Very good staff and co-operative. Never feel like you're in a strange place. Restaurant staff is very accomodative and try their best to fulfill your request. Restaurant is not fully functional but they have many dishes and depending on the availability of ingredients being in an island. Good news is they have got license recently to operate the bar. Overall a good experience of its kind.

The hotel room are small , bathroom is too small. Staff is new and not trained fully to what big group of hotels have. For place like Karwar may be the best hotel but if compare with any average city hotel , service is below par. ( No water bottle provision in room)bathroom accessories are missing , no clothesline in bathroom as place is surrounded with beaches and everyone has to wash their clothes.)

We chose this property for a reasonable stay during Christmas this December in karwar . We booked it in advance and when we reached the place we didn't know that we were welcomed in a place full of . We loved its location , nearby area , near to beach , easily accessible . But the place has nothing to please you . The rooms were not up to the mark , they stinked from the duct . So we asked them to change the room . The another room didn't got any side table and they covered it up by saying that - we are expecting too much . Just for a side table - This was very disappointing . They got a restro on top floor . I don't know why did they are managing a dining service because it is worst of its kind . The food sucked , staff is either illiterate or ignorant , cleanliness seems to be a word out if dictionary to them . We expected good breakfast as it was inclusive , but another disappointment was waiting for us . Now let me ,write about the worst thing of all , the day we reached they had a power cut , n they didn't even bothered to start a generator for an hour . It was a hot day in karwar and we were sweating in our rooms . This was very irritating because this happened twice that day . The managers knew nothing about the area , neither they were able to tell us about place , sight seeing and other activities nor they were able to tell us about transport facility available . And when we asked him to book a car for half day city tour . He said that it will take 3-4 hrs and the driver will take us to 5-6 points of sightseeing for Rs 1250 and we agreed . The next morning when we took the car the driver took us to a beautiful fort , a port and a temple . We asked him to take us to devbag beach as we have already seen other points . Only an extra 2 km drive after which he dropped us back to hotel , he asked for an extra charge . In all he drove 14-15 km and charged us 1250 with an extra charge .
