We had a good stay at Hotel Hassan Ashhok. The staff at the front office, restaurant, house-keeping and transport were all very friendly and helpful. The food was good, but here's one suggestion for the management: include South-Indian dishes on the menu.

Excellent. A business hotel upto WW standards. The cleanliness was a nice break from some of the other hotels we used on our private car tour of South India. The hotel staff were freindly and efficient. Dinner is served in the room, really good choice and quality, served hot. Me and my wife just planned on saturday morning to go to Hassan (we had no concrete plans, we just decided at 8 and started at 9 in the morning after briefly shortlisting the places to see, we even booked our hotel on the way through agoda website),and to our surprise it turned out to be a great weekend, the road to Hassan was a superb drive (with great landscape, natu...

At night there was a bonfire at the resort alongwith a very delicious food. At the riverdale, the resort has a very nice park, a good pool, a volleyball court and nature around. It was very quiet surrounding and we returned back to Bangalore feeling rejuvenated. A special mention of the manager, who was very accomodating and humble. He gave us all kinds of good tips to visit various place and how we can plan to see the nearby areas next time. we have stayed at several hotels, but never have I witnessed a hotel manager telling us 'I stay here only, and you can give me a call even during night if there is any problem' . we are definitely going again with family to stay!!

This spacious, modern hotel is a couple of ks from the noisy centre of town. Rooms are huge with every facility. Request one of the rear rooms, which look out on green fields with grazing cattle and an occasional passing train on the line about 500 m away. They also face away from the noise of the road. Request one of the rear rooms, which look out on green fields with grazing cattle and an occasional passing train on the line about 500 m away. They also face away from the noise of the road. There are 2 restaurants: the one downstairs is pure veg, offers (an average) South Indian breakfast of breads and curry and is very popular with locals - frequently packed out. The Liquid Lounge on the 2nd floor is not veg (but offers a range of veg meals too) and has a liquor license. It is more relaxed and peaceful than downstairs, though isn't open for breakfast. The owner, Mr Sharma, is friendly, available, speaks English well, is responsive to guest needs (such as turning on the a/c in the Liquid Lounge for us) and offers use of hotel cars with drivers at market rates. We used and enjoyed this service, as getting onto buses or trains appears difficult and heavily booked. The Hotel Raama really is the most comfortable and best value for money in this town. It is very popular with Indian tourists too. We suggested to Mr Sharma that he considers organising an outdoor seating area, preferably one facing the green fields at the rear.

The resort is still in the process of construction. They gave us villa rooms (btw we had booked for a suite) on Agoda. The rooms were still in construction. No lights on the path. Plastic sheets covering the bathroom windows. No water and No AC. No curtains either. How has Agoda accepted this hotel for online bookings? The staff Kartick operations manager and Devaraj i...

The staff Kartick operations manager and Devaraj in charge of the restaurant were very helpful, But with no facilities what can they do. They moved us to the main building the next day and things were better. BTW their swimming pool and Indoor badminton courts are top class.

Very well-maintained hotel and rooms, clean and tidy and modern. Shower was good but surprisingly the wash basin had no mixer... surprising, and a little annoying. The room itself was impeccable. Good wi-fi. Restaurant was a let-down, they had run out of most items and almost all desserts by dinner-time. Would recommend without reservations, would stay here again.
