"Pluses: (1) Parking is $25 per day with in and out privileges as a self park (no valet like Manhattan). (2) Rooms are large for NYC. Even though it's in Jersey City, it is a 10 minute walk to Exchange place train where it takes you to the World Trade Center., so it's an extension of the city. (3) Bicycle friendly, great for the 5 boro ride or anytime noting the large rooms makes bike storage easy. I have stayed at different hotels on Manhattan and bike storage is a struggle in small rooms. (4) Location: Even though it's not located in Manhattan, it has a cool little area nearby. It's easier to access if approaching the city than the west (no bridge or tunnel lines) than Manhattan. (5) The kitchen and Lots of towels. Service is weekly, but there is a kitchen with supplies and lots of towels for rooms with a pull out bed. The bedroom is a separate room too. it's like a small apartment. (6) Views: You can see the skyline . You cant when in Manhattan. "

"This hotel is great value for money if you are considering New York offering better value room rates than Manhattan. You can take the ferry across the Hudson river from outside the hotel to visit the sights and return to the hotel in the evening for memorable views of the Manhattan skyline. Outside the hotel Jersey City have pedestrianised and decked out the waterfront area with seating and were offering free outdoor jazz with the skyline as the backdrop. There is also a 9/11 memorial made from the twisted remains of the twin towers ironwork. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the large walk in shower was good. Breakfast is on the 11th floor with views over the Hudson river and New York harbour. The close by 'City Diner' is a good option for evening food and drinks with the locals. Parking is available through the hotel and with local providers."
