Accommodation was central to Fuhcu train station. The train network is very easy to use with colours for lines and numbers for stations and of course the very helpful station staff.
Lots to see and do, the food was delicious and people friendly.

Breakfast had very little choice for westerners. Same every day.
Bed was small and hard. Room smelly.

"I stayed in this hotel for just about a month, and it was wonderful! Especially for the prices! The room was private and had a toilet, bath, shower, washing machine, fridge, microwave, TV, free internet, pretty much everything I needed in a long-time stay like that. The only inconvenience was the location. I was traveling by train using the JR Pass and the closest JR station is Kita-Fuchu, about a 15-20min walk. And traveling to the heart of Tokyo took a bit longer than other hotel locations. But for the price it was well worth it in my opinion. It was exactly what I was looking for."Show more

"Short and sweet. I arrived into Tokyo later than expected, and didn't realize the hotel would be so far from the center of town. I had to take the JR train to the Keio line and then take that out to the Chofu stop. Much farther than I had anticipated. Clearly I did not do my research.
I arrived at the hotel around midnight and just barely made it up in time to check out at 11:00. Not much else to say besides it served its purpose as a quiet, comfortable place to sleep."Show more

"It was a pleasant stay. The room is too small but still okay since almost all day you will be out of the hotel. It's good for having a budget stay near Tokyo and if you prefer a private room with own bathroom instead of taking backpacker rooms or capsules. We still had a good pleasant sleep. The hotel is located in West Tokyo which is near to Showa Kinen Park and quite convenient for train stations transfer going to Mt. Fuji. Nearest station is Fuchu and it's 30 minutes away from Shinjuku but ensure to take the special express train."Show more
