about this boutiques is that it provides free shuttle service To Pothys T Nagar. We enjoyed shopping at both branches. What I love most about Benzzpark Hotel is their hot water shower. My godness after a long tiring walk, you would enjoy satisfying hot shower. Food is meet requirement only. I have tasted better breakfast buffet in Chennai at similar rate

It was really worthwhile for every single money we paid. The room was clean, fit well with young modern taste and spacious for family.They have small cooking area which is unusual for 3 star hotel to offer, very handy for those who brings small children which need simple home cooking. Really happy with the hotel staff who is really helpful. The best part of the hotel is 24 hour check in which is great for those who want to check in and check out early. Overall, the best value money for 3 star hotel in Chennai.

This was the best hotel I stayed in during my travels in India. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the restaurant and bakery are open 24 hours, the rooms are nicer than most American hotels, and it’s extremely close to the airport. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Chennai.

I and a friend from Singapore traveled to Chennai for a vacation, and the best thing we did was booking Clarion. It was value for money. The hotel was just a 5min walk from a mall and it might life much easier. We were able to a catch a movie at night and walk back to the hotel without any hassle. The staff were extremely nice and went out of the way to assist us whenever possible. The daily breakfast that we had booked was a bonus. The housekeeping service was done promptly and so was the laundry. I will surely recommend this place an go back to this hotel the next time i visit Chennai.

The Residency located in the heart of the Chennai city, 30 mins away from the airport which is very convenient to reach! I had a wonderful experience staying in the hotel, it has two restaurant offering delicious food, Chin-Chin is one the the best Chinese restaurant in the city. The whole hotel is covered Wi-Fi with good signal, saves me a lot of work for sending emails, searching the internet. In general, The Residency is one the best hotel in Chennai that i strongly recommend it to anyone who will visit Chennai in the future.

the hotel in Chennai is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. It is a beautiful, modern hotel with excellent service, outstanding food and a great set of amenities. The most impressive amenites are the spa and the gym. I would recommend it withou a doubt !

Location is superb. Two doors down the hotel is the Andra government tourism office which caters for trip packages to n fro to Tirupathi and picks up passengers here at the office. Great place to stay

Booking a service apartment was a terrible mistake because service apartment of ITC Grand Chola doesn’t fit the claim of being a luxury hotel . I booked the service apartment as I want my daughters to be in the same room. 1. The timber floor was a horrible sight with scratch mark everywhere like not polished for years. 2. The curtain in our room was crumpled and was a pain to the eyes. 3. There were dust on the TV decoder which was clearly visible. 4. The housekeeper who did the housekeeping job left his dirty shoe marks on the bathroom floor. 5. Water stain mark was clearly visible on the toilet bowl in the room 6. The balcony was very dirty and looks like a balcony in a non star rated hotel. 7. Reception staff needs more training to be courteous and warm. I have stayed in a number of 5 star hotels in Chennai and I did not expect this from ITC Grand Chola

I loved the friendly environment, kindness and caring staff. Truly professional staff in all departments - a remarkable five star experience. All the staff from front desk to house keeping, restaurant, etc were very professional and took very good care of us. Special mention - Ms Ceetai, Mr Sasi (Restaurant) and Mr Bala (Front office) they were very nice. The best service i have ever had, all staff with a big smile that's the most lovely thing i've noticed. This will be my permanent stopover for me all my future trips to Chennai.

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. It is not a lavish hotel, the rooms are a bit old fashioned but their service was amazing. Chennai is on a water crisis but whenever we requested some drinking water they provided it without any questions. And never charged extra. The rooms are spacious, clean and maintained every day. The location is in a residential area so not much traffic around the place. They have a nice restaurant, quite famous, on the first floor which serves north n south Indian dishes. Their breakfast is really good. The only problem is - access to their front door by car is not easily possible as it is at the side of the building. Blue Iris management should work on it.

We stayed here for two nights passing through chennai.. The hotel is beautiful and new, the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with everything you need except there is no alcohol in the mini bar. We were swamped with three room deliveries of complimentary tarts and cakes on the first day with a note on only one of the tarts saying it was their tart of the day. We received no complimentary deliveries during our second day... Confusing! the hotel was only recently opened there remains some building works (daytime noise and paint odor as you move about the hotel). Additionally, the bar and specialty restaurant are not yet open so there is only one restaurant available for meals and drinks. The food was excellent ( western and southern indian) but expensive, as were drinks). I suspect the staff are currently being trained as service was really unpredictable, either there was noone around or we had three or more waiters trying to take our order one after another. The rooftop pool is an oasis; a lovely place to unwind after being out in busy, dusty, noisy, intense chennai. Depending on the room price, we may stay here again as my thoughts are that the staff are just finding their feet and learning how to communicate with one another all I'd which was creating small hiccups for us as guests, but the hotel has got the bones of a slick 5 star and hopefully will start to operate as smoothly as one shortly.

Was very surprised to see the rates for 2 Triple Deluxe Room. We were 5 Adults and 1 Child (6yrs). We got into the Hotel and the Staff were very decently dressed and greeted and allotted the Rooms Instantly. Everything went fine with our stay for 2 days. The Staff by name Pradeep was very helpful and also smiling whenever I approached him with query. Excellent and TRUE Illustration of Customer Service. Looking forward to book the same Hotel in future whenever visiting Chennai.

This Hotel shows that it is located on the Airport Road, however this is not true, it is 34kms far from the Airport and 55kms away from the Chennai Central. I booked this hotel on the perception that it is close to Airport but in vain. We spend 2600 INR from the Chennai Central Railway Station to reach to Hotel. Hotel Property is very nice as it is ITC brand, polite and helpful staff, good and wide variety of breakfast, tasty food - we took lunch and dinner in the hotel as their was no option to move out. I was totally surprised to see their Cab service charges - it's on a very higher side. Airport transfer is 1050 + taxes which is doubled as compare to Uber and Ola. We stayed at Fortune South Point, Trivandrum and the cab charges was very nominal and within budget. This is totally unexpected that same Facilities charges are so different. If you are looking to see the city then this hotel should not be considered.

This was my second visit to this hotel, and I'd readily return when next in Chennai. Great staff, food, facilities, and good value if booked through discount sites such as Agoda - not great value if you book through the hotel directly or through Radisson Club. The room that I booked for this last stay cost ~$160AUD and was an upgrade (for $9AUD) to Radisson Club Room, which was very good value and the best standard of the three different tiers I've enjoyed in this venue. But the same room costs $250AUD plus taxes (which are substantial) if you go through non-discounted channels. Be aware that taxes also add significantly to the list price of menu items and massages etc, even after discount vouchers are applied. This can cause a bit of a shock if you've budgeted based on list prices. But in most cases, the foreign exchange rate will still be very favourable. I don't hesitate in recommending this hotel but shop around for the best price, and watch the taxes.

I stayed at the Belstead for two days. I was on a work related trip. The entrance is almost invisible due to the pedestrian bridge stairs right in front of the hotel entrance. But once you enter the hotel, you can see it is a wonderful place! Apparently it was renovated two years ago and got its new name. Every detail in the hotel is superb. The rooms are well appointed and tastefully done. The service is great. From check in to check out, I had no problems with anything. The only thing I had a minor issue with is: Breakfast buffet doesn't start till 7.30 am. For business travelers, sometimes this is a bit late. If they could start at 7 am, it would be a great help. Apparently, the norm in Chennai is for breakfast 7.30 am and after. So I had to rush through my breakfast in 10 minutes so that I could leave for my appointment. This was the only downside. If they fix this, I really would have nothing negative to report. Overall, a great place to stay in chennai. I would highly recommend
