"Radisson is locally known as the best hotel in Dhaka and lives upto its name. we found the staff very helpful and obliging. the rooms were spacious and the amenities adequate for a five star hotel. there are ample facilities and space around the complex that one does not need to leave. "

"reception was helpful and efficient, room was clean and comfortable, restaurant service excellent. This is the best hotel in Dhaka that I have found, and meets all the standards for 5 stars. It is quiet well protected by security walls from the throngs of people outside on the streets, and you can enjoy stepping out into the city streets to experience the life of the city, and retreating back to the hotel for escape. Opposite the hotel is a real espresso coffee shop with pastries, lattes and cappucinos. Nearby is a huge traditional open market with all the sights and smells of life in Bangladesh. Although the hotel is some distance from Old Dhaka and the notable tourist sights, I could easily get there by inexpensive baby rickshaw or arrange a taxi from the hotel."

"The reception staff was very impolite. The TV in the room was not functional & didn't take any measure to remedy it after several complaints or change our room. The water heater was initially working and after a while, the reception staff switched it off from the reception where the main switches are. Even after the complaint, he did not turn it on. Very bad experience and reception staff was also very rude. I Will not recommend to anyone to stay here, please check nearby better friendly hotels."

"If you visit Dhaka, for me the best hotel in Dhaka. Visit also Chittagong and stayed in Hotel Swuise Garden international. Paid in this hotel even more and was the most bad hotel I ever had. Stinky rooms and even no hot water!! The restaurant was Ok and also the employers. So don't go there. "

More about Dhaka

The bustling city of Dhaka boasts a rich history and a bustling atmosphere. It is the capital of Bangladesh as well as the cultural and economic hub of the country. From the Old Town to the modern malls, travelers of all kinds have something waiting for them here. The city is conveniently accessible thanks to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

When in Dhaka, bearing the crowds, heat, and humidity is worthwhile due to the number and grandeur of the religious sites, monuments, parks, and museums. Several religions are represented in the city with mosques, monasteries, churches, and temples dotting the city. Some of the most popular include the Dhakeshwari Temple, Chawk Mosque, and the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection. There are also many historic and government buildings worth checking out, including the modern architectural wonder of the National Parliament and the 17th century Lalbagh Fort. The Liberation War Museum and National Museum are excellent stops for those looking to further explore the history and culture of Bangladesh. Shoppers can head to the street markets of Banga Bazaar or to more up-to-date shopping venues such as Jamuna Future Park and Shimanto Square.
