to name a few of the great things to do
Key West is a nice city. Biggest attraction is to be at the most southern point in the US and see the sunset.
We were only in Key West for one night, definitely not long enough. The beach is lovely and the water very warm.
Key lime pie is a must try. And the trolley tour would be a great thing to do.
Street parking is limited and meter readers give parking tickets quite often even if you are 5 minutes late! That is a terrible thing to do to patrons of their restaurants, bars, and stores! Try to take a hotel shuttle if possible to avoid parking tickets.
Duval Street was lots of fun, Mallory Square hat fun activities and street performers as well as a beautiful sunset, Hemmingway's house and Truman's little Whitehouse were nice, historical attractions. Southernmost Point is a great photo opportunity. Beautiful beaches too.
It is very nice in the summer as long as you enjoy the water. Key west is surronded by water abd the main sports there is fishing, Jet skiing, Snorkeling and other water sports.
By the night everything changes there is bars and clubs in almost every corner of Duval Street. So in a nut shell There is something to do for the whole family.
Old parts of town very attractive with well preserved buildings. Weather very good for December. More suitable for older visitors than young party-goers.
Handy to have a cinema. Slow drive to get to Key West from Miami but fun in a convertible.
Only thing need to worry about Key West is the budget. You can find help anywhere, people are friendly in Key West.
I bought lunch from a grocery store, and the old store owner told me if I didn't pay for the hotel room yet, my family can stay at his friend's guest room for almost nothing, it was not booked till Christmas Eve. So this is Key West. Will I come back again? Maybe not so soon, Miami has Everglades and Orlando has Daytona beach, but the experience in Key west is something you deserve before you are old. When you don't meet someone you love, ask the question again -- whether she is going to a bar in Key West, this Christmas?
