It is a very lay back places, more for family outings. The beach is about 10 mins away by taxi cost about 60 Israel currency.
A great mix of cultures, people, nature, history. Great food, nice restaurants and always close to the beach.
The German quarter is nice place to just chill, watch people, drink and eat, and smoke arguileh. Drive up the hill, and there are lots of restaurants with good food and great views of the bay. Buy some beers and go down to the beach during the day, then hit the bars and clubs at night. Or wander around the Bahai gardens, Loui park, up and down the Carmel. Truly something for everyone.
