Traveling to South Korea? Find Chuncheon-si hotels

We had a nice comfortable stay with Chuncheon Tourist Hotel. We thought that the name "Tourist" meant an average run of the mill hotel. It tuned out that it was closer to being a 4-star hotel with a big room and amenties. The toilet seat was what you would find in some higher class hotels in Japan with bidet and seat warmer. Just great for the cold weather! The room was clean and as described and pictured. The hotel was within walking distance to the Myeongdong area. Chuncheon's Myeongdong is almost like Seoul's Myeongdong except that it is not as big and less busy. The famous Dakgalbi Street is in this area as well. There are other great restaurants around too. We've always wondered how one could eat cold buckwheat noodles. We gave it a try at one restuarant and it was really good! The cold watery kimchi soup which had ice shavings in it was excellent despite the cold weather! The hotel was slightly away from the crowded tourists areas which provided for a nice quiet comfortable stay. Just perfect after a "hard" day visiting all the various attractions (Nami Island, Garden of Morning Calm, etc). And you could also walk about 15 minutes or less from Chuncheon Station to the hotel if you do not have heavy luggage. You'll have to take a taxi though to the Intercity Bus Station if you plan on going on to Sokcho. It's just a short ride and does not cost much. The manager Tony was very friendly and helpful. He gave us directions and wrote some Korean for us to show to the restaurant how we would like our food. Overall, a very nice and lovely stay.

Brother and I travel with our parent and grandparent. We are so tried as we got an overnight flight before arrived to Chuncheon. We arrived hotel at around 10am. It was so nice we could get a early check-in of two rooms first, and the remaining one in the afternoon around 2-3pm, so we could have a short sleeping time before our journey. It was not much room at the hotel, but it is quite big enough with a company in a single room. We could check our details of the coming journey. I love it, very convenience for tourist. The beds are comfortable. People are nice! Also, the location is good, so many restaurant nearby. And my family members are all satisfy with the hotel. Thanks so much for bringing me a unforgettable experience and memory in Chuncheon.

Family trip in Chuncheon area by self-drive. The hotel is new, modern and clean. We stayed in the building without elevator but only staircases. Fortunately, the staff is very nice, who helped to take the luggage from G/F to 2/F and 3/F. The hotel have a distance away from Myeongdong Chuncheon. If you dont have a car, it would be a bit inconvenient.

the hotel is located near the chuncheon train station, and also within easy walking distance to the myeongdong shopping area and the dakgalbi street. the room and its bathroom were clean. the bed was comfortable. the room has a refrigerator, a jug-kettle, coffee, tea, a television, a pc with free lan access. the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, especially who also helped rent a car for travel around chuncheon.

We were very happy with our decision. No dissappointment at all. The room is new big and very clean compare to other hotel in korea. Even though it's a small size hotel, my room has jacuzzi and sperate shower area. Also the window view is the city view.

We are family of four, choose this place because of its location and beautiful scenery. The host is very friendly, drive us to super mart to get grocery and when we checked out. Although the host can't speak English, but she try her best and even get her daughter in law and friend to be the translator. Really appreciate the effort! They recommended good place to visit during our stay. Have a good stay overall.

The motel is within walking distance to Chuncheon Myeongdong and the Dalkgalbi Street. The owner is an elderly man very friendly but dont really understand english. They provide maps of Chuncheon and the owner was very nice. Room and bathroom is very spacious and clean. They also provide wifi and computer in room.

We stayed for four hotels during our stay in South Korea (which we booked through Agoda.com) and all hotels had friendly staff except this hotel. The staff was helpful for our needs however all done without any smile. The amenities in the room including shampoo was not free. You have to pay for it with HIGH price. The staff could speak little English.

Goodstay 3D Cinema Motel was a very good choice fo travellers going to Chuncheon. This motel was very near to Myeongdong Chuncheon area and Dakgalbi street and also quite near to Chuncheon Station for the ITX & Subway. But this hotel quite far to Intercity&Express Chuncheon Bus Station, so you need to take a bus. The bedroom not spacious but comfortable & clean, the bathroom was spacious & very clean. Bath and bedroom amenities was quite complete, they also provide free drinking water, coffee and hot water at the lobby. Overall we very satisfied with this hotel.

This is a perfect hotel for those that want to sightsee around chuncheon or hwacheon. Located minutes awau from chuncheon station, this hotel is not in the downtown area and it is a quiet spot. The staff is friendly and speaks enough English to do most things.

The location is a little bit far away from the central areas/tourisy area. The hotel was tidy and clean in a reasonable price range. Spacious Room.

Very nicely decorated and spacious room, however there was a slight stench of cigarette smoke that troubled us a bit. The hotel is far from the town center, where you want to go and try Dak Galbi on the famous Dak Galbi street. Close to NamChuenchong train station and long distance bus station.

Very nice. We stayed in the 4-person Ondal rooms. They provide enough bedding for everyone and the rooms are pretty big. You could practically have a pool party in the bathtub, it is huge. The location is kind of out-of-the-way, but if you've got 4 people, sharing taxis is fine. The staff was nice enough about calling a taxi service whenever we wanted. This is a legit love motel. There is a kiosk at the front where you can pay for rooms by the hour. The rooms seemed better built that most motels I've been too though, I didn't hear any noises from the other guests.

Excellent competitively priced hotel. Located halfway between train station and the major shopping/dining area of Chuncheon. We plan to go back on our next visit to Chuncheon.

I made a right decision to cut short my holiday in Seoul and spent a few days here instead. the bed was really comfy that I woke up feeling fresh everyday. A very good place if you want to recover from all those sleepless night in Seoul. And Zak himself is a very delightful guy. You can talk to him about all sorts of things for hours and hours. So overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The host is very helpful though his English seems to be limited. Location is ok. The room was ok but overpriced. Payed about $30 and got way better deals anywhere else in Korea. Shared bathroom (presumably shared by the family as well) was a mess. It's ok for one night but would stay somewhere else next time I come to Chuncheon
