One day in this town is more than enough. Go and see David, book a tour to see Tuscany's wine/olive/food and move on some where else, there isn't anything else to do
Florence is a beautiful city. We used 3 days to enjoy the beauty of Florence. We enjoyed the food, shopping, and the beauty of the Church.
If you more time in Firenze, just take Tuscany tour. It will take you to Siena & San Gimignano. Besides well known Pisa, Siena & San Gimiganano really marvelous two medieval towns.
prepare to get lost in narrow lanes that pass as streets everyone does .Need at least 5 days .Take the sightseeing bus on first day then put on the walking shoes.
We enjoyed this place just wish we had a little longer as we only had 3 nights, as there is so much to do and enjoy.
Other than the Uffizi museum, we only strolled through the city. And I didnt go up the Duomo as its entrance was not cheap.
I love Florence and this was my fourth time there. Each time I go I seem to discover different things.
Nice interesting city with lots of sight seeing. If u don't mind cycling, it's quite ideal to cycle around the city and easy to park the bicycle.
Florence is a small city bursting with culture and history, it's impossible to explore everything in one day.
Beautiful City , you need to visit Florence and Tuscanny if you visit Italy . Culture Architecture and so many things to do .
It is relaxing city, which can visit by walking. The duomo is so amazing, there is a wonderful view there, must go for a visit.
A beautiful city with helpful residents. A city that makes you feel comfortable & able to discover. Great for walking and moments that ' take your breath away '
Florence is a lovely place with a rich culture and history. There are plenty of attractions in Florence but if you are not particularly interested in clearing every single one of them, a day in Florence should suffice.
Must visit Gucci museum. Must buy Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo as it's origin from Florence. Visit the Mall shopping outlet, one hour by bus from Florence if looking for discounted price for branded bags and fashions.
Florence is probably the most beautiful city in Italy, a must-see, only 1-2 hours of train ride from Rome and Milano.
The centre ios a truly wonderful place - and we barely scratched the surface in 4 days. The Uffizi and the Duomo are 'must sees' and we did the trek up the Giotto bell tower (its a long way and not to be recommended to the faint of heart or those with small children).
Florence is a beautiful city. Very convenient to get around via the bus, tram/metro, taxi or cars. Many nice historical and cultural buildings, churches, landmarks and wide variety of flowers to see, trees and plants all over the city for those who like nature.
It's beautiful, it has an atmosphere of romance and it breaths art and history. There's a lot to see and don't miss out the view, go up to piazza Michelangelo (very steep but you can go by bus) and enjoy the view of Florence from above.
Very beautiful place and relatively safer as compare to the other parts of italy. Must visit to prada space outlet! Love the coffee there.
Firenze is a wonderful city with works of art around every corner. It is great for history and culture but not for the crowds in the summer months.
Being the home of the Italian Renaissance I fully expected to spend my entire trip sightseeing; I was not wrong.
I recommend to go for a wine tour. it was the first time we have joined a tour wine in Europe. Luckily it was sunny and cool day.
Nice place with beautiful building. Good for shopper which like branded stuff, the Mall give a lot of choices.
The city of Florence is one of the best during my visit to Italy. The food is definitely one of the best, highly recommend the Firenze steak.
Feel like a city of love even though i went with a friend. Is a very romantic city. Clean, picturistique, calm, classy with lots of sightseeing within reach and good foods and of course good wines.
Florence is a beautiful city that one must explore if they go to Italy. It is the birthplace of the renaissance and has some of the most spectacular works of art in the world.
Summer in Florence is not the best time to see the city. The crowds of loud tourists really spoiled the atmosphere.
Florence is beautiful and has a great atmosphere that we decided to extend our stay for another 2 nights.
The street market is a must to visit as well as the restaurant called "Za-za's" for the steak and wine.
Florence is a very beautiful city and full arts and history. We loved everything, and you need more than 2 days to explore all richness of arts and history in Florence.
