Innsbruck hotels & places to stay

I stayed in 2 hotels in Innsbruck for one night each and this was much the better option. Good clean hotel and well priced for the city

Was in Innsbruck for a honeymoon stop over. Arrived early in the morning at 4am, and thou check-in is available only after 11am, the staff still allowed us to check in at 4am and this gives us a great time to rest before moving out later in the morning Room was spacious and also clean. Bed was comfortable and the chrome equipments in the room were very well maintained and couldnt see any fingerprints which shows the quality of the housekeeping Staff were courteous and knowledgeable and provided info to us on the sights to see and directions around Great hotel, which is easily accessible as it is just infront of the train station. Safety were ensured as the main door was locked after dark with only access for guests Close proximity to the town center which is within walking distance Value for money and comfort. Great breakfast. Only drawback is slow internet access which can be compensated by the comfort of the room and service quality

Located right on the river a 10-15 minute walk from the train station (with bags). This is the perfect hotel to access Innsbruck and the greater area, you can walk to the Funnicular and the Tourist Information Centre. When we return to Innsbruck this will be the first place we try to book. Also get the Innsbruck card a local attraction card that provides amazing access to a lot of sites for very discounted prices.

Staff was vey friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom and furniture are a bit old. Parking spots are available in front or behind the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at Innsbruck Hotel even though we only stayed for a night. Especially love how the hotel is just next to the train station. We did not have breakfast, but the breakfast add on was fairly cheap.

We had a top floor room and had an absolutely breathtaking view. Very close to the city center (walking distance) and a very friendly staff. Great value for the money. Would recommend.

a really nice hotel. located a little bit of a walk from the train station, is still easy enough to find since it's only 2 streets away (20 minute walking). the hotels rooftop rooms were fun, as they opened up to allow a wonderful view of innsbruck and the mountains that surround it. breakfast was great. large and tasty meals. the bar also was a nice little thing and much more preferable than going to a local bar where they were filled with cigarette smoke.

This hotel had a perfect location, friendly and very helpful reception staff as well as being immaculately clean! The included breakfast was truly delicious! A fantastic variety of food (I am gluten intolerant so was lovely to have such a wide range of foods I could eat!) We would definitely stay here again - well worth it!!

This hotel is located about 20mins by tram from the city, and close by the main motorways. It is 10mins walk from a major mall. It has spacious, well appointed rooms with a lounge, minibar and a couple of hot plates (but no utensils, cooking things etc). The bathroom is spacious with both bath and shower and skylights making it bright and airy. The hotel includes an awesome breakfast with tea, coffee (expresso, not instant!), juice and a range of meats, cheeses, cereals, hot boiled eggs, jams, breads and many other things - one of the best breakfasts we have had. There are not alot of restaurants in the area though. Highly recommended.

Staff is not the most courteous, building looks old and run down, but hostel room is surprisingly on par with other hostels in terms of cleanliness. bath room is huge. hostel is quite a long walk from the city center. would pay more for a more convenient location should i visit again. overall experience is neutral, since accommodation in innsbruck is generally more expensive and his hostel is one of the cheapest listed ones.

Very far from city. No proper support of staff during odd hours, still being a hotel. Roims were extremely dirty wityboldcfurnitures not ckeaned and spider nest almostbeverywhere. Flies goung around in all food iitems during breakfast, when reported the host at front office and restaurant personnel showed extreme annger and attitude. This hotel is not at all welcoming to foreigners (except white mwybe) and real worst value for money oaid. No hygeine sense of staff and very rude in behaviour, not recommended at all.

i visited innsbruck for a business at the university. i chose this hotel because of the look of the room posted on web, and free wifi. the room was a bit small (but i guessed that's normal for any place in eu, or at least to my experiences), and i didn't really care much since i spent most of the time outside the hotel anyway. all staffs were nice and made me felt like they did care so much about my stay. the only inconvenient thing would be that there was no publice transportation passing through the hotel. but, though, it could be reached easily by at most 2 mins walking. will definitely stay here again next time.

This hotel is in a great location and is easy to find. In my opinion, the best location in town. Although it is not the most central hotel in Innsbruck, the city is a small city easily walked around. This hotel is only a short distance from the train station (just straight down Salurner strasse!) which is great when dragging suitcases and, after dropping off your bags and settling in, the compact city centre is just another short distance away (straight down Maria-Theresian strasse!). The staff were quite good, although at times seemed 'programmed'. However, we did not have much contact with them so this didn't bother us too much. We were situated on the top floor (14th), the deluxe floor, and the best floor for the great views over the city. There are amazing views from this floor at all angles. We were lucky to have been given one of the better rooms with a great view of the nearby Alps. Other than the view, the room itself was average. It was a nice room but I have stayed in better rooms, for cheaper, in bigger cities. But Austria is very expensive anyway and usually the hotels there are very basic, so I suppose on Austrian standards, it was very good. It was the only Austrian hotel that we stayed in that had a modern TV. It was a pity though, that with all there international channels, they didn't even have one Irish one. The only two problems we had with the hotel was that the king-sized bed was supplied with two single quilts instead of one big king-sized quilt, causing us to get knotted up in the quilt quite a lot. The other problem was with the heat and power of the shower. It was the weakest power we had stayed in in Austria, and the least hot. I expected better from Hilton hotels. Not very invigorating after a long cold walk through the city christmas markets.

Austria Trend Hotel Congress Innsbruck, apart from being a mouthful, is an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay in Innsbruck. It is located directly across from the train that heads up the mountain, so is very convenient for skiers and sightseers. The hotel is a short walk to the city's old town, 5-10 minutes, depending on your pace. The staff was extremely courteous and kind and was very accommodating. We found the rooms to be of excellent quality: large and spacious, well appointed, aptly furnished, and very comfortable. The beds were large and of high quality, as were the linens. The only thing missing was a bathtub. There is parking directly below the hotel which costs 12 euros per night. A EuroSpar is located right next door to make for ease of purchasing any groceries of otherwise.

Igls was the first place we landed in austria and just fell in love with it. It is 15 min away from innsbruck city centre with a J line running every 15 mins till 10.45 p.m. Our hotel was 10 min walk from the igls village centre . Most towns in europe are similar but the charm of living away from town close to the lovely green meadows was just a fanstactic orientation for the rest of our trip. Being close to ski slopes , it definitely is on top of list during winter but personally, i think it was even better in summer as there were hardly any crowds and access to innsbruck is too easy and comes free with theinnsbruck card. So if you are not looking for a nightlife this is a great place.

there were nice rooms. there was laundry room on our floor. the staff is very friendly. it was nice that there is a bar with kitchen which works till late eveing because we had late check-in and all restaurans were already closed. the hotel is 15min walk from station of funicular and cable car to mountains but a littelt bi far from the center but you can easy get there by tram or bus.

First time to Innsbruck, this hotel located in quite strategic location to city center. Very close to the Nordkette station! Great breakfast for a small hotel and nice clean room, good for us couple. Only downside is the bed is two twins so often we drifted away one of the bed. Wifi is okay, different password every 2 hours but works for us. Good for couple on a budget!

For more than 100euros per night, hot food such as eggs, sausages, potatoes for the breakfast spread wouldve been nice. Its not near the old town but we booked the hotel as the carpark is free. Room was clean and we got a really nice room with a balcony overlooking the snow caps!

This hotel has a great view of Innsbruck. The rooms are clean and functional. The restaurant food is okay too if you're lazy to go out for food. Parking and Internet are free. For the price, it's value for money.

This place is located in a fantastic location, it is on a quiet road so bring your mountain bike as there is a 6km bike track you can follow to a little town, magnificent views of the alps. Igls is a quaint town with one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten in. Close enough to Innsbruck to enjoy the old charming townsite

We were allocated to the adjacent residential block. Several rooms of this apartment building belong to Hotel Zillertal. The corridors are dark. Feeled like staying in an remote apartment rather than in a hotel. The room was clean, tidy and large, but the hot water supply was not adequate for two showers.

Overall was average. The hotel was far from Innsbruck so you should have your own car.

We had a very good experience staying there. Excellent quality materials/furniture & fittings used. Well organized roo. Great location. Staff were really helpful in all sense.

Very well fitted out apartment with kitchen items and washing machine, we were very grateful for. Location is excellent in the old town and close to everything you need. Friendly host who gave us some great recommendations for our stay. Highly recommend.

The hotel located not far from downtown in the resident area. There is no staff at front desk, nor even have front desk at all, just a little machine to check in and leave your card key in the mail box when you check out. Overall, the experience with the hotel is good, big space with balcony and kitchen. Only thing I was not feeling so comfortable when I checked in is, I need fill the resident data and at nationality, I could only choose: Taiwan, province of China, which I believe most of Taiwanese would not so happy to see that. If you could see this comment, please do correct it asap before next Taiwanese book this hotel.

♥️♥️♥️♥️Great experience and wonderful apartment in Innsbruck. The golden roof and the Hofburg museum are just next door !! Great location. Hygiene is good and have enough space for carrying big luggage. Around 15 mins walk to the ÖBB station. Restaurant just few steps away and supermarket nearby. The household is super nice. It makes my trip more enjoyable.
