Dormy Inn Honhachinohe Hot Springs
"I enjoyed this hotel twice in my travels to Hachinohe. It is close to the city center and to Hachinohe Yataimura Miroku Yokocho. (the streets lined with Yatai Izakaya stalls...However it is a 10-15 minute, slightly uphill walk from the nearest station which is Hon-Hachinohe.
(The good news is the walk to the station is slightly downhill)
As others have mentioned the free coffee and fresh apple juice in the lobby is great, though I never had a chance to try the "night noodles".
Front desk staff was great and let me store my luggage before check-in.
I would recommend getting a double room as it is slightly more luxurious than the single."Show more

Hotel Select Inn Honhachinohe Ekimae
"First of all the location is perfect, just opposite to the station. There is also some food around, even small temple and park for morning walk. The room itself is considered clean and good. Breakfast is really nice and the staff are helpful. I surprised that the price is considered really cheap. My only note is the station (Hon-hachinohe) not having many train schedule to nearest shinkansen station (Hachinohe) like 30mins once, so you must be very careful not to miss train."Show more

APA Hotel Honhachinohe
"Only hotel available six months before Aomori festival. Everything else was booked out. It is another 5miles from JR Hachinohe station either by subway to Hon-Hachinohe and 20 minute walk, or bus and 15 min walk or 20 min taxi (2000 yen). It might suit people who are looking to travel around Hon Hachinohe as there are goo restaurants and 7eleven nearby.

Grand Park Hotel Panex Hachinohe
"Grand Park Hotel far exceeded my expectations for the quality of the facilities and service of the staff. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The deep soaking tub was fantastic at the end of a long day. The hotel is located in the heart of Hachinohe and was a short walk to everything that I wanted to do. I recommend their breakfast buffet as it too was exceptional."Show more

Hachinohe Grand Hotel
"My friend and I were in Hachinohe when Typhoon Hagibis hit. Luckily Hachinohe was not in its path, with the Shinkansen down, it meant we could not continue with our planned itinerary. The staff was really helpful although they couldn't speak English well. One of the staff in particular helped us to extend our stay although we had to change rooms and helped us call the ryokan that we were supposed to go to to cancel the room."Show more

Hotel Tetora Hachinohe
"It's about 10 minutes if taking a walk from Hachinohe train station. The hotel has a wide parking lot but the room is relatively small and with light smell of smoking. Most guests are seems to be males but ladies also can enjoy the night here including the Japanese style public bathroom for females. It's recommended to have dinner and breakfast here because there are not too many options for meals nearby."Show more

"i got a good bargain (no-cancellation), so i must say it is value for money.
the hotel looks new and clean. the room is very clean and comfortable. there is a air-conditioner which is very important in tohoku. some old hotels do not have it and you end up in a very very warm room.
the free breakfast is good. i used the washing machine and dryer which were reasonably priced (200yen) for wash, 100 yen for dryer (30min). it is slightly cheaper than other places. in brought my own washing powder, of course u can pay 50yen to buy one pkt also.
the hotel is smoke-free throughout. i slept very well.
all in all, a great hotel in hachinohe"Show more

Hotel Marine Castle
"My daughter & I stayed at this hotel. Great location. A bit over priced. The staff were friendly & accommodating, but the website is misleading. This is actually a business hotel. The 'coffee shop' is a mere table with coffee machine dispenser. We were given a free coupon for 1 drink each each day.
The communal baths stated as part of the 'hotel's facilities' was in fact for men only. The staff did attempt to accommodate our needs by allowing us in the baths (since no men required these facilities at the time - public holiday) and placed a 'private group' sign on the door and told us to lock from inside.
It was a public holiday and the restaurant advertised on website was closed.
Room adequate but old, with slight mould smell. Carpet near elevator was wet."Show more
